  1. What would be interesting would be to base the set around different directions or ways in which you can summon & propel objects. For instance, (in no particular order): Death from below: You summon an object right under your opponent, knocking them up into the air. Heads up: You summon a heavy object above your target, knocking them down. Caught in the middle: You summon 2 objects from either side of your target and crush them between said objects. Deals moderate smashing damage and disorients the target. Rain on your parade: You drop a series of moderately sized objects in an area, dealing smashing damage, slowing the targets, and reducing their defense and movement speeds. Bouncing Betty's: You cause a series to objects to rapidly rise from a given location then fly off in random directions, causing smashing damage and knocking down enemies in the area. Razor Rain: You launch a series of sharp & jagged objects at all enemies in a cone in front of you, dealing moderate lethal damage and applying a DoT effect. Adventurer's Folly: You summon a massive object and slowly drive it forward, dealing heavy smashing damage and knocking down any enemies in its path. Debris Field: You levitate and rapidly swirl many sharp pieces of debris around yourself, dealing lethal damage to any enemies that come near you, with a slight chance of knocking them down. Show of Strength: This power would act similar to build-up or aim, except that when you activate it, several medium-sized pieces of rubble quickly rise up from the ground around you, dealing minor smashing damage and knocking back any nearby enemies.
  2. Who is your favorite hero? Probably Iron Man, with Winter Soldier coming a close second. Who is your least favorite hero? Captain Marvel Who is your favorite villain? I kind of liked Ultron, though the Grandmaster gave me a chuckle too. Who is your least favorite villain? The Mandarin - such a waste Who is your favorite actor? Robert Downey Jr & Benedict Cumberbatch Who is your least favorite actor? Brie Larson What is your favorite movie in the MCU? I really liked Infinity War, though Civil War & Winter Soldier were a close 2nd & 3rd. What is your least favorite movie? Iron Man 3 or Thor 2. My own addition: I don't know why, but I also really like Iron Man 2 - I know it gets panned a lot, but it's sort of a guilty pleasure of mine. Drunk Stark pissing his suit, Venko's "byurds", the "Hammeroids", Iron Man & War Machine fighting back to back, and seeing all those failed Iron Man knock-offs are just entertaining to me...
  3. Didn't it turn out Apex was only like level 12 after all was said & done w/ the 1st comic series?
  4. So after tinkering with the settings, this seems to have done the trick. Thanks again!
  5. Yes they do.
  6. Well, I find thugs to be pretty easy to play, since your tier 1 & 2 minions are mainly ranged. You also get 'gang war', which is a great power that summons a whole bunch of temporary squishy pets to deal damage and distract the enemy. As for secondaries, I really like nature affinity; It's not too complex, and offers a wide variety of abilities. Here are some simple commands that, I think, will make your life a lot easier: /macro Att "petcomall attack defensive" /macro Flw "petcomall follow defensive" /bind lshift+lbutton "petcomall goto passive" The first command will place a little icon labeled "Att" in your power bar. That icon, when clicked or if you press the number associated with its place in the power bar, will command all your pets to attack your target. The second command will create an icon labeled 'Flw' which tells your pets to break off their attack, (unless they are attacked by another enemy), and follow you instead. The last command will make it so if you press shift then left-click somewhere, your pets will ignore everything else and attempt to move to where you clicked. Happy hunting!
  7. Yeah, I don't think I finished that series, either. In the 'Yakuza Arc' of My Hero Academia, they introduce a professional hero named "Fat Gum", who could expend the fat in his body to absorb damage or for additional strength; interesting take on a "Tank" if you ask me...
  8. The problem is, (for me at least), that with most other ATs, I can be more than "good" - I can be extremely successful with just generic IOs. Yeah, I'm not going to be top-tier, but I don't feel like I'm up against some kind of wall. Please don't misunderstand - those of you who can find that level of performance have my utmost respect... I just can't seem to see the light at the end of the tunnel with any dominator I create...
  9. Can sentinels get super reflexes? I can just imagine a dual pistol, super reflex "ballerina" going to town on some bad guys. Barring that, something like a gravity/storm controller can definitely make enemies "dance", so that could work...
