Is there a formula for Scrapper criticals or is it just a percentage chance based on con level? I did a quick search and couldn't find any numbers.

The challenge with answering your question is it's subjective - that is, someone's opinion. If I say the entire power pool of Presence sucks donkey balls, someone will come around and provide some obscure situational reply to refute. And maybe they'd be right and I would be wrong. Or vice-versa. I guess to answer the question as best as I could, I would take it upon myself to try each power. If you don't like it, respec. Or try things out on Pineapple/Test as that's fairly simple to do. Probably not the answer you were looking for....

Didn't happen today but recently - as in the last few days...I put some crafted enhancements on /ah and posted, they were grey in the window. Kept clicking on post because it just hung in limbo and I was robbed a couple million INF. Maybe unrelated. Meh...whatever.

Giving Fitness inherent and a travel power at level four has completely changed the early game, no doubt. Or before there were radio/paper missions, you'd have to do all of those kill 50 outdoor sweep missions over and over. As far as the thread topic, I'd like to know why the Detectives didn't get phones in the first place???

Sure, I follow. It just makes crafting in the base a non-option for me if I have to rezone to buy salvage/recipes from AH. So I craft in a publicly available area instead of my base.

Cool, glad you got it figured out. I only combine inspirations to make them red to keep my damage capped out. Have a heal every 30 seconds or so that seems to work for me. YMMV.

I'm working towards this build as well. Have about half of it purchased and sitting at level 38. I'm guessing I'm going to spend around 500 million INF to complete it. Just farmed a bit last night to help with the cost (I loathe farming but will do it as a means to an end).

If I solo level 34 to 35 I get way more drops than if I were to do a full 8 person team doing the same. Your answer makes sense I guess but it just doesn't seem right. If I were solely looking for drops, I'll guess I'll go farm.

We all like teams, well most of us. But you know, going from solo'ing quite a bit to teaming, the drops just aren't there. Shouldn't we look at fixing that? Perhaps the Suggestion forum would be better for this. Thoughts?

Can't speak for other players but I don't usually put any recipes on the market that aren't in demand unless there's a few or none available. For me, it comes down to how much inf can I get? Would I get more just selling a recipe to contact? If it's not a rare and it's worth more selling to my contact, it gets sold to the contact. On the flip side, if you're talking about the recipes everyone else is after, you're going to have to pay a premium for them (like everyone else). Edit: This was an interesting conundrum I had to get through because I never considered myself a farmer regarding my 'pay a premium' comment. Now I would say I am.

Yeah, I wouldn't do a Brute since 1 or 2 mobs will not take advantage of Fury. The Scrappers/Stalkers' criticals win in this scenario.

I always end up going back to MA/SR. I'm not big on weapon-yielding though so that limits my options.

The good news is to look at all of the options you have. And you have exercised them. You can roll Rathstar 1000+ times until you find the one you settle on. Or you can go back to one of the other ones. On a related topic, there's no way in hell I'm re-rolling my first level 50 back on live. I'm not doing a DM/Reg Scrapper for 50 levels again. Sands of Mu has killed this and Regen...well, we know the history there.

When I saw that other thread about solo'ing TFs, I got excited and tried Positron 1 and 2. Was able to complete Posi 1 with my Fire/EM blaster. Positron 2? Not so much. I couldn't get Dr. Vahz past about half health before I ran out of inspirations and he would finish me off. I think I was level 18 at the time so it's not like I was level 50 and all decked out. I never finished the Posi 2. Now, I didn't try and get creative with summoning Shivans to tank and/or tactics like that. Maybe if I was more prepared, I could have finished but I just carved it up as a loss and moved on. Some day I'll go back and complete it.

I don't know if I agree with Villains being over-powered compared to Heroes but I will agree that Red-side is harder than blue. Even though you didn't say that! lol For example, do a rob the bank mission, go straight to bank with a lvl 8ish whatever (Brute, Corruptor, Dom, MM...). Don't you dare go after the in-bank mobs before you wait and clear the 3 waves of Longbow. If/when you defeat the Longbow, then the mission goes back to manageable. Now, post level 12, meh, I can handle it. Ok, that's my contribution to your thread.

In the case things go south here (certainly not saying I want them to), I have taken it upon myself to download the binaries to run out of my home on my own hardware if need be. Nothing is going to steal my precious again. I see this as related to your topic. In a way...

I just saw another commercial on TV about the outside cameras you can buy on ring.com and had to share with you what this has to do with City of X. You see, there used to be a player that played on Champion named Ring - mostly known for playing a Tank. I remember before him leaving he mentioned in a forum post that he owned the internet domain ring.com and wondered if anyone was interested in buying it. Well, I hope he sold it for millions! So you have two Brutes that are both Claws/SR? Are they at least different genders? Curious why you'd do two of the same.

I don't know how you guys do it. I just can't play the same character for hours and hours on end. I think my highest lvl 50 is vet level 4 or 5??? The incarnate stuff is interesting but I find playing ALTs to be MORE interesting. Anyways, good luck.
