One of my early mains was D/D/D (and D/D before the last one was a thing :p). I remember her being pretty tanky early on, but over time, not so much. I can solo just fine, but I'm also not one to try and solo a TF. This, it would be a nightmare and some people just like a quiet server sometimes.

Doesn't Hyper-V only emulate ye olde classic S3 Verge graphics? I know my old 90s game doesn't even play nice in it (last I remember trying). Now, If you've got a Win7 install and run the "XP Mode" emulator, then that might do something, but at that point just run Win7 (no, don't actually do that it's not secure online).

For the character creator (separate from game) app, yes. For the game itself, no way.

Heh, I have a file (From Live!) where I keep all of my character Bio's, thumbnails, etc. It made it Real easy rebuilding my alt list when HC came out.

When Rad came out, I made a couple characters that utilized Cyrillic for...reasons. 😛

Not sure what's being asked. I looked the term up and it has something to do with splitting GPU in VMs?

It was most assuredly discussed back on live, but (IIRC) the difference has to do with the variable type or something along those lines for coding purposes. Chat is easy because it's just a log basically, so it's essentially just plain text. The character names have to be easily searchable as well as able to be filtered (PG rating and all that), so while you may be typing text, it's being treated differently by the game. The Good thing is that you can do whatever you like (AFAIK) in your Bio, so while the name may not show what you like, the Bio likely can.

I doubt they're using a more elaborate CC for NPCs TBH. It's probably just a shading difference and interpretation of the costume creator's eyes.

It's not like I'm going to miss a bunch as I've been mostly just doing a combination of checking the site and (more recently) reporting bot accounts, but now I wonder if the latter is what somehow triggered this? It'd be cool to get unbanned, but if nobody sees this, then I guess it'll stand. Still kinda wierd to just have a random ban without warning.

I imagine because the downside would be that you can only trigger that single power / effect when doing so the 'normal' way. Whereas a Macro can do a few things in sequence.

Heh, GPUs are one of the components I Don't tend to change much over time as I always overspec (future proofing). 😛 As it stands, I have the 3770k's APU, an EVGA 970 FTW (in it's box), and the upgrade for it, an EVGA 3060ti (because I wanted one last EVGA).

Yeah, I was in PI for a few years in the mid-late 80s, so I got to see Voltron, Astro-Boy (B&W?), and quite a few others at the time.

My preferred Keyboard / Mouse combo for the longest of time are the Logitech K800 and Logitech Performance MX, but they're both discontinued and only getting more expensive over time. I've searched many times but can't seem to find decent replacement options that have the core features I'm wanting. Things I like about the Keyboard: Wireless (albiet a custom dongle) / Rechargable / Battery Swap Full 101 +10 key Quiet keys (OMG I hate 'tap tap tap' style keys!) Backlit / through the keys lighting / minimal around the keys light bleed Built-in palm rest Calculator button, Media Player Controls, Extensive Software-based key customization Things I like about the Mouse: Wireless (albiet a custom dongle) / Rechargable / Battery Swap Works on ANY surface, even glass! Extensive Software-based key customization Average / semi-light weight Palm-grip style Semi-Quiet buttons (OMG I hate 'CLICK' style buttons!) Custom side buttons (I use them to scroll pages and toggle tabs / windows) I've tried this keyboard, but it suffered from horrible light-bleed to the point that it could easily give me a migraine. I've tried the MX Master 2s and HATED the wheel. I tried the MX Anywhere 3s and it was way too small. I have small / average sized hands and it was entirely inside my grip, so clicking buttons was challenging. I might try the MX Master 3s, but I fear it'll basically be like the other one. One thing that I'm wondering about my current mouse is whether it's actually Too heavy for my hand or the grip style is actually leading to pain as my 2 right most fingers sit off to the side, basically only gripping the mouse. I know that if I use it too long I get a pain along the related tendons. I have a standard sized / style Logitech M500 Corded Mouse for when I was doing W@H, but while it was somewhat comfortable, it's wired and won't work in my bedroom. IDK, I may just have to order a bunch of both from eBay, test, and store them without batteries. I use my own rechargeables anyway and the only reason I'm looking (besides the occasional pain) is that the charging port on my current KB has been loose for a while. I think I may have Solved that by glueing a magnetic connector to the port and using the related cable adaptor, but eventually the KB itself will give out at some point. The mouse is probably my 4th one in 2 decades because the main buttons eventually wear out in the down position.
