I noticed that a few of the ATOs for Tankers or example were at zero or one/two. Is there any other way to replenish supply other than buying Super Packs? I haven't tried using an Enhancement Converter for example to get what I need.

Just curious if anyone has leveled up an Ice Brute (either/and Ice Melee or Armor). Thoughts? I rolled an Ice/Ice Brute, got to level 8 then had to log so not enough of a sample to give thoughts. Specifically, looking for feedback on things like Chilling Embrace having negative effect on Fury generation. With the recent changes to Fury, maybe it's not that big of a deal.

What's odd to me is that everyone keeps talking about the Development team being just a few/small. Dozens of people have offered their talents. Yet the team remains small. Is this a trust thing?

Ice/Cold or Ice/Kin Corruptor would pair well. Your defensive shields with Cold help his resistance armors round out his survivability. And your single target Ice attacks help put down the harder targets. Kin would boost +END and provide good heals/buffs. Honestly, just pick what you want to play. Pretty much anything will work. It's about the enjoyment of playing and all...

I don't think I'd be able to solo any iTrial with ANY of my top 3 characters. Guess I suck as a player. Maybe I should try the forehead thing.

I kind of always had this idea about the typical CoX player liking the game for what it is...the combat system, teaming dynamics, costume creator, etc. The folks that are on the constant search for the next new challenging MMO that's going to fulfill their life - this game probably won't fulfill you long term. Who knows? Maybe I'm wrong.

I'd have to slightly agree about the Incarnate stuff making the game easy. You get a character that has T4 everything Incarnate, fully ATO'ed out, they can blaze through pretty much everything solo. But it takes some work to get there, even if you are power-leveling through the grind. But we have a choice. For example, I choose not to go through with all of the Incarnate material because I'm already pretty powerful. So...for the most part, I skip it. I'd rather spend my time leveling up another character that I enjoy playing. Because that's what I like doing. To each their own.

Yeah, I always look for Mike or Mxxxx whenever I ding 50. The last couple have been in the 40-45 hours range. Remember when it took 250 hours to get to 50 and that was somewhat 'respectable' or 'fast'?

Not in an instance. Was in Faultline zone. Was fully leveled up. I'll have to try again tonight.

I have a level 22 Stalker that keeps getting a Respec Failed message. I've tried it 3 times. Troubleshooting?

The only thing I do with Merits is buy Converters and sell them. I then take this INF and get my characters the good stuff. I attest that having ATOs or even IOs vs just SOs is a huge difference. SOs are for Heroes and Villains and are totally fine themselves. But ATOs/IOs make your characters Legendary. Many of which you can slot starting at level 7.

I honestly don't recall my very first character but the first character that seemed to stick was Fan Mail, Fire/EM Blaster. There indeed was life after the numerous PuGs in Perez Park! When I started playing CoH, I was on dial-up. It actually wasn't too bad to play at the time. I picked up Hover as my first travel power. Does anyone remember when the Council or whatever they were at the start of Issue 2 or 3 doing the invasion in lowbie zones? I started CoH a few days before that invasion thing went live. The other thing to consider is the hopeful future legal legitimacy of Homecoming. In case there would be a boost in player base if the game was advertised in some way after the fact. Technically, we're all illegals!

That's a pretty large napkin. You must have used both sides. My contribution to the thread. I've ran an all-blaster team a couple times back on my time on Champion. In theory and maybe on a napkin, it looks good. But the results were crap. Team wipe after team wipe granted we didn't coordinate our powers (everyone picks up Maneuvers, etc.). It was just grab a blaster and lets fill the team with them. This was back using the sidekick system though too so it was hell putting a team together in the first place let alone an 8 person blaster team. Something also to note: blaster nukes back then zero'd out your blue bar and stayed that way for awhile not this easy-peasy endurance cost we have now for nukes.

It's probably the cheap-ass in me but I just couldn't bring myself to spend $50 on a mouse when I could get a free Dell mouse from the work stockpile box of mice and put $50 in my kid's 529 College Fund. Edit: Glad you found what you were looking for though!

If I can front the billion INF and the time it takes to craft it all, what makes you think I need 138 million INF? Not trying to be negative Nelly, just saying it wouldn't be for me. That's 30-60 minutes of AE fire farming (I know, others can do that faster). That's more worth my time. /shrug On the flip side, if you could GET someone to do this for you, good luck!

This is probably a Windows settings (you have Windows 10 operating system, correct?). Right-click desktop>Display Settings>Identify monitors. The monitor that you want CoH to open on click it - choose option to make your main/default display.

Almost 1/3 of the online player-base is on Excelsior it seems (according to the Server Status page). Just wondering if you have the constant lag like the old Freedom and Virtue servers.

I'm going to start charging people to team with me because I'm that good. But my fee is only 10 million for 3 missions. Teaming with me is the same as being power leveled.
