The newest version is 2.6, released today.  You can always find the latest releases here.

Does it autoupdate when a new one is posted or do I have to keep checking?

Update checks are in limbo, I like to think 2.6's update checks work, but so far they only will let you know there's a new version not download/update self.

It's either not saving my robots/time build right, or not loading it right. Every time I reload the build, Battle Drones, Protector Bots and Assault Bot are removed from the build and the enhancements placed into their slots are removed.

I've updated to the new 2.6, and it's not saving some settings.  It does not save the Discord Export Settings, nor does it save Updates & Paths.  I tried adding a Discord Server, and changed the default save folder.  Neither of them will stick when re-opening Mid's Reborn.

 

It saves for me, I'm not sure what's going on there, what path do you have it installed to?

May I suggest a major version bump to either 2.6 or 3.0, to let people know that this is something entirely different than any of the other versions floating around?

Can you share the build? including which powers are on/off at the time? and what the in-game shows for that same combo?

I'm using Windows 8.1 Pro, and used the ZIP file to extract to C:\Mid's Reborn\

Huh. And this source code is entirely in C#? Nice. I never actually finished converting all the VB stuff before everything closed down.

 

Btw, most of the VB is out, but there may be some straggling references.

Tell me more about what's happening? what locations are you trying? it has the odd requirement of needing an empty directory to install into, without letting you create one in the dialog box. Only other thing I've heard it have a problem with is My Documents, but so far I've been unable to reproduce it.

There's an annoying visual bug where mousing over a power puts the green "slot to be placed" image over the last blue "slot already placed" image on a power.

If it helps, I've tried several different variations.  I go to Options > Configuration > Discord Export.  It saves my handle and channel, but it just simply will not save the Discord server.  I put the Discord server in it, then click "Add."  It adds it.  I click on "OK."  Then when I open the Discord Export options back up, the server is gone.

 

For the builds folder, the same thing.  I change the folder, and click "OK."  Then I open the Updates & Paths options back up, and it's back to the default Documents folder.

Also, I'm not exactly sure what's causing it, but I have a level 50 fully Incarnated Radiation Melee/Radiation Armor Brute in game.  I re-made the build from Pine's 2.21 to the new 2.6, and the resistance numbers are all off.  They're all about 6% lower than in-game.  I triple checked that all of the powers that should be on are on, I triple checked all of the accolades and that they're on, I triple checked all of the Incarnate powers, I triple checked all of the IOs...

Edit: Never mind, I did some testing and apparently what is wrong is the in game displayed values. Actual timed values seem to match up with what is in the builder. Not exactly sure where you’re supposed to see accurate, all inclusive values in game then - the differences can be substantial.

Using both the installer and binary versions of the newer Mids Reborn versions (2.6) I am unable to load or save ANY build and have been unable to associate mxd files upon loading the exe.

 

When attempting to load a build I get this error message:

 

 

I had used Mids Reborn that was previously linked in the discord before without any issues as well as the ClickOnce install version of Pines.(2.23)

The designer seems to be working fine, except that it is slow as molasses and constantly locks up.  Any suggestions?

In the View Totals -> Misc Buffs box, the text for speed gets cut off and jumbled when viewing in miles or kilometers per hour. This could be easily fixed by abbreviating to MPH and KPH respectively. Feet and meters per second are already abbreviated and don't have this problem.

I'm having an issue where Mids' won't recognize I've dismissed those first run pop-ups and they pop up each time I run the program. It also won't save my settings between sessions.
