Yep. I haven't mapped them all to check to see where countdowns don't happen, but I haven't been too perturbed by having to wait.
Though if you logout while in a base, it's instant. And your char will get whatever day job they entered the base from assuming you went from the open world. If from an instance, you'll be logged off next to whereever the portal is in the zone.
You can from a portable workbench if you have the Mission Engineer Badge. Not from inside any other instance though such as inside bases

Or figure out the reason if it's not actually Linux. Don't know if TJ figured out his issue, but it did sound like a setting in his windows manager, not just an issue with their OS choice. Woo, just noticed I've been using various Linux distros for over 30 years now. 😉
"Doctor Doctor, my arm hurts when I lift it like this!"
"Don't lift your arm"
"I'm cured!"
So much this.
Cleanup characters: I give a vote toward Blasters, they don't have to move much to do so.
And I'm firmly against any sort of radius thing in missions, there are a few missions where it's a good thing to split up. Heck, while my friends and I are playing, we do that a lot to finish off objectives.
Scrapper-Battle Axe-Super Reflex ; very recent char, lots of fun
Mastermind-Beast-Electric Affinity ; Got one, it's alright
Brute-War Mace-Shield ; RNG is telling me to just play my alts... I have fairly new one at level 9 in Praetoria. just haven't decided if I'm just going to do one path
And there is content
I don't see much of an issue with the majority of the players. The nice thing is, one bad player usually doesn't screw up the entire show. Normally, just is another way to be a bit flexible. Sometimes, you nudge the player to not lockdown/knockback groups prematurely, sometimes you figure out a way around it.
There are enemy mobs where tactics do come more into play. (Or early builds)
You also may want to try out some smaller teams?
Echo: Galaxy does have two required items; Exploration Brawler for Freedom Phalanx accolade, and a Pupil history plaque for the Atlas Medallion
And yea, Galaxy was chopped due to redundancy and then the story got interrupted. You get a little more with Dr Grave (???) and Twinshots arcs of what is going on
I think it really depends on the team composition and there is no real hard rule on when the tank can zip off to start gathering up the next grouping.
Heck, last night, we had a brute bringing the next mob back to the team where the tank would then grab the agro, rinse, repeat. Mainly worked because of communication, which might really be what's needed instead of tacking on more mechanics.
Bubble next to your chat has a notoriety setting. (Or walk up to a Hero Corp Field Analyst and tell them you want to fight bosses when soloing)
It's not an AE setting
Just ran Founders and the only one I don't get a waypoint is for the PPD breakout as expected. Got a waypoint for the Arson, Warehouse deal, Hostage, and Pawn Shop.
And my version of vidiot maps (latest) shows the spawn locations; Red for PPD, Orange for Arson, Green for Pawn, Pink for Warehouse, Blue for Hostage
Not sure if related, but I looked at my logs, and noted this little line (Symphony/Electrical Affinity Controller)
"Reverberant: You knock Mending Mitochondria off their feet with your Amp Up!"
Issue 6: debt ceiling lowered by half: https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Issue_6
Issue 16: debt needed to pay off for badges lowered ; https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Patch_Notes/2009-09-15
On Red Blue accolades easier; Pretty sure two are easier on Blue, and two are easier on Red.
Only one I really take advantage of is the Invader badge since much faster to do the mayhem explorations than all the Blue TF. Though that has a lot to do with the Pork Lord being added for repeatable Mayhem missions.
I'll agree that Axe is End heavy.
Can't open the mids, but what I wound up doing with my Ax characters is they both run Cardiac and do have some sets slotted that give End Discounts. Plus Perf Shifters in the likely places. The scrapper isn't done yet, but currently runs pretty well for end purposes when not exemplared.
