When I looked at this build the powers have some crazy high damage values. Especially moonbeam with 2100 damage. Even with the same slotting in the power, incarnates, and AAO turned on I don’t even get to half of that damage. Most all the powers have pretty significantly higher damage values than what I can get except for lightning rod. What am I missing?

Sorry.  I was looking for max values so I had Against All Odds maxxed at ten and Assassination inherent turned on and that's probably where I saved it.  Assault Hybrid and Reactive Interface are also turned on and adding to the damage.  Moonbeam hits hard and can crit from hide.  You can get even crazier numbers if you turn on Build up with a Gaussian Proc.  If you turn off AAO and the Inherent you'll see more reasonable numbers.

I did turn AAO on to max, but didn’t think about the inherent.

 

Well if Mids was also just being screwy then that’s okay too. I was just trying to figure out how all the damage powers were so high.

Savage / bio ? Seen a good savage / shield build but the lack of heal put me off, I was thinking of going bio instead and using shadow meld, because the meld can be up every 25 seconds for 15 seconds and then use absorb sheild inbetween then, but not seen anyone mention sav/bio in the forums

I've yet to finish working on my own sav/bio final build which bums me a bit because it was super fun leveling with it (could be the toon's story and playing it up in-game as well) and kinda zoomed to 50 without realizing it. Had to try going between different posts on the primary and secondary by themselves at first but kinda gave up.

 

Between sav/bio and elec/shield, I'm not sure I've had more fun with stalkers. Now I've started an elec/bio for sport to see how they work together.

A question for electric melee users. You pop into a group with LR and then AS the boss. Hide procs so you are hidden again. Then what?

 

Other sets have a big hitter that is great when hidden. What do you use when AS is down?

Hmmm, I would probably go Chain Induction or maybe Thunder Strike? I honestly don't remember what I use when in that situation.  Mine usually goes Lightning Rod or Ion Judgement with Shield Charge after followed by picking up the pieces of their tattered souls. But yeah, pre-50, pretty sure Chain and Thunder were my follow ups from AS.

I wouldn't open with LR>AS because after LR, you're still in Hide until you get hit, so you'll be using slow interruptable AS.  The best bet is to instead open with LR and then a crittable AoE or another decent hitter.  Thunderstrike or Ball Lightning are good AoE follow ups.  For single target, I go Chain Induction, or Havoc Punch if my build has it, then hit AS because I should have 2-3 stacks of focus by that point, giving me a 70%-100% crit chance on fast AS.

Recently asked this question in a new post but found this thread and it might be a better place to get an answer:

 

Does the Against All Odds buff work while Hidden? I just made my first Elec/Shield and was excited to sneak into the middle of a large group and see all the little blue buff icons before launching my first attack . .  .not seeing it. 😢

No, it is suppressed while hidden.

I don't really notice much of an impact from AAO on my sav/shield because the aoe damage is so high that you rarely get surrounded and saturated. Plus the telenukes are usually executed before they are buffed . I suspect elec/shield would have a similar experience.

 

AAO is most famous on single target scrappers (ie dark/shield) because it has taunt and they want lot of fodder to fuel soul drain. 

But if you are willing to work on the boss for a bit while everything else surrounds you before you vaporize them with LR/SC you can see the impact of AAO a bit more.

Thanks. I guess I was hoping the telenukes could get executed after they were buffed. I guess they still can but definitely not the first one.  Does this mean if I use the Stalker ATO chance for Hide enhancement that every time it goes off I lose AAO for a moment?

Yes.  AAO suppresses while hidden.  It also has a damage debuff so if it didn't you'd be constantly alerting nearby mobs, potentially knocking you out of hide.  I believe chilling embrace works the same.

 

I do know there was a thread a while back debating whether or not it was worth opening with something else (maybe thunder strike?) to unhide yourself with, then nuking at point blank range with the AAO buff.  I think most agreed it wasn't worth it for their playstyle, but there was at least one that felt otherwise.  Can always try it and see what works best for you.
