Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't defenders also ranged damage dealers? They have all the same powers as corruptors, just with primaries/secondaries swapped. So your comment is misleading or disingenuous. As for the OP, I prefer playing corruptors over defenders. For the same reason I prefer brutes over tankers. The attacks are primary instead of secondary, so I get them sooner and am happy. I don't know what it will take for more players to like or want to play corruptors, but since defenders and corruptors are inverses of each other, I'm kind of leery about making either better than the other. (And if defenders are better than corruptors right now? I'm not seeing it. Because I like my corruptors. Over defenders.)

Could you flesh it out a bit? I'm curious as to how it would work.

I can run around Port Oakes taking snaps if needed, but a LOT of the telephones in Port Oakes are sunk into the sidewalks. Particularly along the road by the bank.

Suggetion: Badge for Completing all Story Lines, one blue, one red

At least @Zepp's suggestion doesn't try to capstone without regard to hopefully more content. I can accept his version. -
Rise of the Phoenix and Soul Transfer buffs?
Rudra replied to Ston's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Just reporting what the Status Protection and Core Stats tabs of the View Totals window in Mids says. I cycled through all armors (as brute) with every secondary power except the T9 selected and turned on. Edit: Scratch that. Some toggles turn off when I change the secondary. My apologies. So only Dark Armor and Fiery Aura have no KB protection. -

Sooooo... further muddying this and not just cementing my opposition, but steel-reinforcing and titanium plating it, is gold side content would be considered red side or blue side content for the purposes of getting a badge for completing red side or blue side content? Because somehow that is supposed to make any sense at all? On top of the 'get the badge early or you will have to complete progressively more tasks as new content is added to get the same badge as others' bit? Yeah... Does @PeregrineFalcon have a super deluxe 'no way in hell, over my dead body' /jranger gif I can borrow for this? Or anyone else? -
That would fail to notify people until the streamer broadcasted or said something in tells, team chat, or league chat. Edit: Right, of course new page. To avoid possible confusion, this post was in response to @Oklahoman.

Rise of the Phoenix and Soul Transfer buffs?

You are in error. While Fiery Aura has 0 KB protection, so does Dark Armor, Electric Armor, Invulnerability, Regeneration, and Stone Armor. And while Fiery Aura only has Stun protection as a status protection, Invulnerability and Stone Armor have no status protections. While I agree with your assessment about Fiery Aura's primary, and seemingly only as far as I have personally seen so far, use, your status protection argument fails. Edit: Further, in regards to your 0 defense statement, Electric Armor, Invulnerability, Radiation Armor, and Regeneration also have 0 defenses. So Stone Armor and Invulnerability are both decidedly worse off than Fiery Aura using your justification. (That said, I still agree with your assessment.) -
Comparing a cone attack to a goes where ever the enemies are attack doesn't work. Cones to cones. Cryonic to Vorpal. That said... Vorpal's cone is 120 feet at 120 degrees to Cryonic's 120 feet at 45 degrees. So yeah, Cryonic needs a better cone. Though Vorpal does need the character to be facing in the direction of the attack or it does not go where the player wants.

Using Cryonic or Vorpal as base: Summon Tsunami. Using Void as base: Giant Whirlpool.

No Powers in Power Trays after Character Creation
Rudra replied to Apparition's topic in Bug Reports
Usually, the bug only hits me if I did not do any of the tutorials on the character. -
You can just make yourself the pathing beacon whenever you have to go through sewer rooms like that. Keep the voltaic sentinel/singularity in view and guide it through. Or just re-summon. Or just avoid the sewers. They all work.

The Voltaic Sentinel problem strikes again.

Quoting @Frozen Burn to reply to @Zappalina. If it is a location where players may gather routinely, it has drones protecting it. AE is a place where players may gather, you know, to do AE arcs, just like at trainers and at the gates (since we used to actually use those to get around the city).

