PUG Madness continues

[Snarky]

I join a MoMC PUG.  So we start in, and the team starts it as a kill all.  I mention this increases the odds against us.  But we grind in.  No worries.  I am on a Dark Blaster and play it sly.  About halfway through the first mission half the team hares off to the end fight.  And the empath gets killed.  We reform.  And i mention we need to stay together.  And... get kicked.  Okay, so i said it in a Snarky manner.  What, I am not supposed to show fangs?

i think in this case it was.  i logged in to check "winter status" saw the pug ad and joined.  have a few days off.  thought wandered through my brain, lets get those 1400 basdges up to 1500!  then...

 

so, i will be studying German the next few days and avoid the stupidity.  i mean, erm, Happy Gaming und Frohe Weihnachten!

Yeah, if you cannot make it through the first mission of a Market Crash (with a Tank and an Empath!!!) without deaths....  Just... just....

If I were in your shoes of consistent terrible Pugs idk how long I could stand it 😂

I swear when you recruit for a team you must be advertising it as something akin to "MoMC LFM, must be on a PLed toon with no experience and be new to MC, additionally bad builds preferred, and bonus points if you don't even know what a build or a "master of" run is".

 

Then once you have them on a team you have them sign an NDA and let them know you'll be posting about them on the forums.

I usually have good experiences with Excelsior. I truly don’t know HOW snarky keeps getting into these situations.

I too rarely have bad PUG experiences and if it wasn't for the fact that I have been on teams that included a Snarky and thus have seen him play, I would use Old Senior Chief Jensen's axiom of "shipmate, have you ever sat down and realized the problem is you?"  So that causes me to ponder the other possibilities.

I kid, of course.  Although about one of the only times I remember being on a team with Snarky was a Tarikoss SF that failed and disbanded about 20 seconds after entering the first door because of a total screw up with levels.  Definitely the team lead's fault of course... but Snarky was there, wasn't he?  WASN'T... HE?!

I've never teamed with @Snarky.  I've also never had a bad pick-up group experience on the HC servers.

 

 

The fact that I play on a different shard and haven't joined any pick-up groups at all is irrelevant.  The data doesn't lie.

I've had some odd pickup groups.  I definitely prefer them when I'm on discord with friends so we can verify the WTF.

Can you imagine what the final mission would have been like, if that PUG managed to get that far?  (There's no way they managed to get that far.)

Really, they did @Snarky a favor by showing their incompetence before he wasted any more time with them.

I was on a Posi 1 or 2 with Snarky a while back and we succeeded. It's not always a bad PuG for Snarky.

Here's what I do if I'm not the tank...follow the tank. This has never failed me.

I do not do that. I do tend to follow the tram while also watching if someone is lost/in need of help
