  1. I never used it there either, and honestly, it sounds kinda awful
  2. certainly the least objectionable proposal, though I'm not convinced it's needed (and you don't sound convinced it is either)
  3. my pleasure
  4. we should form a Brute Squad! then shuffle them off to an out of the way forest somewhere
  5. Better said than every attempt I've made, thank you
  6. One of the best things about this is it's actually tricking the broken AI to act well, like a real working AI 😄
  7. The armies under British command suffered some 275,000 casualties at Passchendaele, a figure that makes a mockery of Haig’s pledge that he would not commit the country to "heavy losses.” Among these were 38,000 Australians, 5,300 New Zealanders, and more than 15,600 Canadians; this final figure was almost exactly the total that had been predicted by Currie ahead of the battle. The Germans suffered 220,000 killed or wounded. At the end, the point of it all was unclear. In 1918 all the ground that had been gained there by the Allies was evacuated in the face of a looming German assault. Passchendaele would be remembered as a symbol of the worst horrors of the First World War, the sheer futility of much of the fighting, and the reckless disregard by some of the war’s senior leaders for the lives of the men under their command. https://www.britannica.com/event/Battle-of-Passchendaele
  8. For Red-Siders
  9. Bah Humbug, oh, er I'm a few days well a week actually late for that oops
  10. I honestly don't see dropping the meagre end costs of these powers would make that group of players suddenly find them attractive, it's not the end cost generally speaking that makes them not use them, a point on which I think we can agree?
  11. You read it right, there is really nothing that will stone cold keep you from the slimy grips of Sapper drain but tactics
  12. I don't think it's so much the street sweeping missions that annoy me, as the fact the numbers required about level 30 onwards just get silly, and the PITA of the ones in hazard zones that are JUST at the level where the larger hazard zone spawns are just a tiny bit to much for you to solo, those are my two gripes about these mishes
  13. As came up in the other thread, I think a taunt pet from the first mob boss, shadowing it's pc target to draw aggro from all nearby mobs would probably be the most simple mechanically to implement and would give pretty much the exact visible outcome of the mob boss calling in the nearby reinforcements this would be pretty damn awesome for immersion, and well just plain fun! I really hope we can come up with something the dev's can, and want to implement, I know it's been a long term gripe of many many players that nearby mobs just stand there ignoring their friends being reduced to a muddy smear on the floor!
  14. honestly I think if we have to have a change (which I'm very against) the opposite of your proposal would be better, end reducing to zero from it's current level though personally I think it's perfectly fine as it is and shouldn't be changed at all
  15. so you want Khelds less powerful? honestly Squid is pretty much dps of a blaster just minus Lobster is more offence than tank role, it's like a tougher scrap, best way for a kheld to get aggro is in Nova then shuffle to Dwarf when they start coming human form, you should be doing the power you shift there for like the build up, then shift immediately to one of the other forms (based on whats happening) It sounds to me (apologies if I'm wrong) that you are trying to play in a single form at a time, and while thats do-able, it misses the magic of the AT's my attack chain usually includes a quick zip through all three forms, unless it's a trash mob (not sure if it's me or if it is actually true, but the Kheld dance seems WAY easier on a shade than a PB)
  16. Every time I see you post about Static Teams, I just picture 8 characters just standing around immobile 😄 not even the default emote loop
  17. I think you are wrong, you are trying to slot Khelds into being alternates of other ATs they aren't and will always fail if played that way, what makes them special to me and the others that love them is they are DIFFERENT, you need to play them completely differently than other AT's and thats what makes them special in a way no other AT is, even VEATS
  18. It's part of the Kheld dance you only toggle what you need when you hit human form, often none because you wont be staying in it that long. I find squids easier to control than my other flying heroes (which is most of them) Honestly I don't think I've had aggro management issues with Lobster form, but I pretty much always play using the dance not sticking to a single form for even a mob, thats where the true power of the kheld is, you have to make the three forms one (pardon the zen) I just feel this would be power creep, it would take Khelds from hell on wheels to, game over man
  19. not a fan of any of those, they will all damage the unique flavour of both PB and WS (and the flavour between the two types are very different) Again, hands of ma squids!!!!
  20. I think it's very unlikely the two you mentioned Valiance and Ship of heroes will do anything but faceplant, I was pleasantly surprised with the City of Titans release of their character generator, thugh they are a long way behind where they should be, they are much further along than I thought they were
  21. /jranger Don't destroy the awesomeness of Kheld's with the ever growing faceroll train
  22. there is something borked in the manifest, I have never used the beta manifest, and I've re-scanned multiple times and still have the wrong version, Help me @GM Arcanum you're my only hope! (OK maybe I should have laid off the star wars marathon)
