  1. How could you say such a thing?! AAAH! (runs off sobbing)
  2. As my late father, a union rep for some years, once commented, Company loyalty tends to only go one way, their way.
  3. Necro! I'm also going to recommend @cranebump's sterling work in dealing with issues surrounding the gap. I have one tiny allusion to possible gap shenanigans in my stuff, but depending on where you stand it could refer to either side of the gap. Cryptic!
  4. Statesman as an AI? Oh I don't see that working to be honest. Not sure what you mean by Ms Liberty knowing the current Statesman is a fraud. Tyrant hasn't replaced Statesman. Tyrant has spent the last 8 years (?) sitting in a supes prison as far as we know. Every other appearance of Statesman is set in the past now. As far as I can see the only possible "now" version of Statesman is when you read the comic part of the Galaxy City tutorial, and the players don't interact with him there.* *I'm pretty certain the Galaxy City attack is time fractured and for a given value of "now" is still happening. How else does a new hero explain how they were fighting alongside Sister Psyche, then got on a chopper to Atlas Park, got off and found she had died several years earlier?
  5. I have. Same thing. You have to be able to get to the start point. So I can do say, Cole's Personal story or The Emperor's Sword, because they start from Night Ward, but not Number 6's because it tries to TP you to the RWZ door.
  6. I've unlocked incarnates as a Praetorian and you simply cannot go to the RWZ.
  7. Oh no, I get that, I do, our Praetorian SG is filled with toons post the Rift Enclosure mission. The rest are majority 20 or under and about 6 of us are those who never left, 4 at Incarnate level. But, if I talk to an Icon employee for example, even in our SG base, I get told that they don't speak to people from an alternate dimension, the crossers don't have that issue! And laughingly Belladonna Vetrano says the same thing to me! Personally I don't distinguish between us, if I see a Daughter/Son of Praetoria badge on you then you're kin, but the game sees a difference. I do patrol around Nova and offer advice where I can to those who haven't been Gold side before (plus the offer of membership of The Praetorians SG, where they might find some folk to team with) and generally try to encourage. And I'm on a lot so peeps in the SG can call on me to exemp down and help out with some ghouls or whatever if needed. Other than that I'm exploring what the limits really are on a Praetorian who never left. Still finding out. I tend to stay at the back in iTrials in case the boss sees me though!
  8. Well, as I said, "Praetorians" in general, the game has two classes of Praetorians. True Goldsiders and those who "got the ferry". LOL. I have a lot of fun though patrolling the streets of Imperial. It's like being Superman. And you just head to First Ward at level 20 and experience it that way. It's a very immersive experience.
  9. Well yeah 🙂 Since if you leave you're not a Praetorian anymore as far as the game is concerned. None of your old contacts recognize you to say "no more missions for you", you've naturalized as Primal.
  10. Ah, "go back". That's the snag. I didn't leave! But apparently not leaving means you can't help your homeworld because...plot?
  11. I play a level 50 Praetorian (and getting there was not the easiest!) but I can't help there because I cannot access the RWZ, or any area outside the 8 Praetorian zones and Pocket D.
  12. You can't even do those if you're a Praetorian anyway.
  13. Which is why I argue that Arachnos, in order to move forward plot wise, needs to take a step back and appear to behave like a "normal" government.
  14. I think any attempt to use Battalion is ridiculous and the team should look at what is seeded in the Lore, that's what's in the game+novels+comics and it is not an after the fact AMA, however fun that is to read, and move forward from there in a way that is not bound by the original Dev team's ideas or plans.
  15. Keep him dead! What is done is dead, however badly. New stories with him? Sure, in the past. we have the Lore that allows that, but dealing with the actual consequences of his death should remain I think.
  16. Ok, thanks for that! I didn't want to get riled by text and the best way to do that is just ask nicely 🙂 See, I'm a heavy user of AE, but I don't farm and have never written a farm. I just write stories to the best of my limited ability, and that's a big part of the game for ME. So I don't actually begrudge the existence of farms and farmers, I just want a way to separate them from what I and others like me do. And I suppose we're a minority? I don't really know, either way we're not nearly as vocal as dedicated farmers/farm makers. And it's why I advocate getting the training wheels off the AE system. I am looking forward to what Piecemeal has done, I really am, but give me and the rest access to her tools and we will build you a fuller world. I'm not even talking about new stuff, just access to what is already in the game! Give us a bible to adhere to and limits and sure, it would need to be looked at by an external team, but the talent to write is there. I know, I've played stuff in the AE that is good enough, and some frankly better, given the limits of the AE tool, than plenty of the actual content in the game. Much obliged for the polite reply. That's how we all get along. We're all in the same boat, we don't need people poking holes in the bottom!
  17. I don't do it but a friend does, and their reasoning is sure, I'm exemped down but I still have the extra inspirations to drop, the enhancements are still firing passively better than if I was actually (insert true level) and I get to enjoy it more without just dying constantly. For me the dying is part of the game, but different strokes and all that.
  18. Perhaps. But not for a long time I think. And they should be rightfully wary of the Statesman/JE conflation situation. So if they do that then "Insert Name Here" can't be any one dev's character, they have to belong to the game. We don't need an alternate Statesman, we already have one of those in custody. I still say there's a lot of mileage in Mender stories about past Statesman though.
  19. Oh sweet goobus. Being able to play the PPD and responding to a zone event and telling the heroes to back off because of jurisdiction. LOL.
  20. You didn't, I did and there will be a time when I can't and you will, it goes around. We're in this together 😄