No Powers in Power Trays after Character Creation

It happened a few times to me back on Live too. *shrug* Never really gave it any thought. -
Remove alignment-driven confirmation pop-up
Rudra replied to srmalloy's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Agreed. If the color coded area and the faction specific door guard aren't clue enough that you are going red side or blue side from Pocket D, then I don't know what to say. Don't need the game to ask me "Are you SURE you want to go to your desired zone?" every time I try to use the built in gates. -
Rise of the Phoenix and Soul Transfer buffs?
Rudra replied to Ston's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
It makes no difference. Those characters outnumber all other characters combined for a reason. I disagree. It is likely just my perception of it, but fire farming seems to be the most lucrative way to gain xp or inf'. So those looking to max gains will build for it specifically. Either way, I doubt either of us will convince the other. (The fact we are trying to change each other's minds on something we more or less agree on is rather funny to me though.) -

Sooooooooo... get badge early or risk having a much longer slog to get it than others? I was already against this idea, but this cements my opposition to it. -
Rise of the Phoenix and Soul Transfer buffs?
Rudra replied to Ston's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
It wasn't missed. My comments were made to emphasize yours, since it was your idea about that that got me to think "Okay, maybe the self-rezzes could stand a limited buff". Apologies for being unclear about that. -
They are already confused and attacking each other. Just because they are not hitting each other as often as you like does not mean they need an accuracy or to hit buff. Especially since the more damage they do to each other, the less xp/inf' you get from them. And if they are meandering? That is still a valid confusion act. Though I have never personally witnessed a confused enemy just meander around. Keep changing targets between former allies? Yes. Just wander around like an idiot? I wish. The only time I see enemies just meandering, is when they are stunned/disoriented. Edit: I should clarify my comment. Confused enemies exhibiting poor and inconsistent behavior makes sense, seeing as they are confused. A confused person does not really know what they are doing. In the game mechanics, confusion causes a target shift between friend and foe. And lacking a high aggro former friend to draw their attention, confused mobs will split their attacks randomly between targets. Just as MM pets do when there is no target with a higher aggro level than other possible targets. I am not aware of confused mobs suffering any accuracy or to hit debuffs for being confused, so why should being confused buff them? The way I read your suggestion, is you want confused mobs to exhibit better control than player uncontrolled pets, and enjoy better accuracy/to hit just for being confused. (And I say uncontrolled, because MMs can give orders to their pets to overcome the random aggro.) Your suggestion makes no sense. Edit again: And before any argument that confused mobs should not be compared to pets is made, they are pets. They are underling to boss level temporary pets that the controller/dominator can use. And attack. And just like the fire imps or jack frost, they attack whatever they feel like within their aggro range. Using their own accuracy and to hit because they are temporary pets.

Rise of the Phoenix and Soul Transfer buffs?

I'm hard pressed to thing of a situation where rezzing immediately would be a bad thing, but that doesn't mean there is no such situation. Leaving the rez in the hands of the player to trigger is fine. Like I said previously, I like the self rezzes. As they are. I am opposed to specific changes to them. Just saying there are some modifications I will not oppose. The rezzes need to stay rezzes. -

Disagree. My take is that it triggers when your health hits 0, and if auto, does not count as a death against things like Master runs. -
Rise of the Phoenix and Soul Transfer buffs?

I must have missed the memo. That or I never got added to the Blaster Notification list. I only use Flame Mastery on my Fire Blast blaster. I use the other epic sets. Does that statistic differentiate between characters made just to fire farm versus PvP or regular play? If you can give me a stat that says Fiery Aura characters outnumber everything else in any play outside of AE fire farms, I will accept that. Don't care what category, as long as it is not AE fire farming. My question is, how many Fiery Aura characters skip the rez? How many Dark Armor characters skip the rez? Why are they skipping it if they are? Is that a flag that the power itself, not the set, needs to be looked at? I personally like the self-rezzes. I take them on every character I make that has those sets. I am also aware that my power choices seem to in the fringe. So if the P2W and temp self-rezzes get nerfed to make the AT self-rezzes look more enticing to others? That's fine with me. If the AT self-rezzes get a boost that does not change what they are for? That is also fine with me. If people want the AT self-rezzes to be modified so they can be used when still fighting? I have a problem with that. So let's bandy this idea about some more and hopefully we can get some more specific stats or feedback on it.
