  1. You'd think there should be mace in hand versions of some of those powers. Build up for War Mace doesn't put the mace away, does it?
  2. I never bother with aid self or phase shift on SR When hit hard. I either ride it out, trusting my luck, or I use combat jumping to give me enough seperation for quick breather (assuming I have no greens or oranges.)
  3. The problem with trying to keep up on comics is they cost a fortune these days. That and I can't buy them with my parents money ... =p
  4. SGU was really good, though I was disappointed by the comic continuation. I somehow doubt that's really where the show would have gone with a full creative team. The movie was decent as well. The whole take on the Ancient Aliens and Egypt stuff worked IMO. Since I watched SGU first I couldn't get into SG1 and Atlantis at least not at that time. Though I have meant to give them another shot. I tend to prefer hard Sci Fi, and while SGU isn't remotely that, at least they spend a lot of time trying to figure out the Destiny Ascension and its mission. As well as struggling to survive on a ship a million years past its sell by date.
  5. I want to know how come my neighbor doesn't have my brand of beer in his fridge. Its totally inconvienent to have to drink some other brand when I hang out over there and watch the game at his place.
  6. I really liked how they actually plausibly put in the standard Sci Fi teen genius trope in a less contrived manner. It shared some concepts with voyager (lost far from home, mismatched crew, etc) The destiny falling apart added some tension, while they struggled to understand it. It seemed a smart, undervalued show imo. Unfortunately I watched it first before the other Stargate stuff and I just couldn't get into those after.
  7. Even if the KB was slightly better than KD, How much mitigation does a high level scrapper really need? KD is way better for AOE damage. In my experience Claws is one of the best Scrapper/Brute AOE sets.
  8. FF in Lightning clap would be decent then.
  9. Bit like EA, build to be softcapped without drains. Then hit drain when fighting Def debuff baddies Should work on tankers at least, with the higher base numbers on weave, CJ, etc.
  10. Then the stalker appears from hide .. *as long as its not one of the old sets
  11. Force Field would also be a good support set for Fire Armor defense. FF can also cap their own defense easier. Thematically plus synergy? Maybe a Demons/Dark Mastermind.
  12. Ninjas could have Katana attacks Beast could have Savage melee Necro dark melee Robots Energy Melee (sorry) Demons Fire Melee Thugs Street Justice Mercs Martial Arts
  13. It can't be much of a tank, they can't have effectively 3 powersets I suppose you could have a MM primary replacing ranged attacks with melee ones. Though one would have to be taunt so the attacks would be sparse? And a defense secondary ala scrapper / sent. Maybe Sent with scrapper numbers. With the brute taunt auras worked in.
  14. Wouldn't MM pets die wholesale without a support set backing them up?
  15. For names .. Guardian isn't a bad name since Sentinel is now a thing. That's what people are trying to resurrect anyhow. Protector might work, kind of follows off defender. Champion isn't bad but of course you have the CO issue. One problem in a lot of these proposals is the inherents. They seem to either be OP or oddly tailored very specifically do something the proposer wants, rather than mesh well with existing AT inherents. This one seems like it will be great at low levels but at high levels, who needs a domination +support bonus?
  16. Shockwave is like a blaster AOE, its gigantic. Its like Energy Torrent's meaner big brother. Put a KB to KD in it. Spin is a perfectly serviceable melee PBAOE. Evis has a wider cone than most melee sets cone AOE get.
  17. Its actually cheaper to use your merits to buy Enhancement Converters, then just sell the converters for 80-100k. You can make hundreds of millions this way just soloing arcs to 50 at +0,x1 As stated, there are other ways. Coh is actually pretty forgiving money wise compared to a lot of games
  18. A lot of newer games do this. Or the reverse, ways for melee combatants to pull baddies close, quickly. I guess with the old pull, tank and spank gameplay no longer being a thing, it helps keeps things moving.
  19. Whoa.
  20. Kerbal Space Program
  21. Claws has a normal melee pboe a huge, ranged taoe cone, and a high damage melee cone.
  22. /Electric gets a lot from this Id think Thunderstrike AOE radius finally good Jacobs Ladder cone increase which ut really needed. Improved scale on the Telenuke How does it effect chain induction?
  23. Ninja Blade has less AOE than the newer sets, but for soloing small groups of baddies is fine. If you want full scrapper set levels of AOE you need SJ, Staff, Savage, Electric, maybe a couple I missed .. But except for Electric none of the really old sets Stalkers got back in the day.
  24. Is this another rage thread?
  25. Confront only exists to make some of the sword sets look cool. And that is fine.
