  1. No. Absorb is a different enhancement and you'll find it on the Alpha Slots that increase resistance. (The radial side, if I remember correctly)
  2. So, I put a level 50 tank Invulnerability/Dark Melee tank together on test, and it feels alright. I put a full set of the new Synapse set into Dark Consumption. It played pretty well. It recharges a bit faster than Soul Drain, the way I have things slotted out currently. It's fun. I'm looking forward to seeing what it's like leveling with it. Shadow Maul worked well, though I'm more interested to seeing how that plays at lower levels.

  5. The Hydraulic lift also explains why the 'elevators' only go up one floor. There have also got to be very thick between floor areas to accommodate the pistons. And the lifts aren't light, so the buildings need thicker floors and walls to support all the weight, thus also explaining the lack of windows. Those are all load bearing walls.
  6. No, that's the trick. There are no '1500 lb max' elevators because there are no elevators. It's all hydraulic lifts with a much higher weight limit. It's also why there are no wires hanging in the shafts when one of them breaks.
  7. It's the recharge time on Practiced Brawler. It needs what, about 60% recharge to be up all the time?
  8. This my current draft of my Super Reflexes/ Staff tanker. I'm thinking of dropping Field Medic and picking up flight. I haven't figured out how to hit 59% defense Ranged and AoE yet. I get up to 57% with Agility or Nerve. I'm waffling about taking a recharge slot of out practiced brawler, putting it in School of Sharks and swapping Overwhelming Force for Superior Frozen Blast, but I'm a little worried about exemplaring below level 22 if I do that. Edit: I suppose that, if I can make it through Dark Astoria, Blessing of Tikkealu is a 2% defense boost with more than an 80 hour duration.   9. I had a time where I was buying Exploited Vulnerability because they're guaranteed to convert into Achilles's Heel.
  10. Street Justice is not exactly what I'd call a combo set. It's resource set. Some attacks build a resource and some attacks spend that resource. Dual Blades has the mechanics that I consider a combo set. The issue is that the resource Street Justice uses are called "Combo Levels" So it's "Combat Readiness > Finisher > Builder > Builder > Builder > Finisher Not counting the build-up replacement (that gives you three combo levels) there are four combo builders and three finishing moves. Now that bruising is gone, it makes more sense to start with Rib Cracker than Initial Strike, regardless of what the name says. Savage Melee is kind of similar, except the blood fury stacks give recharge reduction and and endurance cost reduction for active stacks, so you have a reason not to spend them on the finishing movies.
  11. One of the ninjitsu powers on Sentinels does this exact thing, stealth and a damage bonus from stealth. (also a run and jump speed boost)
  12. I named a longsword stalker Cutty Pierce with the battle cry "Let's have bash" but it doesn't really fit the character concept, so I'm going to have to figure out a new name.
  13. I would like to see Warshade FX added as an option to Dark blast, Dark Melee and Dark Armour, with Peacebringer FX added to Energy Blast, Energy Melee, and Electric Armour. Dr. Helix already exists as a character who uses Warshade FX without having any connection to warshade lore (She's specifically using power armour).

  16. Okay, it looks like, if you want a farming build, the idea is to softcap your defenses. On a Fire/Super Strength tank, that means either 45% Smashing/Lethal, 45% Fire, or maybe 45% Melee (which might be the easiest) This build doesn't get softcap either, but it's got a sight more defense.   19. It's kind of helpful to have an idea of what your goals with the build are.
  20. Okay, I am so tempted to slot this into a damage aura while it's still broken and just see everything flop around.
  21. Is it possible that you've also got Avalanche six slotted and this is the same as the Shield Charge issue?
  22. There's the "defeat 100 enemies in two minutes" mission that seems like it'd be difficult (but I didn't try because I was on a Psi Melee tank with two attacks and Praetorian Clockwork are notoriously psi resistant)
  23. Is that really a bug? Given the recharge time of Shield Charge, it makes sense that the proc would trigger reliably.
  24. So, does this mean Brawl does not trigger an AoE Taunt? Or Should this read accuracy and not endurance?
