Pretty sure that’s about how long Romy took to take down on live. So this may be correct.

Does the camera change direction also? Or, is the toon just running backwards all of a sudden with the camera still facing in the direction the toon was originally running? If the camera changes direction it may be a mouse problem. The Laser may be failing or the mouse is randomly preforming a diagnostic in the middle of gameplay.

Could Grant Cover from other Cim Traitors be affecting the outcome?

Am I mistaken about DirectX not being supported by Windows 11 and the game using DirectX to run? It used to be that you had to DL DirectX for Windows 11 to run CoH. The part about using the Homecoming Launcher is always suggested however. Tequila will be discontinued sometime in the future.

You’re doing exactly what you are accusing the OP of doing.

Just throwing this out there. Maybe do something like the PvP auto slot rule. If you choose to take the 500+ character chat option that toon will only ever be able to exist in PvP.

AVs are immune to many things.

I’m pretty sure the sorting of the characters is kept locally on your computer. You should be able to see that in your game folder.

IAWTP, there has been TWO times in the last 19 years that I would have liked to have had more then 500 characters.

In the area of New Connaught, (three occasions/weeks apart), I have run into even coning baddies. I'm lvl 50 and White and Yellow Fir Bolg are walking around randomly. Maybe they are left over from a Eochai spawn? On one occasion they didn't even drop XP or INF. It's kinda weird. It's the opposite end of the War of the Vaile's so I'm not sure why they would be spawning at such a high lvl.

War Witch is a multidimensional character so being in multiple places at once makes sense.

You out-leveled the contact. Some contacts can be reacquired in Ouroborus after you out-level them.

Isn’t getting AVs dependent upon your notoriety? Is your difficulty set to that of receiving AVs in mish’s?

It was about 2009 or so, that the Devs released it on the beta server as a test. It never left the beta server however, the slot for it was added to AH by mistake which did make it to live for a few weeks or so. Yes, @Rudra you are correct it was about the same time as those other Inspirations where tested. The original forums discuss it if someone wants to dig for it.

I seem to remember on live this happening when you hit “x” number of items placed in your base without logging out.

I have a Dell mouse that randomly recalibrates itself once a week. It does this during the recalibration making for some interesting battles sometimes.

I was on the Secret Server for Seven years. I saw the creation of Homecoming from the inside of the ensuing firestorm. I actually believed Homecoming would be shut down so I didn’t join until it had been running for Nine months. I figured if NCSoft wanted it shut they would have done it by then.

Yes, that’s a good point. I believe the problem started way before Going Rogue however. When City of Villains came out it was an entirely separate game. NCSoft thought that dividing the player base was a good idea. They thought it was such a good idea they did it again with Going Rogue. Continuously dividing your player base it turns out doesn’t grow your subscriber numbers. It just makes the game feel less populated. So much so by the time Going Rogue came out there wasn’t enough players to support a third side of the game.

The problem is the Pretorian content in general was not played on Live. All the original Dev plans / Story Lines were cut short or skipped due to the lack of players on Gold Side. Gold Side still has this problem. I will say it’s probably more popular now then it was on live but it’s still the least played side. Every complaint about Pretorian stories or lack of stories or continuity is valid. But it’s for a reason. Why make new content for the least played part of the game, when there are still so many untold stories for the parts that the majority of people do play?

Isn’t the KR event still bugged/not working properly? I thought that was a long term goal for the Devs to revamp that event.

This is a well known bug that popped up two updates ago. No word on if is being looked at but they are definitely aware of it.

What is your computer build? What is your OS? What are you using to log in? Tequila or the HC Launcher?
