  1. Ahem: https://forums.homecomingservers.com/code-of-conduct/
  2. Either this, or the ability to stuff them into a sack
  3. I have a bunch of characters on Excelsior. Won't be really able to test until next weekend maybe, since I am in the midst of a move.
  4. RNG is the most powerful cosmic entity
  5. I'm going to guess Dr Todd. The Brute must have lost Todd just before the teleport, though if you don't teleport Todd right to the door with ATT, she sometimes will run back to her doom. Especially if the person with her doesn't take the teleport. I have gotten annoyed at a Steamy Mist, etc... when someone did a driveby while I was escorting a hostage, but this was certainly not the case this time. Though we could do a test with several people. Have one subject at the door with stealth, have one with stealth grab Dr Todd and stand next to so she's still on the person, and another with AOE Stealth not by either. Then ATT and see if a failure happens because stealth adding up messes it up if Todd is one of the last ones teleported. It's a twitchy mission. And yea, while I'm one of those "I was on Beta!", it really doesn't mean that much. If anything, we're remembering how a power used to work.
  6. My favorite Storm is my Storm/Dark Sentinel. I do have a Storm/Cold Corruptor that's not bad. Neither is completely kitted out yet, so they should get better
  7. That was Flash in Luthor's body though.
  8. Since I was just comparing to SOs, it didn't seem worth it to compare to Set IOs that often have other benefits. A dual benefit set IO might look worse if you just compare the straight bonus, but depending on how many others from the set, yada yada yada. And then there's the whole comparison with HO (and related)
  9. a 50+5 IO gives a bonus of 53% vs a level 50 IO at 42.4% (smooth progression between +1 to +5 at ~2.12% per step) And for just completion sake, a 10+5 IO is worse than a level 15 IO. Not that anyone would waste boosters that way.
  10. Took a quick look at my chart: And yea, a level 40 IO beats any SO. A level 35 IO is equal to a +2 SO. 30 IO is almost as good as a +0 SO, a 25 IO is better than a -1 SO. One thing of interest, there's only a 5.7% difference between a level 35 IO and a level 50 IO. On the other hand, a 50+5 is 53% compared to a level 50 at 42.4%. Definitely not a smooth curve in progression for the IOs. And of course, ED complicates it a bit more. Just makes me feel better about not replacing any level 35 IOs with higher ones until I'm ready for sets
  11. Well, what I do. If my character is leveling up at a fast pace and that is my normal pace, I'll start slotting in generic IOs at 22-32. Usually I'm leveling them fairly adhoc without a clear plan, so just filling in the appropriate level IO as they come up. It's not worth the extra effort to replace with higher level ones. What usually happens at 50 is a respec and that's when I tend to put in the most thought of sets, etc... Though sometimes ATOs and some of the procs happens on the journey to 50. And I tend to have plenty of IOs in storage for this. On characters that are doing a more slow leveling (either because they're doing Praetoria, or I'm doing a hit all the contacts), I'll do SOs at +3, but also fill in sets when I can which tend to be attuned.
  12. I like Regen a bit more than WP on a Sentinel. My favorite Sent is a Rad/Regen. You're not that durable, but you recover from anything tossed at you, even if it knocks you down for a sec.
  13. Greetings! I am Miss NotYom, a minion of Lord Recluse. I have found a large stash of gold, hidden by the Gold Brickers in a boat in the harbor of Port Oakes. Unfortunately, since I am watched at all times, I can not pilot the ship to Independence Port to be able to sell off the gold. However, if I can get someone here that can pilot the ship for me, we can split the profit. All I need you to do, is send me a small amount of influence to purchase proper credentials, and we will rake in more influence than you can hold in one bank account.
  14. You'll show up at the same location, but mobs will be different
  15. I wouldn't say it's common, but there are Praetorians that run all the way to 50. And you can run First Ward & Night Ward fine without coming over to Primal. One thing they can't do once they finish their last Praetoria arc is change between Loyalist & Resistance.
  16. Yea, I have never seen that Ascendant bubble anyone, just turtle up. Now, if it was the Marchand arc, those guys are annoying with it. And he did mention it was that particular mission of the Yin, so no Super Stunners involved.
  17. You won't have to check your email so much?
  18. Hard pass on AT specific badges. Eight of one AT: "Homogenized" Eight of a theme: "Close enough" On themed runs: Some themes are more malleable, but some characters may not be in a theme bucket easily. Some powersets like Fire, Ice, Dark, easy. However, Claws, Superstrength, Regen? (and such, lots of options there for ~3000 combos, not counting Powerpools, Patron, and Epic. And then there are the occasional "Aliens! Green!", runs.
  19. And, if you have a base hospital, if you zone back via the entry portal (not the zone portal) you should appear back at the same spot
  20. Every once in awhile, I'll get stuck rotating and hitting the same direction will stop it from continuing.
  21. Weird. There still isn't anything a teammate can do to drop your toggles. And yea, combat logs may help. I save all mine to file and tend to check those when something happens that I would like to disbelieve. usually it's "Wow, that was a lot of damage in that attack..."
  22. Yep. I tend to do a quick scan of people on the teams since I like to know what we have on the team and every so often I'll see I put a note on the global.
  23. 11:XX is the fastest I've been on as well. Haven't actually tried a speed run in awhile. Tinpex is another good candidate since it's run so much that any actual content from it has been seen. Dr. Q I'm speedrunning every so often to break that 90 min solo time. 😉
  24. To me, there are speed runs like getting an ITF down to less than 20 minutes (or 1/2 that), is just a different challenge. Some of the TFs have similar missions repeated, or have a bunch of kill alls. Those, you can then make the non-trudge missions into fast ones, is good. Manticore is definitely one of those with a couple missions with quick goals, but a bunch of defeat alls. I tend to go toward, least effort needed, but I'm usually good with fight thru to objectives. I don't have a strong opinion
  25. Right. I was referring to the OP. We're all just guessing since there is clearly more info needed.
