You cant really like Science Fiction TV and not have watched Trek in one form. There is just not enough Sci Fi TV So ..wow .. that is pretty pathetic. Someone from Season 2 must have watched TOS though. They go out of their way to make Pike seem like Pike from the TOS pilot. Maybe because they only needed to research Two Episodes to do Pike, lol.

Star Wars has a similar problem. Though the Guilty party in part IS the original writer. I wonder how much of Trek is the inevitable Flanderization, And how much is unless they slap the name "Trek" on it they cant get a show like it bankrolled.

The premise of all three of those shows are awesome though - BUT they are not like the first two shows at all. Which I think detracts. But I don't know if you really can call any Trek good or bad Sci-Fi since its more Science Fiction Theme Park, Space Opera stuff. Voyager - Its set in TNG which I think was wise. But not in their normal setting, which I think bothered people. DS9 diverged thematically but it was in the same setting as TNG so it felt more like an extension of TNG. But the idea of a Ship lost on the other side of the Galaxy trying to find their way home is a good one. Enterprise - Earth's first real Star-Ship is built after years of being slow rolled by a supposedly benevolent Alien Race. They set out to basically join the (local) Interstellar Community. It changed how Vulcans are. Which bothered people. It moved first contact with Klingons up. Which bothered people. It changed a lot of the history of TOS. Which bothered people. But I like the initial premise. Discovery - A botched attempt at cowboy diplomacy leads to a fatalistic war with a Superior Warlike enemy. The woman who made the mistake seeks redemption by helping on a secret technology that might let the Federation survive. Good Premise. But they change Trek a lot. Might be a theme here. They want to change too much. Its like the writers don't even read their own lore.

One thing I wonder about Trek watchers Is that there are basically Action Movie Fans that are okay with some Trek Movies Trek Fans Trek Fans that watch Science Fiction Science Fiction Fans that are also Trek Fans Science Fiction Fans that watch Trek So I wonder how those sorts of descriptions affect what Trek you like. For example the new movies are mainly going for #1 hoping for some Nostalgia to splash on the rest Where I'm more category 5. I've watched all the TV series and some of the movies. Really didn't like the new movies. Mostly liked the rest of the franchise. But if there was better Science Fiction available would probably skip Trek. But that may be why Enterprise and Discovery were better in my book, since I really don't care if they are "TOS" Like or "TNG" like

wow. How do I get that version of Netflix lol

One thing about it that is annoying is they want you to pay for a streaming service just for Star Trek basically. Which seems to raise people's expectations.

Mainly to make their new Klingons darker and edgier ... if weirder? They change them partly back for season 2 which is weird

	don't actually even remember it

I actually liked how the cowboy actions by Michael ended up screwing up everything. Since that is a bit of a deconstruction of the cowboy heroics from some of the Treks. Of course it is then promptly reconstructed up to 11 which I was less fond of. I do like how they are trying to shake some of the zeerust off. The Picard trailers look like that continues. As opposed to tye new Movies that revel in it ... and add lens flares. Im not a fan if the spore drive at all. But hey. Cant have everything. Pike is great. The cranky Engineer is great. Tilly is great. Spok eh. Michael meh.

Isn't anything MA in discovery really. Maybe just a PG13 sex scene or two and some blood.

Charging for Powerlevelling to level 50
Haijinx replied to Queen Nefertiti's topic in General Discussion
Gold has the best low level content if you don't mind solo. But its been possible to avoid IP for a long long time. Let alone Striga. No power leveling needed. Old(ish) days. Sewer team then KR radios. Then SC Radios. Then Talos Radios. Then Bricks Radios. Then FF Radios. Then PI radios. Now .. DFB then DIB then PI radios. -
Is this stuff tracked? If its not, this may be a big ask. Personally I don't care about any of that stuff, but if people want it, that's cool.

Some of the characters in Discovery are really good. Those first few episodes though are jarring

Fire works in my experience. Yeah matters a lot on Energy since its so noisy.
 -
Must be fast since if you alternate telenukes you will basically be a ranged AOE.

Its more of an inverted Nightmare before Xmas type deal. Linus thinks his version of Santa Claus comes on Halloween. The depraved ramblings of a 5 year old kid who carries a blanket. -

Increase the number of powers that can be placed in auto
Haijinx replied to DrRocket's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
An alternative idea to multiple auto powers choices, would be to continue to only have 1 open choice like now. But allow certain powers to be turned on auto that don't count as that one. Some possibilities: Rage Practiced Brawler Dull Pain Mind Link Maybe you want to make it a primary/secondary thing only Or maybe you want to include Hasten, etc. Rage and Practiced Brawler come to mind since if you play SR/SS you really have 3 clicks you want to auto, and none are attacks. -

Increase the number of powers that can be placed in auto

Hmm if you only have 2 powers to auto you can avoid that by having the bind instead change back and forth your auto power -
That would be cool with Fire Blast I wonder about an Assault set. Since having whips but not letting Dominators use them probably bothers someone.

Every year the Great Pumpkin Rises to reward those whose belief is the most sincere. I don't care what Sally says. -

I guess you could put the story friendly AE in the University Libraries. Less cows, but probably easier since the story seekers will be the smaller group. -

Increase the number of powers that can be placed in auto

You can use your one normal auto-power Then you can bind W so that it fires the next one And runs forward. Then bind Tab so it fires the other one and targets. That three before really doing anything complicated.
