Completing the patron arc that unlocks the patron pools also directs you to go to Nerva to respec.

OP, I'm not sure that you are going to get any satisfaction, here - an RP group rejected your application for "reasons" that you do not agree with and/or claim are fabricated. This is not the purview of the devs to address, and even if it was, you would do so via a support ticket to a GM or moderator.

I'm also guessing "no". Frankly, if the intent is that you should be wearing a "costume" when trick-or-treating, then pretty much any character should qualify, regardless of whether they have one of the Halloween temp powers equipped, but if it's just for the latter, then there's your answer...

I hope hope hope Disney doesn't hamstring the film. I also wonder how much or how little this will play into the MCU Phase 4 stuff, (if at all).

So after having finally gotten almost every AT into Incarnates, one thing that has come to my realization is that I prefer to play a character that can provide some benefit to their team, besides damage. Yes, I know that "a defeated mob can't harm anybody", but I'm referring more to mid-fight kind of stuff. To that end, what I have found is a particular love of radiation armor and how Ground Zero heals your allies. On my tankers, it also serves to draw even more aggro to them, and on my sentinels, it supplements Warmth or Rehabilitating Circuit. I like the powerful buffs defenders, corruptors, and controllers bring to the table, but it's much more difficult to lead a team from the front with one of them, (excepting a few specialized builds). What are your thoughts on a frontline leader or "Do-anything AT"? Thanks for reading!

A set of combat auras that are shields would be great for this...

Audio or character model cues for low health/end

By that I meant something on or around your actual character - like a pulsing red outline if low on health, a pulsing blue one if low on end, or something similar. -
Audio or character model cues for low health/end
biostem replied to biostem's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
There is a "show health bars" option, but then every target has health & end bars over their heads. It's still *something*, so there's that... -
Yes, mistells are a thing- it's just part of a direct-message system from a chat window which can scroll by quickly. As I mentioned, you'd also need to include an option to disable such "invite yourself" features...
-
I wonder if a better option would be some sort of "request invite" option, where a team leader would simply get a popup like "biostem would like to join your team [Yes]/[No]". Of course, this would also need an option to disable it, so people couldn't grief or abuse team leaders...
-
That was my main concern - the issue is, there's no way to have a macro send a PM to the last person who sent a message in the lfg chat, directly. I only suggested it as a possible option, but it's far from ideal...
-
So for people who may have some visual impairments or other issues with frequently shifting focus around the screen, how about some sort of option to have an audio or character model-centric visual cue for when you are low on health or end. Additionally, it would be a nice feature to be able to set a sort of "floor" for yourself regarding end usage. What I mean by that is that I could, as an option, set a lower limit for myself of, say, 10% of my end bar, where if I get to that point, I won't be able to use any active powers whose activation would take me below that threshold. End drain effects or power crashes would ignore this limit. This could also trigger some sort of audible or visual notification. Your thoughts? Thanks for reading!

I don't think it'd be that hard per se, but the issue is that the animation would still have you reach down, grab at the ground, then throw the object, which would look weird. The rock also doesn't persist like propel's does...
-
This is generally what I do. I think a simpler option, though, would be a simple "shuffle" option, that basically generates another 3, (just have the game pick one, abandon it, then select another set in the background).

Trying to find the easiest build for an impaired player
biostem replied to sutasafaia's topic in Tanker
What about willpower as your primary and savage melee as your secondary? As you mentioned, willpower has a lot of "set it and forget it" powers, and with savage melee, while there is a set mechanic, it kind of rewards you for *not* utilizing it - you get stacking endurance cost and recharge time reductions from building up stacks of blood frenzy, and if you don't worry about using the powers that consume those stacks once you have 5 of them, you can continue to benefit from those buffs. Further, its ultimate power, savage leap, is a fairly quick-recharging power, (by tier 9 standards anyway), which allows you to quickly and easily close the distance to an enemy, and deal some AoE damage in the process. Use it in conjunction with a bind or macro to quickly and easily target the nearest enemy, and you have a convenient way to getting yourself to the next group of enemies. There's also very little downtime with this set. I tend to like this powerset with radiation armor, but I see no reason it couldn't work well with willpower... -
Different team, different servers. You'll have to start over, but revel in the experience and welcome home again!
-
The thing is, those 5 stacks of blood frenzy grant you a pretty significant end cost and recharge reduction, so you have to include those values when considering the other bonuses blood thirst gives you. From what I've gathered, it also bypasses/cancels out the exhausted state, meaning you can build up to 5 stacks of blood frenzy, use a power that consumes those stacks, then instantly regain them, along with the tohit and damage bonus.

I don't intend to sound mean, but do you understand that each server is a separate entity? What I mean by that is your character, their name, etc, doesn't exist on the other servers, and their name is not reserved for you on those other shards. In effect, what you would need to do would be to reserve 1 name across all servers once someone makes a character with that name, then run some sort of batch file or process that would keep all instances synced up, and finally lock that character on all servers when you are playing a particular version of them. And this doesn't even address things like friends lists, supergroups, etc. Your best bet is to create a character to play on each server.
-
The problem is, if you want to send a private message/tell to a particular person, you'd have to click or otherwise copy-paste their name into the chat box. I suppose you could do: /macro LFT "lfg I'd love to join your team! Please invite me!" The above will create a button on a power bar labeled "LFT" which when clicked, simply sends a basic message to the LFG channel, advising you want to join. You can just click it to post that message into said LFG chat as needed. Thank you.
-
Can you please address the points brought up by myself and others in this thread, instead of assuming people are attacking you.
-
Each tier or type of minion has its own power, and you need to use said power to summon them, as well as needing to do so if they should be defeated or if, for instance, you are sidekicked to a higher level, then leave the team or become un-sidekicked.
-
An "Elite Boss", IMO, is NOT supposed to be midway between a "regular boss" and an AV/Hero, but instead merely a step above said "regular boss". That being said, there is definitely a difference between an AV/Hero that has been downgraded to an EB, and a :purpose-build" EB.

give iTrial leader a tip upon completion
biostem replied to Gerswin's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Here's an alternative idea: When there's a raid, a special bonus is generated and put into a pool, (this would be a separate additional amount, so not pulling from anyone else's gains). At the end of said raid, all participants can vote on who they thought was the MVP of that raid, and the top 3 people selected get a cut of that pool. Who voted for whom would be kept secret, but the overall results can be displayed. -

And my concern is it'll be turned into a shakedown mechanic. If said raid leader is confident enough to assemble and lead the raid, then they can ask for tips themselves. -

I'm not familiar with GW2, only really played the 1st one. Regardless, you're reasoning sounds a lot like an appeal to popularity. Either way, there is absolutely nothing stopping you from pm-ing the raid leader and thanking them or emailing them a reward, if you so wish...
