My Scrapper, MA/SR, from Live, around Issue 5 maybe, didn't notice. Then again, I wasn't near the player then that I am now. Would probably, definitely notice the LONG wait for AOE DEF now. 10-15 years on a dude really makes a difference. /shrug
I would just like to point out that I'm only responsible for 40 of these 1,000,000 characters. The player screen told me I get 1000 slots so I haven't really made a dent in it yet.
Just following up on this potential bug. Logged in my character that I thought had the problem. Saw the AH message: you have 257 sold items. So...not me, I guess?
Still having the problem @seebs?
I have one too. And it's always the same character that is selling a ton of stuff. You know when you go to check /ah and you choose Get All or whatever the button is and you get the auto-tell saying it's busy, try later. Guess I haven't checked the at login messages when I'm only selling/sold a few items. So maybe that's just a coincidence.
I used to Brute a lot too but the new fun (for me) is Stalkers. I had no idea how powerful AND fast they were since the changes. I solo a lot though so maybe that's not your forte.
I don't have a character that can tear through miscellaneous mobs quicker than my Elec/Shield Stalker. Just nasty. Saying miscellaneous mobs because my Spines/Fire Brute Farmer doesn't really count. THAT is a one trick pony.
I've played this game for over 10,000 hours between Live and HC (maybe more hours than that). In pursuit of the best character to play solo. I think I've found it. Electric Melee/Shield Stalker. How about you? Have you found your gold mine?
Yep. Myrmy, SG leader of BOSS at one point IIRC, and many other Champion players setup shop on Excelsior here.
I think you posted elsewhere regarding the Pingus. Haven't heard much from or about them here on HC.
Part of the fun for me is to start my new characters out with zero like others have mentioned. Then when I get a good drop, I craft it, and it's still exciting. Someone else mentioned journey being the fun not necessarily the destination. This is pretty much me to a tee. Up to 45 total characters and I pretty much like them all - only 3 level 50s on HC. I'm probably sitting on 450 million INF between them. But I'm good for now. That is, until another goal is set.
Just so we're all on the same page. Generic IOs go two accuracy, end redux, recharge, two damage (for most offensive powers). And in that order. We do NOT put end redux or recharge in the last slot. Thank you.
Doesn't ED (Enhancement Diversification) kick in here and pretty much cut you off at pretty much zero benefit after slotting 3 endmods? Perhaps I'm missing something.
