Yep. I tend to do a quick scan of people on the teams since I like to know what we have on the team and every so often I'll see I put a note on the global.

Officially Unofficial Weekly Discussion #38: Speed Runs
lemming replied to SeraphimKensai's topic in General Discussion
11:XX is the fastest I've been on as well. Haven't actually tried a speed run in awhile. Tinpex is another good candidate since it's run so much that any actual content from it has been seen. Dr. Q I'm speedrunning every so often to break that 90 min solo time. 😉 -
Officially Unofficial Weekly Discussion #38: Speed Runs
lemming replied to SeraphimKensai's topic in General Discussion
To me, there are speed runs like getting an ITF down to less than 20 minutes (or 1/2 that), is just a different challenge. Some of the TFs have similar missions repeated, or have a bunch of kill alls. Those, you can then make the non-trudge missions into fast ones, is good. Manticore is definitely one of those with a couple missions with quick goals, but a bunch of defeat alls. I tend to go toward, least effort needed, but I'm usually good with fight thru to objectives. I don't have a strong opinion -
How to ruin it for your teammates in one easy power

Right. I was referring to the OP. We're all just guessing since there is clearly more info needed. -
How to ruin it for your teammates in one easy power
lemming replied to Techwright's topic in General Discussion
Oh yea, Dimensional Shift does weird things. Played around with it for a bit, but didn't find it worth pursuing. Didn't do anything to teammates toggles though. -
The wiki will list the zones: https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Pocket_D Hmm, some. not all of the connecting zones have the location of the entrances. However, all of them do show the entrance on the maps. You might need to check the map options that you have gates(?) turned on. Worst case, you can go into Pocket D and see where you come out.

How to ruin it for your teammates in one easy power

What TF were you doing? Yin perhaps? Are you sure you didn't get endurance drained? Possibly by a Super Stunner laying a field down which might explain why when you weren't in close, you didn't get hit by it? Though that doesn't explain the targeting issue. I don't think there's a power that a player can hit another with to phase shift them, but even if confused, that wouldn't explain the lack of targeting or toggles being dropped. -
Jump in that and it will shoot you to the next floating island...

You spin me right 'round- TPing in to Hami
lemming replied to JasperStone's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Not 100% sure, but you don't change facing when teleported. So if you are facing north, and are teleported just south of Hami, you'll be facing him. -
Correct, it's not available at all via Null. You go thru the door in the ski area to get there.

All my tankers take taunt, many of my brutes, and some of my scrappers. It gets mobs to come closer and has other benefits. I don't slot it very much that often, but do have a few with six slotted for various bonuses.

Yep. Got nailed as well. And at least one of the other one's did not get generic'd due to the name Barbie in their name, but not named in this thread. So, an earlier Rad/Rad Corrupter concept I was screwing around with is reborn; Schrodinger's Kitty. All sales of her action figure go to promoting science literacy.
-
I was mulling on it earlier and Barbieheimer is now on Everlasting as a Radiation Corrupter. And yes, pink...

Hmm, not sure if I forgot to mention, but it was some time ago. Praetorians can also go to the Atlas park from Null that has a Tram and get the Commuter badge if Resistance. And Shopkeeper is available in the Winter Village zone at the shack.

Well, if neither are lead, I think a popup saying "Hey, this person that you have on ignore is on the team or just joined the team" and maybe with the text from the note that hopefully got put in place. There are a couple people that I have almost put on ignore just because of their relentless chatter in general, but they're fine on teams. In theory, the worst offenders no longer play, and the pop up can let people decide if they want to stay. I also don't think mucking with the system is really worth it, but like I said, I don't have many on ignore. (A whole 21, and based on their global, I don't think many are still on)

Just noticed this thread after I started work on a Nature/Sonic Defender. I have no idea what I'm doing. 😄 It seems to have a bunch of buffs & debuffs for teaming. Already in my 30s and will probably screw around on beta a bit with different builds, but if someone has a suggestion to start with...

I'm avoiding doing a respec, so I'll attempt to translate this into a suggestion that at least looks like a suggestion. --- translate --- I like the psychic damage that one does with Perfect Zinger's : Chance to do Psychic Damage, but I think all taunts should do this automatically. This could be done with punchvoke's taunt as well, but I'm not sure if that would be appropriate. I also think it should act like Illusion's Spectral Wounds where the damage heals back over time quicker than normal regeneration. --- end --- What this doesn't address is powers that take taunt, like many powers such as Beta Decay. Should they do this, or should it just be actual taunt (and I assume provoke)? Personally, I don't think this is necessary since you can add Perfect Zinger to all powers that take taunt allowing this and I don't think it's a good use of dev resources. And kelika2, maybe when someone asks for clarification, try to clarify? You remind me of developers whose only answer to a user problem is "It works fine on my system"

About 25 of mine are now fully kitted out with another 25 getting close. I tend to switch between a bunch of characters depending on my mood. Since I don't play very much on Excelsior anymore, two dozen moved over to Everlasting and another dozen alts got made there. Some concepts are fun to play past 50, some are interesting to me only until they hit 50. I only have two characters with multiple builds and one is my badger with a ski slope build...

That sounds like a management nightmare in putting together teams. Leaving it just between leader and member I think is fine. Otherwise you have two members who probably won't chat with each other anyway denying a place to the other and making the team leader have to figure out who and why. And ignore can be done for a myriad of reasons, some which don't apply to teaming. I think a better solution is just have ignore turned off for team & league chat? If it's a solid reason (to the person) for the other to be on ignore, they can take whatever action. I should note, the only people I have on ignore are some of the people who spammed terrible stuff and probably no longer have accounts.

It's why I decided to cut down on the number of characters and really don't make as many alts. I ran all (~160) my characters thru halloween to get the Prismatics and afterwards felt that was silly. Currently holding myself at 100, but have 20 flagged for removal.
-
I'm in the process of trimming a few more characters out of my roster. Most of the ones were just running around with basic IOs at 50. Started another base for storage, but looks like I'm going to have to have a fire sale soon. It's also making all my current characters look more impressive for their portfolios. Hmm, may have to write a build parser just for adding up the number of various enhancements. (Or get Mids working...)

The only reason some of us understood what you meant was our long experience in either customer service or reading terrible programming specs.
