  1. I've never been accused of this before... this is new. No. I don't care how people have fun. Where is the challenge/fun when you are level 50 fighting level 9 mobs? "And behold! The level 50 Stricken hits my incarnate with Brawl! And the level 50 Stricken hits my incarnate with Brawl again! And this is so fun!"
  2. Well, at least you know you're going to get burned for this one. And you even gave a good reason why this should not be done. So... bravo? Edit: Seriously, if people want to power level to 50+3, that's fine. If they want to experience the content, go for it. If they out-leveled the content, they can do Ouroboros which still leaves them plenty stronger than the content was actually made for since they get all powers up to +5 to the mission and all enhancements.
  3. Yeah, the fortress areas of Cimerora are crawling with 51-54 mobs. Mostly 54s from what I saw. With EBs all over the outer perimeter of the fortress.
  4. No, I did not. I typically am only in RWZ long enough to do the Vanguard arcs, then I go elsewhere. It makes sense to have Rikti heavies there though. They are defending the mothership. Having them pop up in PI though with no active invasion? I'm still opposed to. For reasons given. (Just add mothership defense to short list of where they appear.)
  5. That would fall under the extra-dimensional arcs we already have. If you are asking for radio missions like that, I very much disagree. Portal Corps does a pretty bad job at keeping their staff safe using their portals, but if they are so bad that it now extends to Peregrine Island itself, then Portal Corps needs to just be shut down. If you are asking for more Portal Corps missions from contacts or a new contact, probably in the Portal Corps main building, that gives random missions like the First Ward/Night Ward random mission contacts, then sure.
  6. To me, it is a pretty simple thing. /altinvite was provided because players wanted a way to get their alts into their personal use only SGs. (You know, without having to get a friend to join, invite the alt, give back leadership, and then possibly leave.) We already have a means of doing what the OP wants, it just has 5 steps. Log out, log in leader or permitted alt, /altinvite new alt, log out, log in now member of SG new alt. I understand that those extra 5 steps are undesirable to the OP. However, since we already have the means to get our alts into our personal use only SGs, this request feels less like a QoL thing and more a you asked for pie and are upset you didn't get <insert preferred pie>. The devs can decide if they are willing to work on adding an /altjoin command. The OP posted a suggestion, we gave feedback based on our own views. That is all anyone can do. So if the devs add this? Fine. If they don't? Who cares. We already have the means to do what the OP wants.
  7. I think the highlighted part is being missed. This seems a reasonable idea to me. No, it wasn't missed. Not by me anyway. I simply deemed it irrelevant. We already have /altinvite. And like @Six-Six said, grabbing your for own use only SG leader or designated members permitted to accept invites to /altinvite your new toon takes very, very little time. Edit: Why not take the request to the next logical level? All characters you make on any given server are automatically in your SG. Note that this is not me saying this is a good idea. I am being facetious. Normally I'm all for things that make a player's life easier, but this is just too much. You can't take the time to change characters and /altinvite? (Edit again: Which was created specifically for this purpose. So you can get your alts into your SG.) Edit take 3: Funniest part about me saying this is a bad idea? I have 3 SGs on Everlasting that I made that are just me. I put different alts in each one based on theme. So I have to remember which characters can do /altinvite for all 3 SGs, and sometimes I don't actually remember. And I am still opposed to this suggestion.
  8. Yeah, I'm with @Six-Six on this. We have /altinvite. We don't need /altjoin. The whole point of /altinvite was so we could get our alts into our SG without needing to ask someone to act as intermediary and invite us(, and hope they gave control back after wards). Wanting an /altjoin goes against the way a SG works.
  9. *pats @biostem on shoulder and hands Defecation Deflection Device (patent pending)* You're gonna need this.... Null being in other zones has already been asked. And the sheer hate of the idea was... ... wow.... So, uhm, good luck....
  10. Duplication of an abhorred character in same "zone" comes to mind. Kind of like asking for there to be two Ms. Liberties in Atlas Park. Maybe just strip the dialogue from Null the Gull and make him a menu-driven interaction instead?
  11. Resistance or Loyalist? Who would the contact be? Could Loyalists do it if a Resistance TF or could Resistance do it if a Loyalist TF? How would this fit in with current content where return trips to Praetoria are fighting against Tyrant and the IDF or fighting against the forces of Praetorian Hamidon? What would be the justification for player characters who are supposedly gearing up to save Primal Earth from Praetoria to go to Praetoria to fight for either side? (This last question is obviously about non-Praetorian characters going to do the TF.) Edit: The problem as I see it is that when you are red side, regardless of alignment, you are treated as a villain for the purposes of doing SFs. When you are blue side regardless of alignment, you are treated as a hero for doing TFs. At least for joining one in both cases, though you may not be able to start one if the wrong alignment. Then you get to Ouroboros where you have a TF available to both sides, but both sides can be present at the same time. And suddenly the TF won't launch because you have players of the wrong alignment. Now you are extending the Ouroboros Mender Silos TF problem to Praetoria.
