Not sure if this answers the question in the way it was asked but I typically spend the first 15-20 minutes logging in my characters that have sat for 3+ days and auto-complete a radio/paper mission. I go through the list of almost 40 characters and that's just on Torchbearer. The other time I'm logged into CoH, I'm playing (missions, teams, soloing, crafting, /ah, respec'ing, accolade-badging, etc.). I guess I do typically have Mid's/Pine's open messing around with builds on my second monitor along with the Homecoming forums open.

So it's not just me. Not sure if that's a good/bad thing!?! Anyway, I ran my same Brute again last night, still same double buildup sound issue. So, probably not a glitch on my system.

Can you share the model of laptop and the video card model? You would find the video card model by right clicking the Start menu>Device Manager>Expand Display Adapter. For example, my work laptop has an Intel(R) HD Graphics 515 display adapter. It doesn't run game very well because it's not a gaming graphics card.

What is the computer Manufacturer? For example, Dell, HP, Asus, Lenovo have websites or applications you can use to stay up to date on drivers.

I'm just sitting here reading this thread and came to the realization that if I were a volunteer staffer for Homecoming and I had to read this kind of stuff, I'd probably walk away. I mean, "GMs/Devs/DMs, how do you put up with this shite...and for free?"

Just another opinion but I think the new content pace is fine given the situation. /no complaints

I was running my Radiation Melee/Electric Armor Brute yesterday and noticed when I used Fusion (build up), it sounds like it fires off twice (every time). So just a sound issue. It wasn't actually doing a double-build up, although that would have been cool.

Does group fly not prompt a yes or no by default? Seems to me it should with some kind of instructions on how to change the default setting. Then everyone wins, right?

I ran the most recent update which caused issues so I uninstalled/reinstalled Mids. Kept getting errors when trying to open after installing. What I did to remedy the error is to right-click the installer package (MRB_Setup.msi) and choose Properties. Select the Unblock checkbox at bottom/apply/ok. Then installed. Running fine now. Just sharing in case anyone else runs into the same issue.

Is there any way to soft cap ranged defense before level 40 without having to spend 250+ million INF on sets? Even with Thunderstrike on pretty much every ranged attack, getting to about 43%. Now I can go and farm for INF to buy them but wondering if there's a path of lesser resistance available? That 43% number is even with the Steadfast 3% global along with the Gladiator 3% global DEF bonuses. Plan on playing in Hover mode.

Can't you see the incarnate alpha power slotted in the team window buffs if you're teaming with said character? Maybe I'm wrong.

So just to clarify, the badges not showing up in Mayhem/Safeguard missions is a known bug, are excluded for some other reason, or is it a PC/installation issue with VidiotMaps software? For example, the Atlas Safeguard badge location is pretty much at your starting location so I don't miss that one. Even though I have VidiotMaps loaded, the badge icon doesn't appear on my map even though the fog of war is cleared.

Cool - regarding those limited time buffs that are craftable. Any idea on the numbers used to describe the buffs: "slightly" for End Mod or KB protection the terminology used is "some protection". Just curious about the numbers so I can rationalize time/resources vs. reward. I mean...are they worth crafting? Probably better off getting permanent KB protection for a few million is my point.

I was just going to inquire about Mayhem and Safeguard missions and badge locations. I have VidiotMaps loaded but the badges don't appear. Probably has to do with the "fog of war" or "black/unexplored" parts of the zones? Then I saw the post above: https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Category:VidiotMaps I'll use these for those specific badge missions. That is...unless I'm missing something.

Try scrolling down in your Incarnate window. Thread options are below the shard options, IIRC.

I was just dinking around with Mids and saw this Ninja Training secondary set available for Blasters. I haven't tried it so won't knock it. Although, I have a hard time thematically making sense of any primary other than Archery making sense. Perhaps I have a limited sense of imagination. Any feedback on playing Ninja Training for Blasters?

Had a chance to check out your base work. Very impressive. Question. I was looking for a portal to Echo: Galaxy City and couldn't find it in the base. Did I simply miss it or did you not put it in there on purpose? I ended asking the help channel and was guided to Ouroborus so I got what was needed.

Could be worse. You could be a FA/EM Tanker. Stay the Brute course, hope that they fix EM, but roll another primary.

So just noticed that when I select Corruptor, Ice Blast for Primary, Cold Domination for Secondary, when I select the power Ice Bolt, it instantly goes from 83.42 damage to 166.9 (83.42). I haven't added enhancements or slots yet. I thought it was maybe something I clicked on accidentally so uninstalled/reinstalled Mids'. Same issue. What am I doing wrong? Why is it doing this?

Ah, OK, I see. So the Mid's builder is wrong. I need to go and revamp slotting on my Energy Draining Brute.

I don't follow the Energy Drain Defense mention. It gets a .32% defensive buff per enemy - got this number as a Brute. Even if you hit 15 enemies (this may be over the cap, not sure), this gives 4.8% Defense Buff. /scratches head That's too much defense? Perhaps I'm misunderstanding something....
