Themed TF/SF Saturdays

On live I ran mostly female toons.  When people asked I used to say the butts looked better.  If I am going to be staring at it, might as well stare at the nicer one. 

 

Back on live I think it was an archetype thing. Controllers, Tankers, MMs tended to be male and Defenders, Corruptors, Dominators, Blasters were female.  The rest were split more by character idea, even if I didn't have data in the bio section. 

 

On HC only about 20% of my toons are female.  About half the toons I really enjoy are female.  About half of my level 50s I'm not motivated to play. 

 

Now I think I need new alt idea.

Our theme for March 27th is the Tree of Thorns Respec (Levels 24-33 - Red Side – Sparcetriel is the contact in Nerva Archipelago) - Giant / All Melee: Can be any Melee AT...must be a Giant...take that height to the max! I learned my lesson and did confirm that we can start straight there without any prior contacts.

So, this is what happened yesterday...

 

I had this brilliant idea for a concept for next week. It's kind of a crossover from Masters of the Universe to the Marvel Cosmos, a giant tank called HE-HULK.

 

 

Ran him in through a few levels in Atlas Park, there even was some romance in the air(!) 😍

 

 

....

 

And then, while setting up a DFB to kick him off into the teens, I got shot down again with the Generizizer!

Finished DFB and threw the toon away again.

Can't tell you how annoying that felt.

@TrixieKixx I am not 100% sure yet if I will be able to make it this saturday. Just in case, when I show up it will be with PANZER-FAUST (which translates to something like "Tank-Buster"), a Shield/Superstrength Tank.

Although, to be honest, he started out as member of a blue side retro-team, and I only created a red side version of him for this run.

Thanks for the awesome pics, @Midnyte! It was a lot of fun today...as always 😄 I'm going to try something new for each week...I'm going to post the whole month, removing past weeks, and the sign ups for the week in the same post with the current week bolded. Let me know if you guys like that format. Here goes!

 

BTW, @Bananiac has Spring Forward this week so he'll be back on the same time zone as those of us in the US did Spring Forward. We had an awesome time doing the SF again with two other villains and it was a blast!

April 10th - Apex TF (Level 50 + Alpha Slot – Heroes & Villains – Rikti War Zone)...FYI...you need Alpha Slotted or you will be playing at –4 Def, which is basically level 46. All enemies will be at level 54. - Only one AT of each type...first come, first served...plus Sexy costumes...let's make them sweat! 

April 17th - Synapse (Level 15-20 – Blue Side – Skyway City) - Candy (Costume only): Your favorite candy should be reflected by your Name & Costume 

April 24th - Operative Renault ( Level 25-30 – Red Side – Sharkhead Isle) - All Stalker Team: Costume color will be your favorite gem or jewel! For example: White (Diamond), Green (Emerald), Red (Ruby), etc.
