That's some work to reward ratio you've got going there.

I've rushed a lot of characters to 50 because the Mids' build beckoned me. I'll use the occasional lunchtime to run my new tank through S/L farms for funsies. I'm currently running a new character through Praetoria without double XP to take in the storyline, and I'll be skipping the boosts once she hits the Isles as well. I'm thinking of doing a future blueside story only run as well. I run with folks that stop their XP progression so they can finish the storyline and others that do mini-arena PvP. Truth is, there's multiple ways to play this game and all are valid.

I build for most attacks even with Hasten since I like to exemplar from time to time. My proc bombed defenders are an exception, but they'll probably be spamming more heals than usual.

It... depends? If you wait on your Judgement cooldowns and probably if you're using Pyro/Ion/Vorpal instead of the PBAoEs, I could see it.

Followup: Re-discovering why I wasn't playing goldside. Big open rooms full of yellow conning minions with stuns at level 7. It finally forced me to grab the offensive amplifiers just so I could land hits.

I'm curious as to how easy a time a MM would have in Preatoria. I went brute because Fury makes for free damage buffs before you can fully slot out, I've also thought a blaster and stalker would have a better time there as well with their insta-kills, crits, and defiance buffs.

I'm soloing Goldside. Admittedly, this was resurrecting a Praetorian alt from Virtue, but so far it hasn't been that awful. It helps that she's now a claws/regen brute, though I'm regretting not getting the offensive boosters while they were cheaper. You don't realize how much you miss not having the DFB accuracy boost until you don't have it. So, anyone else dusting off stuff they haven't done since Live?

None, really, I'm too old to yell at people being wrong online. I poke holes in arguments, then throw 'em on the ignore list if they still don't get it.

Okay, you're never using those enhancements at 50. Oh hey, I play Guild Wars 2! PvP gear is free so that everyone's builds are on an even level. Now do WvW and PvE and oh right, you have to earn your gear the old-fashioned way (or by throwing money at the screen). So, zero for two. Thoughts and prayers and best wishes on your future trying to whine your way to free stuff on some other server.

I have 13 (14?) 50s, and 4 more projects that I know are on their way there someday. Of my 50s, I usually go with whoever I'm hyperfixating on now. Though, I have to admit most of my melee time now is on my newest tank, but again hyperfixation go whee.

You'd have to consider torching the cottage because who needs those T9s when IOs and incarnates can get you there without any hard crash?

It took me ten seconds of the trailer and a trip to Massively to find out I'd be paying box and sub for some N64 level graphics. Maybe if they ever drop the sub.

And once again we go straight to tankers vs brutes because the only metric that matters is breaking the Skinner box with speed clearing.

I'd explain that tankers primary is stronger than brute secondary, and that tankers get more out of +dmg% than brutes, but I figure you know that already and I'll just leave you to your wallowing over it taking a little longer to clear a spawn.

I went to Champions Online after the sunset to get my superhero MMO itch fixed. They had public events there much like, say, the Council War Walker or the Vale War, but with a noted difference: The game kept track of how much you 'participated' in the event and displayed the scores at the end. Oh, the forum drama over healers not having their heals scored or controls scored or that this build was always dominating and ... sounds familiar, right? Or, alternatively, ever see The King of Kong? High scores are serious business.
