Yet now we have 3 control sets where the taunt was given to doms unchanged. Arsenal - Tri-Cannon Plant - Spirit Tree Pyro - Glittering column So can any of you folks make the inconsistency make sense? Why cant Illusion doms have their taunt back? 3

Conisdering the dominator themselve is a pocket blaster, and the ATs heavier focus on hard control rather then support I think this one makes perfect sense. Dom's phantom army does controls and debuffs such as knockdowns, slows, stuns, etc depending on the attack type they use, Controller version just does damage, even if the phantom uses an ice blast it doesn't actually slow for example, whereas dom's version does. Honestly from playing both I rarely even noticed the lack of taunt on the Dom's phantom army. With the damage they do the phantom army tend to get aggro pretty well even without the taunt. 1 1

I've never given the lack of PA taunt a second thought. When I summon them within a spawn, they grab alpha aggro which is enough before I cast an aoe mez, which thanks to Gleam (HUGE upgrade from group invis) is up for every encounter. I suppose if I set out to do solo big game hunting (GM/AVs/Heroes) I might miss that taunt but I didn't so I don't. I'm not the biggest fan of the PA kd. Sometimes, and I wouldn't call it a rare occurrence, two kd effects strike simultaneously causing kb.

PA is invulnerable and with enough recharge, you can make it permanent. Permanent, invulnerable tanks on an AT that can dish out a lot of damage would definitely be a bit imbalanced. Personally I've never missed the taunt on my illusion dom. Would it be nice? Sure. Would it make a lot of stuff too easy for her? Definitely.
