Sins of the Devs are visited upon the players
lemming replied to The_Warpact's topic in General Discussion
For most players, 6.3B is a large amount of influence. If you consider it a pittance, then yea, you're getting higher returns at a much higher rate than normal play. I play a decent amount, but I don't try to max my influence return, it's not what I find interesting. If I want to outfit a character it just takes me a few days of screwing around either seeing which characters have the recipes needed, or a bit of converter roulette. I do have 99 50s, most are just outfitted with generic IOs, and between drops etc, it's not a big deal. Occasionally I'll build up some influence via AH crafting, etc... I probably have 2-4B influence total in liquid inf. For the aethers, I doubt I'll bother buying any and will just build them up via the occasional HM and other methods to get the badges, then will see how the other tiers get priced. 150 is doable and an alright amount of effort. Like I said earlier (or maybe elsewhere) on the number of aethers needed for costumes, the tier 1s seem to be at an OK price, the other tiers first proposed prices are more inflated. -

Yoma gave the math, Luminara punctuated it. 0.98^50 gives 36% chance of you not getting one during the streak. I got blessed by RNG the other day by getting three Prismatic's in six missions, but the RNG is a fickle beast and none of my other characters has had one drop at the end of a mission. 😉 -
I think it would make the final mission at least somewhat interesting outside the flyers that go and grab her, but yea, you'd need to build up some pitchfork defense and resists.
-
Why? You don't get Aethers via AE runs either. I assume the reasoning is that under 50s don't get Notice of the Wells either. You still get a huge XP bonus and maybe they'll add the Aethers to the reward.
-
It's great way to level, just not for getting Prismatics. (Note, several people have suggested that Aethers should be given to non-50s as well)

Name Release Policy - Feedback and Suggestions

Note: This is an old thread. Also, just renaming characters does not reset the timer. And, for the more recent discussion, check the Beta Feedback thread -
I find the most merits I get are with my AOE blasters. Melee tends to get a lower number. I don't know what numbers I'd get standing around though.

Auction House works cross shard Just checked and numbers changed barely between Reunion, Everlasting, and Excelsior. 23-24m, 234-240 for sale, and ~6900 bidding

She was doing it years before Deadpool even existed. John Byrne's run from the 80s -
Current list, and I do have a large number of tankers & scrappers for some of the other combos or just to see Electricity/Electricity First brute on live and recreated. I don't play them near enough. Kinetic Melee/Energy Aura Another reroll, if you can get past KM, fun build Savage Melee/Bio Armor I'm just not into Savage Melee Street Justice/Willpower Fun combo, though I play the tanker version more Martial Arts/Willpower Prefer SJ Staff/Bio So many different stances.... Radiation/Radiation Experiment. I'm just not into Rad Melee Battle Axe/Regeneration Another experiment, and Regen is still quite gimped IMO Energy Melee/Bio This combo worked really well. Solo'd this one up to 50 Claws/Dark Armor More of a fun concept character and with DA needs better end management. But Bubblegum Beast does look like a wad of chewing gum Claws/Fiery Aura One of my farmers, but been playing it outside AE a lot lately. (I'm a fan of claws) Spines/Fiery Aura The main farmer, but fun outside of it. Spines/Stone Armor Haven't played with it enough

So many that haven't been respec'd yet. And I like infiltration. -
When they're trees, they don't take damage but as soon as they start animating, they can take damage. Rain of fire will start to do stuff though I think the first tick is ignored. Freakshow rez, PBAOEs can hit them before you can target. Pets also get to shoot them before players.

On page releases forcing respecs. I can see that as an issue since I hate rebuilding characters. A better respec interface would be my ideal, but I understand why it hasn't been tackled since I hate UI design... So far, the only time I've wanted to respec was with the travel power updates. Though it did get me to rebuild a couple chars as well, so overall better. There have been a few tactics changes such as when fast snipe range was reduced. -

Just noticed that at line 15848 you have an extra quote mark. Menu "By Zone Name"" Was checking a log file and noticed the game client complained about it.

Tier one: 10/15 Tier Two: 300/450 Tier Three: 1000/1500 (Mini & Blob) That said, they weren't going to be setting the price until release, so it might be lower. (or possibly higher) I'd be happier with costs at tier two being 100/150 and maybe if they want Tier three to be rare, 250/375 As it is, very few of my characters will bother even though I want to. (Looks like for my timeline, I'll get my badger enough in six weeks with my playstyle. I know the Tier Three are supposed to be "Oh Wow", but I'll be going "Oh Wow, that was a long grind" Feedback thread with Cobolt's responses noted:

I'd be more inclined to allow buying of the prestige costumes via Emp Merits. And allowing a limited Emp -> Reward merits with a cooldown, but that's separate thing.

No More Empyrean Merits to Reward Merits

Economies of scale, and yea, if there's a math loophole, it will probably get fixed. -
Maybe some way of front loading survivability in an encounter. Maybe the more fury builds, the lower the Def/Resist Cap, but at zero Fury, they'd be nearly untouchable. And probably start their damage a little higher and with a bigger damage cap for fury as well to somewhat make up for that. Not sure how workable this could be, I can see a few issues just now. Just noted Troo said a similar

No More Empyrean Merits to Reward Merits

Related to a host of farms that were set at level 49 and some double dipping influence techniques iirc. -
Posi does stuff until he's taken out, but then heals back up and follows you around. I always do the option where I go it without them since the NPCs tend to annoy me.

Remove damage from Impassioned Serenade
lemming replied to Greycat's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I'm only into the 20s with my symphony controller and it did take a little adjustment for me to use it, but now it's not a bad little power. Sure it's not a way to get around an alpha, but it does send someone off elsewhere and they'll occasionally just keel over after a bit. I do think I'm enjoying my Illusion Controller that I had started work on before P4 a little more. -
BenevoLabs NPC ads play randomly in some Mr. G arc missions
lemming replied to Fira's topic in Bug Reports
Interesting, I just noted it happening in the last mission of the Positron 1 TF [NPC] BenevoLabs Hologram Vendor: Greetings! Interested in drastically changing how you look? BenevoLabs has an offer that provides just what you need.
