  1. I have a 50 grav/kin. I mainly treat the grav attacks like blasts. I find myself using the grav powers to better position enemies so I can maximize the kinetics powers.
  2. Maybe the heroes that appear to be in multiple locations are Nemesis automatons... anyone check either Ms. Liberty for gears & cogs?
  3. Brutes need a kind of "no sell" ability when sufficiently furious - some sort of "ignores debuffs" effect, which prevents them from being slowed down, knocked aside, etc. It'd also be funny to give them a sort of knockdown effect if they're moving into any weaker enemies, (maybe only if moving faster than some baseline speed)...
  4. That's not necessarily true, and if the MM had a healing aura or other such buff(s) that they could put on autofire, or simply could be left toggled on, then that'd cover that hole. Further, you are assuming that these infinitely spawning enemies would be able to attack fast enough or with great enough damage to overcome the aforementioned toggles/auto-power...
  5. I am currently leveling such a build. I went with Leviathan Mastery for the extra AoEs and its boss-tier pet. I was only able to fit in 3 defense powers for the luck of the gambler +recharge rate IOs, so I won't have maxed-out recharge, but the pets are available quite often. The spiderlings have the shortest cooldown, so I treat them as the expendable fight-opener. I tend to drop my pets right on enemies, as it can be a bit annoying to try and "drag them" to them, but I am mostly self-sufficient. You could double-dip and also take leadership if you really wanted to buff your pets, but I prefer using them more as a distraction while I blast away with all my debuffs and AoEs...
  6. I'd be for allowing confused mobs to get you XP if all other mobs near them would attack them back in retaliation and if it got you aggro.
  7. Gotta do zombies/thermal - for flaming zombie goodness!
  8. If such a changer were implemented, I'd rather it be confined to local, or team chat, and possibly tells, but please not in broadcast, lfg, general, or any such wide-reaching/global chat channels.
  9. Right - to prevent AFK farming, the likes of which could also be accomplished by parking your MM minions with an aggressive stance or such...
  10. That's also kind of why mobs from "enemy generators" like some CoT portals don't give XP, either.
  11. I suggested this not too long ago. My presumption is that they'd likely have to impose some restrictions on what sets you can pair with it, like no AR, BR, DP, archery. If that's the case, and since shield lacks a self heal, something like dark or water blast would seem like a natural fit. That being said, since I already have several characters with dark and water blast, I'd probably want to go with something different - maybe ice or elec blast. I haven't gotten into energy blast because of the knockback, but it could make for an interesting pairing as well...
  12. I may have posted a character by the same name before, but this is a slightly different take, on a different server: "Agent Aurum":
  13. The problem is that the confused enemy is still of a different faction than the player. You'd have to create some mechanism by which they temporarily become an ally while confused - more of a charm power than a confused one. IIRC, dealing like at least 10% of the damage will still net you the XP.
  14. I thought I remember fighting dark fluffies and phantasms, even after their Master Illusionist summoner was defeated...
  15. Peacebringers and Warshades get eyebeam attacks, as do a few ATs in their APPs. That being said, (and as long as the animation times line up), I'd be down to have eyebeams added as alternate animations for a few other powersets...
  16. I could be misremembering, but I vaguely recall it was that way because the enemy-created pseudopets don't track their caster/owner like player ones do - they're just separate entities that happened to have been created by another NPC using a power. If that is the case, then a simpler adjustment would be to give them a relatively short timer, after which they simply despawn.
  17. So if you've ever made a character with the crab spider backpack then go and use a flight power, you may notice that the legs kind of aim downward and kind of do this repeating flailing or flicking animation. If, however, you press spacebar/jump while continuing to move forward, they kind of angle to be more in line with the direction you are moving and take on a more aggressive and static pose. I'd love to have that second positioning of the arms be a selectable fly pose. Thanks for reading!
  18. The issue, also, is that stats like "damage dealt" don't take into consideration, for instance, how much more damage everyone did because of a damage buff or resistance debuff, so only the damage dealer would get credit. There's also no real way to track how player A's defense buff or healing prevented player B from being defeated, thereby allowing them to keep on fighting. How would you track a tanker or brute's taunt saving the squishies from defeat? There's too many factors for "damage dealt' or "healing performed" to be meaningful in any objective sense. I mean, heck, imagine a team intentionally leaving an enemy healer alive just so they can up their total damage dealt rating...
  19. Yeah - but he's redundant and in a very lightly visited section. Move him to a place of prominence...
  20. It'd be cool to do some sort of monthly competition to gain that temporary honor - perhaps alternating between costume contests, bio contests, AE, SG bases, and so on...
  21. I'm not necessarily against the idea, (maybe BABs?), but different zones also represent a different time in your character's career, so Ms. Liberty isn't in 2 places at the same time inasmuch as she's moved around just as you have...
  22. The problem I have with the way that Kraven is depicted in the trailer is that, being an antihero/ villain, he is guaranteed to run into multiple "why don't you just kill him" scenarios; For heroes, it's understandable why they don't just slit some bad guy's throat right away, but if he leaves even 1 opponent alive, without really really good reason, I'd have to throw my hands up and balk at any further situations he runs up against due to those (in)actions...
  23. *If* you use kick in your normal attack rotation, then have at it! If it sits on your bar mostly unused, then give it a pass...
  24. Turn them off in combat. Outside of combat, (unless you're running a ton of toggles), natural recovery will exceed the cost of running ninja run and the like...
  25. You use the phrase "have to", but the only thing compelling you to take weave "after hundreds" is yourself. Try branching out your builds. I assure you, weave is *not* required...
