  1. Defenders don't get an ice APP either, so maybe it's to keep with some kind of parity, there?
  2. Ancillary Power Pools and Patron Power Pools. The former become available at level 35, and the latter have the same minimal level, but require you complete a short mission arc with one of the 4 Arachnos lieutenants, (Captain Mako, Ghost Widow, Black Scorpion, or Scirocco). For reference: APPs PPPs
  3. That's the 5th Column that do that, not the Council.
  4. IIRC, the early builds of the game had origin play a more significant role, which didn't go over well, and resulted in them ditching that aspect. Keep it to some sort of arena setting, with no unique rewards, and I'd be fine with it. Absolutely not, especially if such a defeat can result from lag, a DC, or the actions/inactions of a teammate.
  5. In general, many of the older TFs could use some love - be it by varying the maps, objectives, or by just generally streamlining them. The problem is that there are also players that like that O.G. feel. Maybe keep them as-is via Ouroboros, and introduce an updated version, like was done with some other ones...
  6. I would mainly want to see a graphical overhaul, but staying within the same design aesthetic. The biggest thing, for me, would be complete power customization - you want to fire dark blasts from a gun? You got it! You want to represent energy blasts with a "hard light" construct of yourself appearing next to the enemy to hit them? Can-do! I'd love to see the storyline carried forward, and events from CoH acknowledged - like maybe the Rikti Mothership has finally been dealt with, or the "Coming Storm" has actually arrived. What I wouldn't want to see is a full freeform system, as it resulted in very bland "tank mages" over in Champions Online. I'd also like to stray away from making player characters Incarnates right from the get-go - make it something you still have to unlock in the end game.
  7. I want a tiny Rularuu Overseer as a head option...
  8. Grade K meat: Mostly circus animals, some filler.
  9. That I can get behind...
  10. Frankly, allowing hook or stump hands has already opened the floodgate for the kinds of "hands" that can utilize weapons, so I can't really object to this...
  11. Perhaps there is a disconnect somewhere. A "strut" requires a degree dexterity or "style" that I do not believe can be properly portrayed by a humanoid model on all fours...
  12. You may push me around But you cannot win You may throw me down But I'll rise again The more you say The more I defy you So get out of my face Woo! Yeah!
  13. Part of the issue, IMHO, is that with almost all sets proliferated to all relevant ATs, it now becomes a matter of which inherent/ATO/APP/PPP do you like better...
  14. There would need to be some middle ground - like if more than half the team exits, then the auto-exit timer kicks in, in case folks are clearing enemies or something, but only a couple people exit. As long as the cutscenes aren't overly long *cough* BAF *cough*...
  15. A character with human proportions can't readily "strut" on all fours. Are you trying to invoke an "uncanny valley" effect or something?
  16. There is a beast travel power you can get from the P2W vendor that does this. Also, IIRC, they updated the stance options in the tailor. It'd have to be an entirely new animation, plus I don't think character models have long enough forelimbs to properly carry out a horse-like running animation.
  17. I think each would have to be baked in with both aspects - such as, "sitting while drinking tea".
  18. As a tangent, it always bugs me when I step up to start a team, others eagerly join, then become overly critical about the XP/hour we're generating or otherwise don't like how the team is performing - it's like, "YOU could have started your own team at any point, but nooo... you were too lazy so had to tear down someone else's team instead."
  19. Found this nice bit of architecture on one of the islands in Echo Plaza, and thought it was fitting with The Lithe Spectre's theme...
  20. Sure, it could be an oversight, or, as I pointed out with arctic breath, an intentional omission...
  21. If you drop the mission, can you go back to the contact and re-get it?
  22. There are some variations in how epic powers work. For instance, in fire blast, blasters get "blaze", which is a high damage single target attack, but sentinels get blazing blast, which has a repel effect added. Similarly, in ice blast, instead of freeze ray, sentinels get chilling ray, that replaces the hold with a sleep. Tanker arctic breath gets a -res component, but the sentinel version does not. In short, there is a precedent for epic powers differing from their other counterparts...
  23. I'd love to see 3 sets implemented: 1. A single pistol set focusing on stronger, more accurate and less flashy animations. 2. Building on the above, a combination single sword and single pistol set. 3. A variant of shield defense for sentinels, even if you'd have to restrict it to not working with AR/BR/Archery/DP.
  24. I'd gladly take DFB requests over the incessant "sitter lff"...
  25. Seems kinda extreme if you ask me. No one is saying you have to run it over and over, but the buffs it grants are definitely helpful in the early game, and last up to level 22, so you can take your time with the other content without feeling a need to rush...
