  1. Being able to swap builds on the fly - going from my Night Widow build to my Fortunata build - is why my Arachnos Widow is my second favorite character I've made. No other AT beside Kheldians can do that, but Widows can not just do it - they can do it well or even better than other ATs.
  2. No feedback, but I'm supportive.
  3. That Ice APP though! Got it on my main and it's got Build Up down to a minute recharge, capped HP thanks to the heal, and more +Cold def. I even went four deep and grabbed the Ice pet, which works really well with Frostworks and my Ice shields buffs.
  4. Those are fun stats, thanks for sharing the article! Not only do I play on Indomitable, the lowest population North American server, but I also play an Arachnos Widow, one of the least popular Archetypes. And I created it years ago, before any of the sweet recent changes were implemented. Fortunata Non Grata
  5. Oooh and maybe name the specific mobs that grant less XP than baseline. The Freakshow for example.
  6. How did you defeat 450 Giant Monsters in one day? 😳 Edit: Also note the below - Giant Monsters Adamastor Adamastor's Monstrous Aether now shares cooldown with their merit rewards. Ghost of Scrapyard Ghost of Scrapyard's Reward Merits and Monstrous Aether now have an 18-hour cool-down to reward on the same character.
  7. Sounds like the problem identified by the original poster is already solved. Nice work community!
  8. Ninja Run, like other S.T.A.R.T. purchased travel powers, cannot be slotted with enhancements. Edit: @ZorkNemesis got to it first!
  9. I think badges themselves are reward enough. I don't mind the extra stuff added on top, but I'm not beholden to it for dopamine.
  10. There's the instant gratification way, just read the enemy group listing in the Homecoming wiki kindly assembled by volunteer scholars. Then there's the play each mission from every contact and read every pop up, mission text, dialogue, and souvenir - along with every badge, enemy info description and cutscene. The former is nice to do since the old user manual is dated. The latter is nice if you have time and really enjoy the story. Oh and there's this too: Know your adversary
  11. I appreciate that Hydra have Toxic attacks at that specific level range. It taught me to pay attention to typed damage when I first started playing. I don't mind updating visuals and adding in a few surprises to these enemy groups, but I'm also a big fan of how they were introduced to players.
  12. This is not correct. I am a Villain. Why are they conning as enemies to me?
  13. The real trick is to load up a brand new character on Indomitable (1.0x), have them log out for 10 days for a full bar of patrol XP (1.0x), log back in and purchase the Double XP boost from the S.T.A.R.T vendor (1.0x) and then join a team and defeat the Avatar Seed of Hamidon floating in First Ward (0.25x). That's 3.25x XP! Seriously though, I support this suggestion.
  14. Another color of red and Knight? Try these
  15. Pics or it didn't happen
  16. Much like many on these forums, back in the day I became proficient at typing not because of Mavis Beacon, but due to the necessity of communicating while in combat in City of Heroes. When there was REAL risk - as in your character stopped leveling because you had so much debt, the only respec in the game was offered at the end of a ridiculous trial when build-gimped, and you had to pay actual money in addition to sinking your own time in to the grind. Now there's no risk, so I don't have to type fast or coherently. To answer your question, I do use Discord occasionally. While playing CoH.
  17. Nope. Exact same speed as any other server.
  18. Grab one of these from the S.T.A.R.T. vendor instead: Return to Battle: If you are defeated, you may return to battle empowered by the effects of several types of large inspirations! After each use, you may not use this effect again for another hour. Note that Return to Battle is unaffected by Recharge Time changes. Renewal of Light: If you are defeated, activating this power will restore you so you may continue the battle. The restoration blasts nearby foes with an explosion, knocking them down and disorienting them. You will revive with about half of your hit points and endurance. You will be invulnerable for a brief time and protected from xp debt for 20 seconds.
  19. @Mender Derek @Mender Silos They're always watching. For all time. Always.
  20. Here's the details: https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=incarnate.hybrid.support_genome_9 The only healing component I see in the entry is below: "(0.08 * Melee_Ones)% Heal Dmg, Smashing Dmg, Lethal Dmg, Fire Dmg, Cold Dmg, Energy Dmg, Negative Energy Dmg, Psionic Dmg, Toxic Dmg, Confused, Afraid, Terrorized, Held, Immobilized, Sleep, Accuracy Strength (all affected targets) for 10s"
  21. There is conflicting information, that's why my understanding is too. Looking at the Homecoming wiki: Patrol Experience "For every 24 hours a character spends logged out, they accumulate 1 bar of Patrol XP, with a maximum of 10 bars. If a character has a number of Patrol XP bars that exceeds the number they need to level up, this extra experience carries over to their next Security/Threat Level." But both you and my in-game example below says otherwise: Sublimator had a full bar of Patrol XP and was then logged out for 37 days. There should at least be 3 additional levels worth of Patrol XP accumulated - (though my understanding is it scales with Level so the higher the character, the less it fills). Based on this in game example, however, it appears Patrol XP stops once the XP bar is filled (though a Level's worth of Patrol XP may spill in to the next level).
