  1. I had one back on live, and it was quite fun to play! Certainly not the fastest to defeat enemies, but feels really powerful. I've also grown to love electric melee, recently, so that could be a good choice...
  2. And because I can't leave well enough alone; "The Nictus Cat":
  3. I really liked that last design, so "inspired by" it, I present: "PowerCat"
  4. What started as my attempt at a generic "surfer girl" turned into some kind of Blue Beetle + Invincible + a tiny bit of Namor = "Tidewarp":
  5. Thanks! Just the aura.
  6. Two new ones: "Barely Contained": "Divegirl":
  7. I'm leaning toward an elec/fire armor sentinel, from what you've described. You could also go the route of one of the melee ATs, (maybe a savage/fire scrapper or something similar), taking the Mu Patron pool for the electrical attacks, (if your chosen AT doesn't have a regular elec APP)...
  8. Looks promising. They've paid attention to the environments and props. I'm hopefully optimistic that the writing remains good and we get some clarification on that current state of the NCR. I'd love to see some securitrons and other robots in live-action...
  9. I saw it in the theater last weekend; It was entertaining, but nothing groundbreaking.
  10. This is a difficult question to answer. If you want "classic", go with something like invulnerability and super strength. If you want something that feels more powerful, give radiation armor and electrical melee a try. If you want something that's more "out there", I highly recommend bio armor and savage melee...
  11. Tell that to all the naked Rikti I keep finding in those time capsules... on the docks... by the water... with DE nearby, (especially the devoured and all those. TENTACLES!!!)
  12. Going in a more "mutated" direction, I present "Fire-Vie"
  13. For normal enemies, you'd be better off just focusing on defeating them as quickly as possible. For EBs and AVs, not only do they generally, (AFAIK), have fairly significant resistances to end drain, but their powers don't follow the same cost schedule as players, so if they have like just 1 end, they can use their powers, so unless you not only keep them completely drained, but you must also keep applying/refreshing any -recovery effects...
  14. Don't mind me, folks... just farming the FUD...
  15. I had, but I wanted something to kind of signal that her psychic abilities weren't just something that was wholly generated by the character herself, and that there's some alien tech involved...
  16. Hailing from the stars, arrives "Psylvia":
  17. You can certainly RP it that way. IMHO, it's just that they never attached any FX to it. Interesting side note: I picked up one of the PPD Exosuit PAP costumes and when you fly there's a neat jet animation from their feet!
  18. This is going to sound weird, (and possibly elitist), but how I interpret this is wholly dependent upon what sort of "comic shop" we are talking about, here; If said shop primarily sells toys and CCGs, then I wouldn't put much stock in those patrons liking Thunderbolts. If, OTOH, it's one with tons of back issues and carries many smaller/lesser-known titles, then I'd put more weight to such a declaration...
  19. There are also a few other backpack and technological wing options that can make for a great "natural" form of flight...
  20. The problem isn't a lack of ability to un-ignore people; It's the human failing of not remembering to manually un-ignore them, and that, IMO, is what this suggestion aims to rectify. People's attitudes can change frequently, and perhaps you just want to not hear someone right *now* but not permanently...
  21. So, I'd say /Ninjitsu is the most fun to play, (but you do have to be a bit reactive with the self heal or self +end power, making sure to use them as needed, since both can be made to be available pretty often). I paired /SR with dark blast for the additional -tohit as well as a way of getting some healing into the build w/o having to turn to aid self. It'd also go well with water blast, again for a bit of healing and utility. I have a 50 AR/Invuln sentinel who is tough as nails, but I feel like that combination tends to slog through some fights, so maybe pair it with a blast set that's more engaging for you. I have a 50 DP/Nin who is a delight to play, (think the shadow or some other film noir type of character). I also have a 50 Storm/Nin who kind of feels like a cross between one of the MK ninjas and Storm from the X-Men, but the nature of Storm Cell makes you need to employ a bit more planning as far as manipulating the battlefield. Cheers!
  22. It's like they digitized the puzzle box then used it while on the grid...
  23. I'd believe these were from a totally different game! CoH: Gothic