  10. There's a set of wings that are more like a tech-backpack, and they're quite compact when folded down, (see this post for an example of what it looks like folded down). Also, back to the original topic, check out Absolute Duo - it's about some people that get weapons that represent their soul, and one character got a shield instead...
  11. You're quite welcome! Here's her 'Loving Sacrifice' form: maple angel.costume
  12. Here you go... maple heavy shielder.costume
  13. So I'll get this right out of the way; I'm familiar with controllers and the control sets in general, but I'm mainly a melee-AT player. I love gravity control, but I can pretty much do what I want with that set on a controller, without needing outside attacks. I'm trying to grasp the assault sets and how they're meant to interact with your primary. Do I just lock down an enemy and run into melee, to wail on them with my melee and ranged attacks? I tried making a ranged-only dom, but it just wasn't a fun experience for me. I'd also like to point out that I'm not hugely into IO set stuff - I mainly just slot up generic IOs and call it a day, so perma-dom is probably not going to happen for me. Any advice or suggestions you can provide would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for reading.
  14. Just the default bikini underneath...
  15. It's the barbarian skirt w/o the fur trim. I can post the costume later if you'd like.
  16. On several of my lower-level characters. the 'inner inspiration' power from the P2W vendor is far more useful than many of their other abilities. If the cooldown is too long on some powers, people, (IMO), would rather just take something that may be less effective, but more readily available...
  17. I totally forgot about the Talons! Yes, they have a nice selection of earth powers: Upthrust Targeted AoE, Moderate DMG(Smashing), Minor DoT(Lethal), -Fly, Chance to Knockdown You channel seismic energy into the earth, causing a micro-fault to erupt under your target. This causes a shard of rock to thrust upward out of the ground, dealing smashing damage. The force of the eruption also hits players with shards of rock, causing bleeding, can knock flying targets out of the sky, and knockback enemies. Shards of Stone Ranged Cone, Moderate DMG (Lethal), Moderate DoT(Lethal), -Fly, Chance to Knockup You launch a volley of stone shards at your target in a sweeping cone. These shards stab into the target, causing lethal damage. The force of the attack can also knock flying targets from the sky and has a chance to knock up ground targets. Ash Fall Summon You create a choking ash fall at your target's location. This hits any targets caught within its area of effect on an ongoing basis, but can be avoided if the area is evacuated.
  18. Some Legacy Chain enemies have a "propel rocks" and "propel boulder" ability and Earth Assault has "stone spears". Would this just be a knock-up/back-heavy set, or would you give it some other gimmick?
  19. I feel that any discussion about what sets are over- or under-performing is highly subjective, and since people use different metrics, such a discussion is more likely to trigger an argument than come to any sort of agreement. What I want to see are more options made available, and existing powersets tweaked to fill different niches, instead of all being placed into lock-step with one-another. Solo, I couldn't care less. On a team, if certain sets are drastically under- or over-performing, it can kill any motivation some people have to keep going - it is important for folks, (who aren't just looking to leech XP while door-sitting), to be able to contribute in a meaningful way. Well, if it isn't important to you that any character can contribute meaningfully in a team environment, regardless of what powersets or AT they play, then it wouldn't occur to you. If you don't like having to carry a team or being carried by others, then you want there to be a certain baseline of effectiveness for any given player/character. More important? I'm not sure. Important in a general sense, sure. If the devs want to put forth an objective metric that all sets will be measured against, then we can actually determine what needs "love" and what needs the nerf bat...
  20. There are already many powers one can get fairly early in there career with cooldowns that are on the long side. Maybe if such "limit break" abilities were inherent or such, I could see them being available early on, but not in lieu of a more regularly available/useful power...
  21. Thanks! She's a dark melee (for the drains/siphons) & shield defense brute.
  22. Here's my go at a version of 'Maple':
  23. Why not use trick shot for the middle attack?
  24. I'm all for the cape with collar & shoulders, only collar, only shoulders, or just the cape!
  25. I have a DM/EA brute that I rather like. My namesake was a DM/regen scrapper back on live. I just found dark armor to have too many things going on at once, for my liking. It's not bad, just "high maintenance"...
