I'm avoiding doing a respec, so I'll attempt to translate this into a suggestion that at least looks like a suggestion. --- translate --- I like the psychic damage that one does with Perfect Zinger's : Chance to do Psychic Damage, but I think all taunts should do this automatically. This could be done with punchvoke's taunt as well, but I'm not sure if that would be appropriate. I also think it should act like Illusion's Spectral Wounds where the damage heals back over time quicker than normal regeneration. --- end --- What this doesn't address is powers that take taunt, like many powers such as Beta Decay. Should they do this, or should it just be actual taunt (and I assume provoke)? Personally, I don't think this is necessary since you can add Perfect Zinger to all powers that take taunt allowing this and I don't think it's a good use of dev resources. And kelika2, maybe when someone asks for clarification, try to clarify? You remind me of developers whose only answer to a user problem is "It works fine on my system"

About 25 of mine are now fully kitted out with another 25 getting close. I tend to switch between a bunch of characters depending on my mood. Since I don't play very much on Excelsior anymore, two dozen moved over to Everlasting and another dozen alts got made there. Some concepts are fun to play past 50, some are interesting to me only until they hit 50. I only have two characters with multiple builds and one is my badger with a ski slope build...

That sounds like a management nightmare in putting together teams. Leaving it just between leader and member I think is fine. Otherwise you have two members who probably won't chat with each other anyway denying a place to the other and making the team leader have to figure out who and why. And ignore can be done for a myriad of reasons, some which don't apply to teaming. I think a better solution is just have ignore turned off for team & league chat? If it's a solid reason (to the person) for the other to be on ignore, they can take whatever action. I should note, the only people I have on ignore are some of the people who spammed terrible stuff and probably no longer have accounts.

It's why I decided to cut down on the number of characters and really don't make as many alts. I ran all (~160) my characters thru halloween to get the Prismatics and afterwards felt that was silly. Currently holding myself at 100, but have 20 flagged for removal.

I'm in the process of trimming a few more characters out of my roster. Most of the ones were just running around with basic IOs at 50. Started another base for storage, but looks like I'm going to have to have a fire sale soon. It's also making all my current characters look more impressive for their portfolios. Hmm, may have to write a build parser just for adding up the number of various enhancements. (Or get Mids working...)

The only reason some of us understood what you meant was our long experience in either customer service or reading terrible programming specs.

Three accounts at a time per shard. So in theory, you could run 15 accounts simultaneously on the five shards if they're all populated at less than 1600. (And other exceptions) And that person was breaking the code with four on one shard. Stuff you learn from some of the farm debates, though it's in the code of conduct. And I guess one could have even more accounts, though I have no idea why one would.

It's been awhile since I've seen really terrible stuff, but yea, I just report their global and move on. Maybe with a "yea, that's a report" Part of it may be that Excelsior tends to attract those more often and I hang out on Everlasting the most. They probably just go to the largest population to stir. Our GMs are good at knocking them out when pointed out.I

I'd just go with csv since text is lower overhead and people can import into whatever. Not like most don't import pretty much any of the popular current formats. Pretty sure it's a non-starter anyway from what I remember being talked about in the name release thread.

What would be cool would be a character spreadsheet that could be queued up and sent to you (maybe during server maint function), but I'm guessing there's some DB oddness that can get in the way. Probably some info garnered from one of the other character selection screen debates we've had.

I think a lot of people don't want to go thru converter roulette. Come to think of it, that's one way I have been collecting inf is when I'm trying to convert to something not that valuable and something very marketable comes up, I sell that and buy the item that I wanted in the first place.

Be like the nature of water was the reason my character "Fistful of Rain" blaster did Water/Ninjitsu (Name from a Zevon song though)

Most of my extra inf is in email now and a bunch of hero and trans merits. I have a few characters that have large stocks of merits on them. Not sure of the totals anymore.

I had a Dual Pistols/Devices blaster for a bit based on him.

I wouldn't copy settings until after you check to see if it worked. (heck, I wouldn't copy anything until after spinning up at least one login) Two other directories are costumes & powercust

Patch Notes Discussion for June 7 Minor Update
lemming replied to The Curator's topic in Patch Notes Discussion
A) Weird spot to put a suggestion/ultimatum B) Discussed to death elsewhere. -
yea, it's the exact buff across the different levels (and whether you use the Magic or Tech empowerment)

When you had to repeat, did someone quit the TF during the mission? If so, that's a known problem and yes, everyone logging off and back in is the workaround. (or having a GM kick it...)

Current official number on Homecoming as of the last issue is 1600. There are a few badges that do not count toward the total such as Bug Hunter. (ATC covers this above) There will be more added. 3200 hours for Dayjobs, so 19 weeks, 8 hours. If you get your timing perfect. (Patrol can be gotten during the rest of the collection)

They weren't active that long on live is what I remember, but I do remember the folded in 1/2 stuck in a wall being common enough.

On a slight tangent: I tend to have a couple characters designated as influence holders, though they don't have that much on them. The rest of my characters tend to add to 500m chunks in my email. Once it hits 500m, we start a new email until it builds up. New characters and ones needing to buy off the AH pull from the latest, though I rarely use up the running one. Every so often, I'll use up a couple and buy a bunch of super packs. I also have a couple chars that hold onto recipes that I haven't crafted yet, but I'm getting a bit better of just crafting and storing then in the base now.
