  1. Gravity should definitely have a blast set. Not sure if this is how I would go about it, but that's just a preference thing. Im more interested in the Manipulation to accompany it, Weaker Singularity perhaps? Some leveraging of the pull in effect for the Melee PBAOE?
  2. The set itself is pretty versatile now Flight+teleport power A low level blast A debuff toggle A mini T9 / break free with 30% uptime I think though some are attached to how it is now. If this had been the originally released set (assuming balance stuff) it probably would have been well received
  3. Blasters are absolutely the highest DPS class. Its not even close. Just not Single Target DPS. Although they will probably do more single target damage in a lot of missions too, due to the opportunity cost of moving to attack the next opponent with melee.
  4. Its a market. The devs don't set the prices, your fellow players do. Same as Live basically (minus how some of the salvage works)
  5. Veats should get 500% max damage instead of 400% The END boost was before inherent stamina I think. It could stand being updated. Maybe some other tweaks, nothing as drastic as a lot of the ideas in this thread probably. That one ATO needs help, but lots of ATs have that issue. At least they do have one good one.
  6. I agree. Even more than 2 I think. Its the being able to keep them all on the tank that's the problem. Simply pulling 500 onto the team with no aggro control on 483? That actually sounds fun.

  12. ROP would still be quite useful for what the advocates are saying they want it for though. Just not as useful.
  13. Why would it be? After all, you wouldn't take ROP as any Melee Class, or Sentinel, or VEAT, or Kheld. At least not typically. So it makes sense its chosen less often. ==== Overall, this thread amazes me. This seems to be the end result of allowing so much Power Creep happen. People feel entitled to it.

  15. This probably applies to a lot of these ideas. I would probably prefer a hardmode server that used vastly adjusted mechanics myself. IOs are one of the few things that allow you to tailor your character. How popular would it be? Probably not very. But Requiem for Skyrim does have some following, so perhaps there would be some.

  18. I believe this is true. I also think that a certain number that claim its not broken know intellectually that it is. At least from a Mechanics sense. I think the ones who stop having fun grouse for a little bit. Maybe even start threads like this one. Eventually they give up trying to do anything to "fix" things. Then leave. I find it interesting one of the main flames thrown at those who want more challenge is that they are vastly outnumbered and thus their opinion is not useful. Then at the same time claim there are too many of these threads.
  19. I'd say I'm in favor of the idea of nerfs in the general sense, or in buffing enemies in the general sense. Probably the latter. But Its pointless since it will never happen. No nerf is going to get implemented that is anything more than noise in the balance of this game sense. As to the strawman thing. If you need to use "goddamn", I think that discussion is over. Think what you want. It doesn't matter.
  20. I'm not angry. I'm a just amazed that people don't think there is enough Power Creep already in this game and want even more. Personally if it were up to me I'd eliminate the Melee's immunity to status effects. Making it only partially effective. Then probably have less controls overall since there wont be this crazy game of trying to overwhelm a Melee character's Protection. But that's never going to happen. But if the reason the proposed ROP reduction is so opposed is squishies being affected by status effects, just directly address that. It seems to be a buyers market in the Power Creep sphere these days, so maybe it will happen.
  21. I wasn't making a strawman. I was asking you a question. If you want minions to pose no challenge, then why bother with them having stats?
  22. Except I am not trying to nerf anyone, nor rewrite the entire game system. I think it needs rewritten, sure, but that's different than trying to get that to happen. I know it won't . I've already conceded. Left the field. I'm done making suggestions to make things more challenging. But that doesn't mean I'm going to let people Gaslight all day long saying how great everything is. The game is broken. As a game. Which is what I was responding to.
  23. Then just make all the Minions level 1, why bother with stats at all? I personally prefer something like this - But I'm cool meeting in the middle somewhere.
  24. Why not just advocate for full mez protection for squishies? Or heck. Lets just remove all controls from baddies completely except for the rare instances like Ghost Widow or Lord Recluse or Romulus.
