  3. Just make a new power set called Nokia. Powers to include hitting them with phone, calling them with a sales pitch (of varying types), voicemail run-around and yahtze moment.

  6. Okay, I have found that I can build super bulky defense in, but have to compromise on number of attacks, damage output and general resists. I can build great resists but compromise defense as well as the damage output. I can build to maximize damage but will take a beating on defenses and resists. Recharge can be worked into almost all of the above options but regardless of the option picked, endurance suffers a bit by being only okay and not terrific. I think I am learning a lot from this process and really appreciate everyone's help in getting my brain wrapped around all this! I have quite a few 50s that I'm revisiting, giving them a respec and sets while they build their incarnate powers. Don't be surprised if you see me periodically posting wild and crazy builds that make you go hmmm. πŸ˜„

I have never asked for it to be harder lol but its these things, and shadow shard and first ward and night ward, things people don't do, that make me want to run with the people who plea for harder content so I can see exactly what they fight. Are they doing those hard things and its still too easy? If so, I must sit at their feet and learn like a good little grasshopper! Except I dont do shadow shard. Was invited to a tf the other day, couldn't even find/get to my teammates so I left.

But...I lose a lot of defense.....but gain a lot of resist.....I don't really know which is best. taken Luminous Detonation, which I had been given specific tips for slotting, but when I viewed the Power Graphs window it shows that is a low DMA power and so I opted for Gleaming Bolt there at the end where it can benefit from just 2 slots rather than the more slots needed for the other one.

  15. Here on the forums, on in-game help channels and even over on Discord, I have seen lots of wrong information given out to people. I am certainly guilty of it myself on occasion so I refuse to attribute it to malice, just misunderstandings or misinformation. If I know the right answer I try to slip it in, as do others, but it is often lost in the shuffle. I hesitate to openly correct anyone as I do NOT relish confrontation and also dont want to be accused of starting a fight. Its not worth fighting over. But this has been an increasing issue I see, each day seems like more wrong information is given out. Like this morning I was informed you can combine any 3 inspirations into any one inspiration you want. It is almost true but leaves out the same 3 inspirations to make a different inspiration of the same tier bit. Just mis-information. How do y'all approach making sure the new and/or totally lost players get correct and complete information without lighting the powder keg? Everybody seems so touchy these days its just hard to know how to give correct answers without the wrong answer person getting bent out of shape. It doesn't help that I tend towards hyperbole and smartassedness lol Happy hunting!

  18. Most TFs have a max level it will lock you at, like if my 50 runs a Posi 1 she will be 15 the whole time. For the enemy level it looks at your difficulty level, if you have it set at +3 they will spawn that high above you. Look at your mission window and it will tell you what your difficulty is, like +1 x4 No AVs or something like that.

  21. Thats how I build all my toons. I have some who are different because I dont take any sleep type power that is just broken with the next AoE and I dont take any confuse type powers that diminish my XP gain. Also my upcoming PB rework (she is 50 but needs incarnates) is human only so skipping some powers there.
  22. Not having looked at the game code but knowing how programming works in general I can tell you that the current code only accepts a single digit modifier for costume slots. It uses 0 through 9 and if you try 10 or any other multiple digit entry it does nothing. I have no clue how difficult it would be to change this or if it can even be changed. I have found the 10 slots to be enough, even more than enough, for most of my toons but I do have a couple who could use a few (dozen) extra for, as you say, variations on a theme.
