Clown Pets are REAL

The new mirror image power customization of Phantom Army means that the pets you summon will look like you.

 

Create a clown costume for yourself.  Switch to it and summon your phantoms.  Then switch back to your normal costume.  You now have 3 indestructible clowns demanding the attention of your foes.

I've been doing that with some goblin minions. I started a suggestion thread about letting us have a dedicated costume slot for custom pets. Either a current one we have, like #6 maybe, or allow us to pick any given slot from the basic starting slots.

 

With the 15 second cool down for the costume change, it's a bit messy to do it the way we're doing it now so having a slot for it would be amazeballs. 

 

Also, if you zone while you have these cool custom pets out, they'll revert to whatever costume you have active.

I'm wondering if this could done with a costume change macro, to make it a little less clunky. 

 

Maybe something like...

/macro Clones "CC2$$powexec_name Phantom Army"

 

Not sure if it would work, cuz I haven't tested it.

Remember, unfortunately there's a 15 second timeout on costume changing, so you can't swap just for the summons and swap back 😞
