I redid the second DP/mc blaster and made her a beam rifle/devices blaster. Still at 100 and not making more til I double my current number of full incarnates!

Its not "game mastery" that causes me issues with the purple caves, its literally my eyes which trigger migraines. I have zero issues with the same maps in council colors but something with the purple texture causes prisms to block parts of my vision. I can deal with it and am totally in agreement that game devs do not cater to the minority. That being said, this is the Suggestions and Feedback section and for you to tell people that they just want to circumvent a game challenge is rude. I always buy the reveal power and on purple maps (or especially dark ones like some Arachnos bases) I navigate entirely via the map rather than the textured world. That may not work for everyone and those people have a right to state their suggestion or feedback just like everyone else in this section.

"Cool at pb" At least they didnt mistake me for a defender this time lol. I play kinda aggressively no matter what toon I am on and that usually rocks people back on their heels a bit. Sometimes it works out well and sometimes it doesn't. On the not so complimentary side, when I was working on incarnates on my defender (dark/dark/dark/moar dark pls) and hadn't gotten her sets finished yet, I was informed by the tank (after a couple folks on the team died, myself included), "You know that's your fault, Sunshine, you are a defender not a tank." Lesson learned.

Spreadsheet. Sure I have a few regen sents but they all have different primaries. The one dupe I have is dual pistols/martial combat blaster because its so much fun but I may reroll the second one to eliminate the duplication because it bothers me.

So I am up to an even 100 as of tonight. 😁😥

In order to run the process through my graphics card gobbledygook I found it was using the cityofheroes executable in my 64-bin folder. If you use 32 bit I assume its in the 32-bin folder.

Nerf nerfs...I want 'em to hit hard and dirty and really hurt, no more soft fuzzy nerfs, back to the kinda nerfs that hit regen long ago. Then nerf regen.

It is posted in ToS or somewhere that they cannot reimburse for things, but posting on the forums will alert other players to look for same or similar bugs so they can determine if it is widespread or just a one off.

Going all the way back to the original question... It is entirely subjective. That may not be an answer that satisfies but it is the answer. Petty arguments over combat systems or costume customization just emphasize that it really depends on a players tastes, skills and playstyle. I prefer CoH because its casual. I didnt play much of CO because I didn't care for the limits in keybinding (I may have just not stayed long enough to figure it out) and other very aesthetic things. Nobody is wrong or right its just too subjective to nail down.

Save the Office tip mission: Defeat Flambeaux, Defeat Blast Furnace I find myself fighting freaks. Even they are less than enamored with Ms. Flambeaux and her wacky ways! [NPC] Stunner Freak: Man, I dunno about you...but I think this Flambeaux chick is...I dunno...crazy.

Yesterday someone told me I am "ballsy for a defender". I had to admit to them that I was, indeed, a peacebringer. Does that count as a compliment? I did have a buddy request my PB build cuz shes a tank 😁

Like I said...90% of the problem lol It would be awesome if they were traded for the wide hollows style caves but the game code is so spaghetti I dunno if they could cross code that without breaking something like dominator epics. Itd be awesome if all the freaking torches didnt stick out and grab me. But when you delve into 3d modeling its time consuming and you gotta have the knowledge behind it, plus how to wedge it into the code without making PB squids look like sailboats. The code is really borked! I once built a 3d world that was a hamster cage you could walk through with an avatar representing average human size. Took me months and months and months hand coding, no program to shortcut the process, and it was still what this game would consider a very small and simple asset. I dont know what code this game uses but I know everyone who has looked at it says it is very scrambled with little or no documentation. Any major builds or reworks are likely to be very far down the line as right now they are still working on cleaning up the code. Its good to dream, I dream of spacious caves, but I aint holding my breath lol

That's why I suggested just a texture swap. I have done quite a but of 3d model building and it would be a very lengthy process. Just creating a new texture to swap with the purple one would be much less work and probably fix 90% of the problem.
