The problem that a line has to be drawn somewhere. There is a policy (not yet in effect) and the people who drew that (those) line(s) are players as well, not just some developers who stumbled upon a winning game formula, so I bet (assume) they knew, or at least took into account, different levels of vestedness (its a word because I just used it!) when making the policy and (will continue to do so) in the future implementation of the policy. OMG run-on sentence.

I think this brand of mastermind should have optional pet adds (for our farmer friends) for 1mil you can add 3 extra paralegals, for 10mil you get a pair of fairly inept jr partners who run around suing every mob in the room/map and for 25mil you get a super secretary who makes the aforementioned pets disappear 😁

My first thought when I read about your issue was 'is there a proc in it' BUT I am just learning about sets and procs are still confusing to me so I didnt want to muddy the waters if it were an actual bug. Once you get them unsorted and replaced let us know if that was the issue or if it is indeed a bug. I would be interested because I am raising a baby grav so its important information lol ! I play all ATs but I do love my 'support' toons. Just because they aren't required on teams doesn't mean they arent welcome on teams. I have not found any teams that arent happy to have me no matter what AT or powersets I bring. Conversly, I have found that teams that are looking for a tank specifically or a defender specifically tend to be populated or lead by people new to the game or who have yet to come to the understanding that we got this. I think that someone on some thread (@Ukase on this thread I believe) said it best, the player behind the avatar is the real enhancement.

Thank you both for all the info! Wow thats a lot to process. Seems gravity is better than it was when I left the game and nature seems like a very useful set! My toon, Fizix, was previously a grav/ff but, just like in the old days, I just couldnt get into ff, so I am hoping Nature is 'my thing'. As for lack of synergy, my main on live was storm/energy defender....no synergy....they seemed to work at cross purposes so much of the time, so I think I can deal with it (I mean it cant be as bad as storm/energy lol). Ok what is this energy font proc of which you speak? And wormhole is the only one that needs kb-kd, not in propel? Cuz I knock guys all over the place with that thing. Fizix just got rerolled last night as grav/nat. Nature is new to me but I love love love gravity (but yeah its been a decade or so since I played it). What do I need to know about Nature, since I havent played it before? What might I have forgotten about Gravity since its been a while and I am old? Are there any 'must have' or 'definitely skip' powers from either set, and why? I love Propel so please don't expect me to skip it lol, but I have never really understood things like Wormhole and Singularity so if someone could bring me up to speed I would appreciate it! You have been misinformed. You can get icon employees in the base but they are just regular ones, they can't perform the cosmetic surgeon changes. That is not available in the base AFAIK.

Everything I find, on any of my toons, with the exception of TOs, DOs and SOs (unless I am being lazy) I put on the market at 100. Yeah I want to make cash to supply all my alts with what they need but I am not going to laser focus on it. That is fun for some people, so more power to them. It is just too convenient to /ah and post everything then keep doing missions or sweeping. Hopefully, eventually, I will find the one someone is looking for and they'll get it. Other than folks like me (lazy) you will probably have to skip the crafting of it and just buy the enhancement (they seem plentiful). I do agree some minor seeding would help. Good luck!

Doing blueside I would stick with a blue AT although there really is no such thing anymore. I would go scrapper but I love scrappers 😁

In order to do this, I believe you'd have to be building above or below the base and actually build in the other walls. There are transparent surfaces you might could use for the forcefield appearance.

I have rules regarding my altitis and they restrict me from creating new toons at this time. That being said, I have come up with some good (in my opinion) concepts and if they are gone by the time I allow myself to roll them, I will just have to get more creative. A few times this last week I have changed existing toons names but not re-reserved the old names because they werent that good anyway lol. Also, my lowest toon is 15 so its not like I am licking cookies (eeeew thanks @Bossk_Hogg for that mental image lol). I did have someone (a global friend) want one of my toon names and I said sure but she was joking and we started spitballing (to go with the licking) names similar that she could use. If someone wants my name, other than my global or my Comic-Con toon, I will usually let them have it unless I am super attached.

Itd be cool to have shard-wide elections for 'mayor of the month' so players could have a little boost, maybe a gold title, but it would just degenerate into popularity contests and if you aren't chatty you dont get 'known'. Therefore, I vote for Frostfire as I know I can 'remove him from office' forcibly if need be. 😁

I have wished for this every time I use base porter or drop an ouro portal (maybe 4 times in the 3ish months I have been on HC). Activate from power list would be awesome.

Despite negative nancys and naysayers, I think the forums are a good option to try to find those folks. Maybe try posting in the forum for your shard and see if you can get some buddies who like small teams or SO only builds or what-have-you. Also keep your eye on the help channel in-game, I have met some wonderful people there. I did find an indom global channel (that's where I play) but nobody ever seems to use it so those global server channels may or may not help you find like minded folks but definitely worth checking out.

Anyone know the img format, sizing, extention for those? As someone who has made billions of graphics the hard part seems to be making the game read them, but I can't imagine its more diffucult than having my base play 'Spirit in the Sky' on loop every time I am in there. Edit: only refering to new/more variety of icons, not the coding to make the macro read cool down times or have them light up etc.

I routinely only carry one mission at a time so you would think it would set but no, more mouse clicky clicky clicky. I have ten thousand keybinds because I hate mouse clicking. Also, if I leave the zone (maybe hit the base to get some insp) its not even yellow anymore when I return so my 'passive' waypoint is gone, too.

Instead of power pool man, are you running 'alternate power man' hehehe. I only use 3 trays but am bordering on needing a 4th on a couple toons. I think more options in all things are good so give the man more trays! Let him have 4 of mine lol

There are some enemies in first ward and/or night ward that confuse. Was shocking then hillarious when my son and I almost killed each other.

I have noticed this happens when the portal is slightly raised or lowered, not flush with the floor, or is in some way interacting with another nearby object. One time mine did this I had to move it literally one mouse tick sideways and it fixed. Hopefully you have permissions to edit the base, just move it slightly and it should work again.

Not a PvPer, but I can see how part of the skill in this game is how you build your character. I THINK that translates to PvP but I could be mistaken. Yeah rich vs poor will come into play but which powers you take and how many slots each get are all part of the 'puzzle'. I only kinda have that figured out for PvE, not sure I will ever wrap my head around it for PvP.

Ditto....I do like dual pistols and staff fighting but those animations have me laughing. I am ALWAYS wondering where they keep those disappearing weapons and the seeming delay of draw just kills it for me. You arent alone in your no weapons stance!
