DougGraves Posted February 8, 2023 Share Posted February 8, 2023 I joined a pug TF. I check the other characters powers to see what sort of support they bring. One character was a level 22 corruptor. They had 1 power from their primary. They had 3 sorcery powers, 3 presence powers, and a teleport power. I wonder why they wouldn't just go with a defender, if we're assuming they're focusing mainly on their secondary and the pool powers. They take the bare minimum required from their primary/secondary (3 powers?) and fill the rest of their picks with pool powers. I've even teamed with one at lvl 50. That's one of the beauties of the game for me - you can play this game so differently every time. 2 There's a fine line between a numerator and a denominator but only a fraction of people understand that. Zect Posted February 11, 2023 Share Posted February 11, 2023 I have a lot of fondness for strange, off-meta builds, or simply attempting to match/exceed the performance of typical builds with less conventional alternatives. You can even learn some unexpected things that way. However, a build that's intentionally quirky and a build that's simply terribly constructed can sometimes look very similar at first glance.
