As for pay off debts. That, right there, is the largest benefit of ANY of winning an amount of money. Being debt-free gives you SO many options it's not even funny. A couple mil? I'd continue working. I'd simply move to a more flexible schedule. My bosses love me. And they're gamers to boot. The first year I worked for them. Also, this was the year they let me go to Origins at LITERALLY *after* the last minute... So being flexible actually works well for all of us. I honestly don't WANT to retire until I absolutely HAVE TO. Mainly because the #1 killer of retired people is retirement (idleness) itself. That year off I mentioned was when I left my nursing job and finally moved into IT full time. It was nice for a few weeks. After that, I was ready to take a gas station job. Just to have something to do!

I haven't played a lot of /Dark/ And I tend to avoid "attacks" that aren't actively dealing Damage (save Taunt). I know, I know. It's a failing...

No. Not your starting point. What is the end point of running your own server setup?

Get your hands on the code. Rent or build a virtual host beefy enough to handle multiple virtual client machines. Set the software up. What specific endpoint are you trying to achieve?

Rue the day....

Yep. I basically toss in Hurl to make the base build more Epic-Agnostic. You can sub in other things for ranged attacks and the set bonuses that ride with them. Hyper sports LBE.

Since when has 90% Resist to Tox and Psi been "Tolerable"? I'd call it effing great! No problem man! Glad you're enjoying it so much...

what did the great server crash of 2021 inspire you to do?

🤣🤣😂🤣 What? You've never moisturized old leather boots that way? -
I've played out capped-out Elec/Elec. And "Energizer Bunny" is just the term I'd use. Basically look on whatever Defense you slather on as expendable, The ridiculous Resist numbers make up for it.

CoH runs just fine on Windows 10. And the HC Loader makes it STUPID EASY.

Here's a stab.

One of us! One of us! One of us!

As noted: Try to game on wired LAN when possible. Lowest local latency, no interference, etc. Also, if your ISP is having DNS issues, you can add additional DNS servers. Control Panel Network & Sharing Center Change Adapter Settings Highlight your network connection (Ethernet or Wifi), then right-click and select PROPERTIES Highlight Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Select PROPERTIES Click on Advanced Go to the DNS tab Add additional DNS servers. Primary and secondary. https://www.lifewire.com/free-and-public-dns-servers-2626062 OK your way back out. Reboot your machine. There's ways to make it refresh without a reboot. But the reboot's the simplest, most idiot-proof way.

What the Hell happened to Razer Mice?
Hyperstrike replied to Solarverse's topic in General Discussion
Honestly, I can say I've been following Razer since they weren't even in production. To be quite honest, their stuff has ALWAYS been delicate crap. They were at GenCon 1998 with one display unit and two demo units. On day 1, both demo units were thrashed and in pieces. When I got around to reviewing them once they were in full production, I had two units broken on arrival, and the third lasted less than a week. I've looked at their products over the years, and they're all that way. They're boutique garbage, and I can't recommend ANYONE spend actual money on them. My "go to" brands for Mice are Logitech and Steel Series these days. There's nothing QUITE like the Razer wide-front mice. But as I've said, the underlying hardware's crap. My current mouse is a Steel Series Rival 310. I used to have one of the Steel Series Sensei mice (the nice rubberized exterior). Lost it after I had the Windows Hardware Manager on my system (at the time) go belly up. (Mouse would randomly stop working, re-plugging didn't work, software reinstall didn't work, but plugging a different mouse in did. At least at first.) By the time I'd figured out what happened, I'd thought it was just a bad mouse and replaced it. -

Someone stops me from trying to play more than one Tank, I do my Tankly duty by walking up and shaking hands with THEIR FACE! Taunting mercilessly the entire time.

Avast blocking forums as a phishing site.
Hyperstrike replied to Bionic_Flea's topic in Help & Support
Remember, antivirus solutions are ENTIRELY reactionary. They don't detect ANYTHING without massive, byzantine "definition" files. And on occasion, perfectly innocuous things happen to resemble malicious code JUST enough to trip one of these definitions.
