  1. Except it does. Oh not the fight against the Rikti, but it very much affects Praetorians in one spot and that is Number Six's missions to Last Bastion. Which is somewhere IN Praetoria no Goldsider can go. Kinda annoying. The reason? There's none apart from Number Six as a contact is in the RWZ and that's it. All it needs is a door moved, similar to Vetrano in Night Ward perhaps.
  2. I seem to earn inf in the game, and every bank heist surely has monetary rewards, I think we should be allowed buy off, blackmail or plain bribe our opponents. Or better yet, their minions! I mean you might have some difficulty with some of the factions but hey, worth a shot.
  3. While it MIGHT be a pain for the Devs, the recent release of KW maps shows a way forward. We now have Legacy KW maps PLUS the newer variants that are used in the live KW in game missions. So rather than "fixing" Marchand's Office for instance, simply adding renaming it Legacy and adding a newer variant with corrected positions might be possible. It would no doubt depend on Dev time and resource, like so many things.
  4. Well, fair enough. I never use it like that but I suppose I'm in a minority.
  5. Echo: Dark Astoria and Echo: Rikti Crash Site are accessible as a pure villain.
  6. For me the best TTRPG Supers game was Aberrant, closely followed by Wild Talents.
  7. Nope. You just have to test every damn map for it. As @Cobalt Arachne said most outdoor maps will instantly "go live" because there's no perceived distance between the player and the target. And some of the AE indoor maps do the same damn thing. So it's test and test again. My only "hack" for this is Enemy Unaware is almost always things I want the player to "overhear" rather than anything else. Other than that I avoid the Enemy Unaware dialog.
  8. The AE scratches my (almost dead but not quite) GM itch from when I used to run TT RPGs. And unlike those, I can play them myself! Huzzah!
  9. Well so far I've only written 21 AE arcs but that's 103 missions. So I reckon that the in game content could be 10,000 actually.
  10. The ferries are all on the East side of Paragon. If you were to add one to KW then you may as well go ahead and add one to IP as well, given the layout of the map.
  11. Congrats to the winners! And Congrats to the organisers for running this. Kudos!
  12. There's a random glitch where sometimes you only see the default digital contact. So it may be that the contact IS there, just generic'd.
  13. In game mail.
  14. Why not morph the Red PVP zones to PVE (or maybe doppel them so there's a choice of "Warburg (PVE)" and "Warburg (PVP)" on the transit?) because frankly those places are dead. And ironically some of the best designed places in the Rogue Isles. Instantly more Red space. Leave RV as is. The entire meta of RV is PVP. For the rest it isn't.
  15. If you send a message to the GMs via the Option menu you can get more slots. @sandandchaos
  16. Yep. The plaque down from Statesman mentions this.
  17. I'm just wondering what you are going to use the new Rikti spaceship map for, complete with cannons, low gravity and a death zone!
  18. Little bit of prescience there!
  19. I think this is great. But I too will be sitting this out. I'm a staunch ally all the way but I can't tell that story from the inside truthfully. However I have a little experience with the AE so if anyone who is entering wants some technical advice feel free to message me. I may not be able to help but I'll try.
  20. And I'm hoping that they do publish an actual review. That would be nice. I stated earlier that I approached the article under the impression it was a review, and then I found out it wasn't. So I asked why wouldn't they do a review? Maybe they have one in the pipeline and it's going to come soon. I can only speak for myself when I say I'd have liked a full review of the patch, which included all the article, that covered all the items. As someone who has no interest in the so-called meta this article wasn't for me. And you know, at the end of the day that's fine too.
