Hoping this is the correct place for this feedback: In the patch notes it was mentioned that "Minor geometry fixes to Siren's Call, Talos Island, Port Oaks and Atlas Park" were implemented. I had reported several geometry errors which allow access outside of each of these zones. It appears that two of those which I reported are still active and accessible. Talos Island: Location: 542.6 -2.0 6181.8. Another instance of the geometry being raised enough to allow a teleport underneath. See TP marker as white. Tested and worked. Siren's Call: Location: -648.0 -137.6 -276.9. The camera angle needs to be as depicted (in the screenshot) in order for the teleport cursor to appear white and allow activation. Tested and confirmed multiple times.

This looks so awesome, can't wait to test it out. Thank you Homecoming volunteers for so many months of hard work!

Recluse's Victory NPC Archvillains/Heroes defeat badges. Got any Tips?

Yeah, Babs and Manti literally spawn 6 times in a row. Is there something to getting the Miss Lib and Penny spawned? -

Let us resume this effort today. I can try this anytime. -
I'm getting a 'Tina' from Bob's Burgers vibe!

I certainly understand the premise of the OP's suggestion and I love playing pretty much every part of this game and doing all the many things a player can do. I support this suggestion. That being said, I rarely see constructive criticism in these suggestion threads lately. The OP isn't taking away anyone's anything. It's a suggestion, subject to other forum posters subjective opinions, all of which are valid, but I would venture out and advise folks who disagree with this suggestion to actually provide something more than a turndown post or /jranger quote. Compromise or adapt, nothing gets done when everyone has immovable positions.

Trick or Treating looks silly in the day time

Love the change and I disagree with this suggestion. Thanks! -
Hi! If you scroll down to the accolade powers on these linked pages, you'll see what you can get for those associated day job badges. https://hcwiki.cityofheroes.dev/wiki/Hero_Day_Job_Badges https://hcwiki.cityofheroes.dev/wiki/Villain_Day_Job_Badges Edit: And to answer your question, once you unlock both Day Jobs Badges associated with the accolade badge, you can then start building credit time towards the accolade power. If memory serves me right, logging out for two days straight will max out the temp accolade power bonus (either time or number of uses).

A Pretty Damned Spectacular Guide on Leveling with IOs and IO Sets
Glacier Peak replied to Yomo Kimyata's topic in Guides
Great guide and layout! I find myself intentionally using basic IOs until level 20 because I end up destroying things too fast and I like a challenge when soloing. Can't argue with the awesomeness of set bonuses and procs though! -
Interesting! I have g-sync enabled if that helps line up with your reasoning. I have had nothing else running (aside from the normal background apps that windows forces everyone to run) and those are taking up less than 4% of my CPU performance and 0% of my GPU performance. I do notice that when I click away from the screen and open something else (say google chrome) my frame rate returns to 165 FPS. If I click back to the launcher, it drops back to 10 FPS. It isn't a big deal for gameplay, as once I click the server the frame rate drop disappears and I go back up to 165 FPS. It was just something unusual I wanted to annotate.

Sounds good Shock! Jacktar, great advice - if we aren't able to defeat them I would say that the droning is an option worth trying. -

Indomitable also, I saw you on your Brute earlier and sent a tell. My global is @Glacier Peak. I'm Colorado, shouldn't be too hard to find a similar time. The issue I'm facing is the AVs hit way to hard in a group, so I try to pull. It's near impossible and then they all just wail on me. I had my longbow mech, my pill box, my shivan, extra temp pets, my P2W pets and I used all the nukes that buff, but the moment i pulled I get melted 😆 Edit: I'll be on Wednesday pretty much any time after 3PM MST / 2PM PST. -
Recluse's Victory NPC Archvillains/Heroes defeat badges. Got any Tips?
Glacier Peak replied to Shocktacular's topic in Badges
I'm actually in the process of getting these as well on my badger. I don't have any trouble spawning them, but I can't get them away from each other to solo. I may just have to ask for help in broadcast or get more shivans and nukes. -
Hi, I'm using my monitors built in frame rate counter.

Figured I would add a new post instead of editing my older one for more visibility: Just noticed this issue today - when I open up the HC Launcher my framerate drops from 165FPS to between 10-30FPS. The exact steps are as follows: 1. On desktop, with no other programs running, monitor refresh rate displays I am sitting at 165 FPS 2. When I open the HC Launcher, it immediately drops to 30 FPS, then stabilizes at 10 FPS. Is this an isolated incident or does anyone else notice significant framerate decline after opening the HC Launcher itself?

Hi, my experience is different than yours. I always see more than a single player who isn't on my team in any of the PvP zones since I've been on Homecoming. Always.
-
There's also dev commands that allow you to defeat everything in a zone at once, no clip through objects, give yourself every power in the game or any specific power, and spawn any number of any targetable entities and/or reflag them as friendly, enemy or otherwise. All of these commands exist for the developers to use, not for the players to use. The reality is that the command at the focus of this thread is not meant for players to use, but it exists in its current and well known form until an alternative can be implemented. There are other exploitable commands in this game that can just as easily be taken up by players and deemed essential, one in particular that makes this base pass code seem like a tier one set power by comparison. Luckily it's not being abused to my knowledge and I have confidence our awesome volunteer staff are working on a solution.

@SuperPlyx This isn't necessarily a solution, but @WanderingAries put together a helpful step by step guide to follow here: Hope that helps!

Hello, this is general feedback: First, I would like to say I really appreciate the volunteer team creating this new launcher. It feels like a legitimate game launcher now. Aesthetics aside (a point others have brought up about changing the launcher skins to match CoV/GR), every functionally important button is clearly labeled or easy to find. I downloaded all three items (game, pre-release, and beta) so effortlessly I actually reopened the launcher because I thought it didn't accept my command. So fast! My initial impressions were this: this launcher boots fast and gets me in the game very quickly, the login being tied to my forum handle feels secure, and the compatibility (aside from the annoying virus notifications, but I understand why) works seamlessly. Second, I tested this launcher using Windows 64bit and I did not notice any errors or hiccups, lag or bugs - literally the smoothest install and launch platform I have used since maybe Steam! Third point - I also tested multiple account launching and it was perfect. I marked the multiple account box in the options ahead of time and tested how many accounts it would allow me to launch (I got to three and then figured that was enough!).

You're spot on canon-wise. That AV is the big baddie. I think it still leaves the door open for a GM though, examples -Clockwork King has Babbage/Paladin, Hamidon has Devouring Earth GMs, Circle of Thorns have a lot, but Caleb as an example.

I support this suggestion, and as someone else already mentioned, a GM Wailer enemy would be fitting - especially if it incorporated the new Sonic powerset coming with Page 6 (looking at you @Piecemeal to flex)
