And yes, there is stuff being worked on, that you can find out by joining a discord channel. Not very difficult, I did so today even though apparently I didn't click on the right thing... A ton of stuff did get released in a flurry of activity last year, some due to dev timing issues. All in all, I'm pretty happy with their releases and the servers seem to be getting more stable which is nice. There are some functions that other servers have implemented that sound cool and maybe I'll go check them out again at some point.

It's an odd power, but once you learn to use it, it's handy. It's like Ki Push or the sonic push. Mitigates a bit. My only complaint now about it is it will knock stuff back further than your range.

Come to think of it, my Ice/Ice tanker holds agro like someone triple dogged dared the mobs to lick her. I might need to check my SR tanker for agro checks.

Yomo, I think you got it. These weren't things that were expected to be bought in the amounts that were done during the winter sales here.

Really depends on what I'm doing or feeling. I don't run much solo at +4/x8 if it's not for power leveling some other character since it's more of a slog usually. At lower than 50 stuff while solo, I tend to run it at basic level just because I'm either doing it for the story, or just to do it. Once I get Incarnate Level shifts, +1 for almost all non-incarnate and matching the shift with incarnates. I'll often make sure bosses are on, maybe beef up the numbers though.

I solo my blasters a lot and while there's a bit of face planting in the early levels, at 50, they can blow through +4/x8 areas pretty well as long as you're willing to push the envelope. That is at least with fairly maxed builds. On non-optimum, they're still pretty good for non max content. On teams, they're great fire support, just let someone else grab the agro. Sentinals aren't that weak. They do a bit less damage, but their survivability more than makes up for having to hit someone twice. A lot of successful playing comes down to learning where you can let loose, and when to be a little careful. And there will be a lot of dying while you learn that, but that's just another badge. I don't trust level 50s that don't have the Exalted (or equivalent) Badge.

That would be nice. I've occasionally gone thru the randomizer and saved a costume. Once went thru and edited together one by grabbing the various parts. This way would be easier. 😄

You could go with and Ice Electric combo? I'm not sure what to suggest as the primary... I've done each in attack and defense and they hold up well, each has some nifty features. Though if I was to make another melee based on this, I'd go with Electric Melee and Ice Armour. Only reason I'm not is I don't have a name lined up this second, and I've got about a dozen Alts I'm working on...

While Regen on Tanks would be cool, I'd like Regen to be overhauled first, then ported. Regen got downgraded and then hit by system wide changes making it worse. It's still viable in current form, but I do think other powersets do better.

On some of my Tanks, I do, but their purpose is survival and taunting. Pretty sure on my other ATs, never.

Quick question on Name Release on character Transfers for @Number Six If I transfer a character from one server to another, currently if the name is taken, yours get a number added on. What happens if the character in question has "timed out" their reserve? And do we cascade down the line checking each time? 2nd question is more from a QA point of view. If Wolverclone goes from Excelsior to Everlasting, and Wolverclone, Wolverclone1, Wolverclone2, Wolverclone4 have logged in recently, but Wolverclone3 hasn't, what name does the transferred Wolverclone get?

I think making an assumption that most 50s were PL'd isn't helping your argument. And I agree that 50s should be subject to a timer.

I forgot to mention, I'd love it to be tied to account activity, but the Devs have said why that's not a viable option at this time. And yes, I'm in the "If you care about the character name, you can do a little housekeeping" camp. The only issue I see is if someone is unexpectedly unable to login near the end of the year for housekeeping which hopefully is rare. And like said, the name gets taken if someone uses the name at character creation.
