I usually play support or pure damage toons. I now have a fire/spines tanker at 50 to farm and decided to take her out and about town to see the sights. She joined a Posi 1 and when we started the team lead said "everyone follow the tank". Now, way back in the old days I teamed with CMA and other awesome tanks but BEING the tank is new to me. I immediately told the team "um, bad idea, I am usually a defender but I will do my best if y'all help me". Learning to tank is totally different even than my scrapperlock scrappers, brutes and sents. Communication with the team is key I think. Still learning but really hoping I am never again the only tank on a team. 😁

Since I have neglected her, at 24 she has empty slots ( I jumped on her after I posted). When I get back home I will focus on her a bit and see what she is capable of. She is a scrapper so I wanna keep the damage but need to really get her survivability (out tank a tank type of scrapperlock) to make her feel like her old self.

My old fav Was my MA/regen scrapper....pre-nerf pre ED....pre-weakassregen. I remade her here and regen continued to disappoint. I have rerolled her as MA/WP but its not the same. She's only mid 20s and I have been distracted by other shinies, maybe if I concentrate on her she will shine like she should. My 'main' from live was one I ran with ex hubby and I detested her then and will never remake her. Let her rest in peace (pieces).

Proving that one person is the 'owner' of a particular toon or account with X items or inf or vet rewards would be nigh impossible. This doesnt even open up the worminess of personal data like credit cards used to pay or physical addresses for mailing the comic books. To release the right info to the right people wouldn't be a simple matter and would open up the legal can of worms that is privacy policies and such.

I found that out the hard way one time when my mouse went spastic. Very useful.

I like my teams with a bit of strategy, too. Probably why I solo a lot. I was on a team for the Anti-Matter arc and some missions I would load in to find its done..exit now. I just dont zone or load fast enough for that play, but I also dont prefer it. I enjoy pulling. I enjoy the tactics of making sure you only aggro the group closest and not the one beside them. I dont enjoy herding or rushing. Right now I have a lvl 19 sentinel (hero) visiting Praetoria to do a bit of street sweeping. Fun and relaxing! And a nice change of scenery. Yeah, the game is way different than before (I played 04 to 10) but go out there and enjoy it. If you end up on a team you don't care for or just dont match, kindly make your excuses and go about whatever you do enjoy. Happy hunting!

I'd be down but my time is so restricted I don't feel I'd be a good fit. Most of my toons street sweep til 14 (a couple did the twin shot arc and one solod thru hollows arcs). Its a fun method to hit the river in hollows 5-10 and terra Volta might be better after 20 instead of 18..have fun and happy hunting!

Are you sure your usimg the game account and not the forum account...also make sure caps lock isnt killing you...that's usually my problem.

Get on a toon you have them set up how you like and type /chatsave Now load up a new toon and type /chatload Also useful: /wdwsave and /wdwload /optionsave and /optionload In my bindfile I have pageup bound to /bindfileload and /optionload and /wdwload and /chatload so new toons only need to type /bindfileload then hit pageup button and done. Any edits to bindfile I just hit pageup on every toon I log in, whenever that may be, and they get the latest settings lickety split!

This is almost exactly what I was going to respond ( minis the bit about checking out other servers cuz I dont know how). I havent come across any nightmare PuGs on HC but I still solo mostly because of my time constraints. I intend to do what @tafilr did so it wont disappear on me again! PS regarding players to team with....most everyone is an experienced player and if anything I am the weak link because I dont load/zone fast enough to keep up with people.

Since the tailor doesn't EVER offer the option to change how someone else's buffs look on your character, I am not sure that y'all grasp the concept here. I think it'd be a nice QoL to have some suppression of FX client-side, not just player provided buffs but also other players toggles and auras. This would really help out lag events like MSR if I could get Null the Gull to make it where I don't see all those extra colors and swirls (on my toon from other people or on their toon from whatever source.) Edit to add...not just effect ice but all sets that allow someone to essentially give me a look I didnt specifically choose.

I need this too. My widow just came up against some sky raiders that didn't give on whit about my 'mask presence'. Made the mish with an EB and Zeus titan tougher.

Even if you are playing redside and find yourself in a spot of trouble, us bluesiders are often willing (if time and task allow) to flip to red to give you a hand with a difficult task...so dont be afraid to ask on the Help channel.

Winter technically starts December 21 and runs til March 20.....who is down for 3 months of skiing and bobsledding!?!! Lets go! Seriously I hope it isnt that long....usually what, just a week or so past the first of the year so they may start Dec 1 or even later to just have it up a month. You can go practice your ski runs now. I repeatedly fell off the track and then failed to use the geysers well. Managed to get Trucker badge. Go figure!

This is especially true on the VEATs where the second through sixth costume slots takes nothing from the previous.....I always have to readjust my Widows and Soldiers body scales. If you open a new slot (Halloween salvage or icon missions) they will open the new slot by copying whatever costume you are currently wearing your first costume slot so bring cash or tailor tokens depending on changes planned if you are fairly high level.

'Strength to' is the key.....it adds strength to any powers you have that heal, regen and tohit when you use them on yourself.

Price is on a scaler depending on level. For a lvl 50, depending how many parts you change, yes it could be that high. Any toon under 10 has costs waived (I believe).
