I think PI is the fave since you have the motel with a bunch of doors next to the hospital. There may be a similar spot in Kalisti, but RWZ would need you to get out of the base if defeated.

Just tried one of my new characters out and happened to login just at the start of the banner stuff. Only got one of the banner badges, did get the complete table. Several people complained of lack of badges, but there were more than one league going too. (Everlasting) I think it's still working like last year, but it's still annoying since the banners are the ones that take more work and time. Oddly, I didn't even go for the GM Spawns, but got those badges with the Court. And someone who was fighting them from a different team on the league did not. (which might mean something is funky)

It does seem off that you wouldn't get any of them. I do know the reward table isn't tied to the same calculation having gotten the table, but not the badge. (last year) Did anyone new get the badges? I'll be running some of my newer characters later today, but just been catching up my "all but the five new ones" chars first, but maybe I'll run one of those now to see.

Ok. Playing around a bit and I'm 99% sure each file is for each character. Pretty sure that each is a mask of what has been uncovered, but file structure is a bit of a mystery. Based on my limited sample set, I'm thinking it's by zone visited, and each covered or not. Deleting the file will just reset all fogs of war, but it will take a bit of work to figure out how to do it selectively. That can be done by logging the character you wish to reset in, logging out and the latest file will be for that character.

I do know that your team (not just league) has to do enough damage to each banner for you to be able to get those badges. Last year, had to run several times to get them if the league went after them separately.

The folder is Homecoming/accounts/<Account Name>/maps and then you have a series of files with a vm2 extension. I think each file is for a character, but that's just a theory.

I click auto-accept, but except for one char (concept reason), I don't deny any. I tend to get Inspiration, then Mutation, then Mystic. I have a long term goal of getting the kill shot on the Rikti Drop Ship with a monkey slap.

That would be my guess. I think the boom price was from them being new and people going for the associated badges more than the costumes themselves. I suppose there maybe some people going for all the costumes.

Reminds me of being kicked from a team because I wasn't Empathy, but Kinetics. (Way back on early live) Only recent experience with that was an ITF where I wasn't welcome because I didn't have set bonuses. (I was 50 with generic 50 IOS) Wasn't even a special run I'd just ignore it. It's a rare PUG that gets picky unless it's for a specific TF goal. Maybe you got unlucky and the people running had a bad experience with a FF and they blame the powerset instead of the player? (Hopefully not the reverse)

As someone who started playing on Everlasting a few months ago. There are definitely more RP people. One of my friends is way more into it when he came back, so that's where he wanted to be. For my purposes, Excelsior & Everlasting are interchangeable, I can find the "same" group dynamic on both. From your post description though, Everlasting should do you better. And, I just noted this was a post from August. How are you finding it now that you've had a month to check it out more?

Praetorians can do most of the instanced trials. (Cathedral of Pain, iTrials, SBB) Makes Echo Plaza handy. One thing I noted that they can not do is an Orou mission with a Primal. They can't be on a team with a Primal in a base. (Which can cause issues elsewhere) However, they have zero issue teaming with Primals as long as no one pops into their base.

Or they removed Mercy's to match blueside removal since they were also putting in the redside gathering spot.

I have a spreadsheet specifically for DayJob acquisition. I'm glad they dropped the time from 7 days to 100 hours. And out of 110 chars, ten fairly recent characters are still working toward it. 3200 hours or 134 days to get all of them (not counting patrol) Usually it takes me a bit longer since perfect matching up would be a little too CDO and of course, you're not gaining dayjobs while actually playing. (Though just noted one char has only been in existance for 137 days and will complete tomorrow) After they're done, I do what Uun does, collect up the more useful temp powers. The spreadsheet is more than just dayjobs, but I think that's where it all started back on live.

Yea, I've been stuck on a 2012 laptop since May so I didn't get any real testing done and feel I still haven't really felt out all the changes. I don't think I'm the only one that felt this page had a lot more to test than usual. At least I should be coming out of the dark ages in computer hardware soon.