  12. Why not? Be more specific please I thought the reason was in the question, but I will clarify. 1) I am opposed to granting invasion specific badges outside of the invasion event. 2) The Rikti bombs are specific purpose targets used in some Vanguard missions as part of a Rikti assault and for the actual invasion event. 3) Rikti bombs do not fight back. That is free XP/Inf'. At least during the invasion, you only have a limited window to get them. 4) Rikti heavies are only brought out in response to a significant threat to the Rikti invasion force or to Hro'Dtohz (in a specific mission). (At least they fight back though.) 5) There are already ample targets to hunt in PI for street sweep xp, as well as the AE farms that tend to show up. Adding limited use high value targets for people to farm outside of intended purpose strikes me as being wrong, especially just for gathering xp/inf'. Are you going to ask for DE Transformation Pods in DE areas in PI too?
  13. Let's be honest. While the game does track mission location even when in other zones, otherwise team transporter and mission transporter wouldn't work, there will be no flags added to the trams other than 'mission is in this zone'. My guess would be because the game has specific preset mission doors that most missions choose from randomly. (Some use set doors rather than random.) This just requires the game to track which map and associated coordinates for the door transport powers, or which map for flagging trams. Now we would need to have the game track that, look up grid coordinates for the trams, perform separate calculations to determine distance between mission and each tram, compare the distances, and then assign a flag to a specific tram. And in cases such as seems to happen surprisingly often in Skyway City and to a lesser extent in Independence Port, when the mission door is equidistant to the trams, which tram is the calculation supposed to flag? So like @biostem said, this would require the addition of unnecessary calculations for the game, and adds more room for failure. However, in multiple threads the request for changing how the trams work to mirror the ferries has been brought up. And not just by me. So, devs, if you are reading this, can we please please please please PLEASE get trams that don't lock us out from selecting our destinations? Can we please get trams that work like the ferries? So at least then when we choose the wrong tram we aren't stuck standing at the tram gate waiting to be able to select it?
  14. Edit the chat tab that has the notices. Make sure hero event messages, villain event messages, and event messages are all enabled. Then no matter what alignment you are, it will always tell you. Often with 2 messages.
  15. TUNNEL connects Atlas, Talos, Founder's, and PI. None of those have player drop offs at opposite ends of the zone like Steel Canyon, Skyway City, and Independence Port. And the OP is specifically asking about zones with two player drop off points from trams. None of which TUNNEL connects to. And I almost always pick the wrong drop off point. Even when I run with the premise that I tend to do that and go with the other choice. So having a flag for closest terminal, or even better, having trams that don't let you be able to click them working like the ferries instead, would be great.
  16. It's pure nuisance factor, but yeah, every time I take the tram to the wrong terminal in zone, when I get to the tram door, I have to wait for it to cycle for use. How about if the trams just work like ferries? Maybe? Please?
  17. Agree to disagree. I'll let more sensible heads than mine debate the pros and cons of this.
  18. If you can sort by level, then why would you need another filter to sort by level accessible? You are further muddying your suggestion, confusing me. When you said usable, I figured you wanted the game to limit what enhancements in your bins could be slotted in your powers. Except you also list by type. So to dumb this down far enough for me to understand, you want these filters: Level Enhancement Type (Dam, Acc, End, etc.) Set Type (Actual set or non-set) No Filter You can already do a lot of that by designating specific bins for specific types like I do, but you want to just have all bins for all enhancements and have the devs add a filter to them. ... Okay, sure. I don't support this suggestion, but at least I won't oppose it either. You do you.
  19. Yeah... that is what I am against. Supports aren't supposed to be tanking. If they are going to be support types, I would rather they retained the current support vulnerabilities. If the melee support can tank and it has the primary supports people want, using your example of Transfusion and Fulcrum Shift, then why bother playing any other support? Because the other supports get Speed Boost? If the melee can spam AoE heals as part of the attack chain, AND use Fulcrum Shift to further enhance the team regardless of muted or not, AND hold the line soaking damage while ignoring mezzes, then you are your own team. The other supports are not needed any more.
  20. It already shows who deposited it. (The 1st person at least.) How would the game check for usable as opposed to not usable? The only filters you are asking for that I see actually being able to be implemented, is level and type. Edit: The group can already designate specific bins be used for specific enhancements, it just requires the group to use the bins as such. It is what I do in my bases. Specific racks are for rare salvage or uncommon salvage, and they have color coded flags to mark them. (No common salvage in the racks, use your base provided personal storage vault for those if you want.) Specific bins are for purples and HOs, others are for sets other than purples, and they are separated by location.
  21. So you want a permanent Rikti invasion that awards the Rikti bomb and heavy badges without the need for the invasion or a large enough group to get (for the heavies at least)? No.
  22. Except as I understand it, it could not be done this way because of how the powers work. Hence Null gives you an unlisted power that protects you from it. So not so simple.
  23. Either the melee support AT will outshine the current supports, or it will be phenomenal garbage compared to them and not be used. So yeah, gonna say no too.
  24. RoP has a 2 power cost to it. SoW has a take the AT's set cost.
  25. This was basically already brought up in Suggestion: Make the Personal ID window bigger and easier to use! where one of the asks was for the bio/character description window to be fixed.
