I have been addicted to games that have replay value. For the longest time, I always have a replay value game in Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri. When CoX was gone this was my go-to for years. I still have the installation CDs. There are almost limitless values to CoH (as long as it's available). Are there any other games to you that hold that value to you? If this has already been asked, I don't mean to duplicate. Just asking.

I had similar results with my SS/EA Brute back on Live. If I was point with my Brute, I'd die a lot. I had to rely on team buffs/debuffs. I mostly also had generic IOs in my build. Got tired of trying to take the Alpha so I let my friend's SS/INV Brute run point. This was also before they added the heal.

Nobody says I want to grow up to be a villain. But the really good villians know they're actually heroes. They have a means to an end. Just because you lack the vision to see it isn't their fault.

I don't quite have Marketing down to how good you are but I was working Saturday from time to time throughout the day. With just a little effort I probably made 150-200 million doing the roulette routine. Maybe 2-3 hours worth of marketing/crafting/buying/selling. I did start out with 20 million by converting Merits to Converters though.

What if the AE farmers decided to sell their drops for 4 times (or more) of what they're currently selling? THAT would cause all kinds of havoc. I mean, they don't need the $. I'm not recommending this happen just presenting a what if...?

I got upset when I found out Superman was taken. So I went with tafilr.

I've got a StJ/Bio Stalker at level 33 that's pretty fun to play - criticals left and right. Like you said, very sturdy. I also have a level 22 Brute that is StJ/ something or other. Also fun to play. I can't comment on StJ Scrapper as I don't have one of those

I'm an advocate for Super Reflexes. Easy to softcap your defense. Easy to pay for a couple of IOs to address any endurance issues. Once you get those things taken care of, it's recharge mule time with LotGs. Which means you pick 3 or 4 of your offensive powers that hit the hardest for your attack chain. FWIW, I like Bio Armor too though.

Alts - not a problem unless you consider it one. Feed the addiction!

So a lull between level 21 - 35? I plan on putting some IO damage procs in where I can to maybe at a minimum replace what was there. As far as Freezing Rain, I have that sucker 3 slotted with damage SOs, they still only tick for 1 damage per hit. So a waste of damage SOs/slots there.

I finally hit 22 last night thinking SOs were going to solve my lack of damage problems. I think what has happened was that I was spoiled by the P2V procs you get at level 1 that were slotted and have now expired. Now that I have gone past level 21, my damage is very lack-luster. Even with SOs. So as a solo-leveling-Controller, just wondering what I should look for in IOs and my build. Any help would be appreciated.

Before they had the invention system, I used Acrobatics. Now that KB protection can be bought, this is my choice. Every time.

I can relate, somewhat, regarding INF. My first 4 50's here I used the double XP options in P2W. So I too was using the Fire Farmer for those expensive items. I've kind of gravitated to the Merit to Converter route since then though. I'd rather badge hunt or run TFs for Merits than Fire Farm (but that's just me).

Do you think it would be OK to cap the number of bids? Conversely, would it be a good idea to fake supply? I can see if the latter was implemented, someone bidding some obscure amount and becoming frustrated because the bid 'should' be high enough. Don't you think that would break the Market?

Yeah, I was going to mention the Merit cost but as you said, it's not worth it. Was hoping I was missing another (valid) option to acquire ATOs - so guess not. Booo!
