  1. I'd like device that when placed allows you to see the full contents of all you're individual storage items. In a fully sortable and filterable list. Would also allow crafting directly so you can not only use salvage to create IOs but also use special salvage on IOs without having to slot them first. Only a single person could use it at once and it'd be unique (in a functional way per base). Once placed the other storage blocks are just visual (they still count for storage amounts but don't work when clicked on). The new device when clicked on brings up a new screen (similar to management screen or the final Respec screen). Unslotters work as normal from inventory if you have them, but if not you can pay the price they are seeded to the AH for (same for other special salvage maybe?).
  2. I think some of the other menus while looking like popmenu menus use something else, possibly something baked in. When I first found out about popmenus back on live I combed through all the piggs looking for more but didn't find any. Probably popmenu is the newer system, used to circumvent the need to write code for each new menu. (But IDK for sure.)
  3. AFAIK You can only buy one with a bonus and one without. I tend to pick natural as it can have either bonuses: Nemesis is Sci, Tech, Natural and Wand is Mutant, Magic, Natural. Though as I tend to AE through the first 20 levels these days I tend not to even buy them.
  4. I use base portal to Croatoa... it's not the fastest (I think base portal > university is about the same, hero side anyway), but the amount of times I have found Sally when doing this is pretty insane. I actually have the badge on several characters.
  5. I wouldn't object to an account wide personal base providing you can invite other players into it (and they can use the facilities).
  6. The first Hami raid I joined we had a */regen scrapper as the main tank... this was of course prior to all the regen nerfs... 😄 (and before Brutes existed)
  7. As a work around when you're on your own it's not bad. If you're trying to get to the zone to join the rest of your team, especially if the rest of the team aren't actually going to do ITF it doesn't work. I think you can use the Orubous crystals to teleport to contact for one of the other contacts in the zone which would be a better option. But an actual base teleport beacon would be the best option.
  8. I don't play a Dom, but isn't the build up of the Dominance based on attacks from your primary/secondary? How would the plethora of pets (2 pets and a pseudo pet) in Illusion work with that mechanic?
  9. Would dual pistol animations even work with weapon based scrappers? In the sense of having both equipped at a time to fit in with a player/character concept. I would expect that for those scrappers the use a melee weapon that DP/Rifle/whatever EPP would cause a redraw and prevent both being visible.
  10. In a normal following group you cast through the person you're following, the game automatically assigned the target of damaging powers to the enemy the person you're following is targeting. So as a blaster following a brute you automatically shoot their target providing you're actually targeting the brute. As an MM none of you pet attack commands work this way. You must /assist then pet attack. Normal powers work as expected. This is also the same for /powexec_location commands. Any command that then breaks the follow will require you to re-select the person you're following and use a follow command. Even more of an issue if you have more than one follower as you would probably also need to make sure both are no longer following before re-issuing the follow command, /follow is a toggle. This would be the same in any follow grouping but with a MM you're doing it after every pet attack. I have tried it both with all MM and with MM on follow, it is totally doable but feels excessively clunky. A better option would be to have extra buffers as followers to a MM (MM main buff/debuff/ranged damage followers). Issues are: More different attacks you have the harder they are to co-ordinate, especially when the c/d is different. If you're going to have a "tank" with followers you might be better off with a "tank" rather than a MM. From my own experience with a bots/dark MM and two corrupt followers my damage and survivability was much lower than with the MM alone. Dual/triple boxing isn't as much about performance, you can do more damage as three characters than as one. And you can certainly change how some game mechanics work to your benefit but it does make it more difficult to respond to things that a singleton would cope with much better. So perma AM with just AMx3 (on SOs from 32+) or permanent 100% recharge reduction with 2x SB (150% for other team members). Easily def capped on */cold to all but fire & cold with just the shields (same for FF but hole is psionic) and that's with no IO bonuses. Three players are going to be able to handle 3x the number of situations that a singleton playing three characters is, though alpha strikes by a singleton are going to be stronger than all but the best team of players (PvP teams are good at this in most games). I do it because I find it more fun than playing normally. Mostly... 🙂
  11. It was IIRC to make sure that people not paying to play didn't get drops they couldn't use. Shards and Shard Salvage could drop for freemium players while threads et al only dropped for premium players. When the game went into the infamous private version and then HC the change as made to make both resources drop everywhere removed that limitation.. Use Shards to make the 2nd T1, T2 & T3 (for the T4). Totally not worth using it for anything else.
  12. While buffing damage output for defenders with primaries that don't especially boost their damage output could be good. Wouldn't it break on those with primaries that do boost their damage (either by buffing the defender or debuffing the enemy? A rad defender with even corrupter level offence would be broken. So it would be better to address FF & Sonic (et al) than a flat increase to the secondaries.
  13. Not sure why you think a bug fix should be removed because you don't have (or do have, OP unclear) a 1000 alts. Bottom line is you don't need to have every badge on every alt anyway and if you feel that you do then it's down to you to deal with it.
  14. It's just a name, it could be anything. I think WoW calls a similar method they do with their low level dungeons to make them high level is "Heroic Dungeons". I'm sort of think of it as a similar level of challenge. More difficult than the original but not on the scale of Incarnate Content. 5% HP for a 1 set of Freedom Phalanx TFs +5% HP for both sets. First accolade reward is mix and match you can do low or high level to earn it. To earn both you need to complete all the TFs/Mo Elite/Heroic/etc TFs.
  15. I more often than not Triple box (max allowed on HC), I use a software multiplexor to send key presses to each client and I use a single PC (three monitors) to do so. I generally stick with three similar or identical builds as that's much easier to keep track of than when each character has a different set of c/d and situational powers. I use InnerSpace/ISBoxer from Lavishsoft.com, there is a free 7 day trial and 3 months is $15/1 year $50 (with fairly regular voucher offers). I have done this, though not much as I very seldom group outside of my small team (or hang around in public spaces), it's either greeted with mild confusion or whoever sees me doing it knows what I'm at and are either seemingly impressed or accuse me of cheating/killing babies/starting ww3/etc. The current rules are: (https://forums.homecomingservers.com/code-of-conduct/) Under Multiboxing Policy: We allow a basic level of multiboxing on the Homecoming servers outside of peak times. These rules apply on a shard-by-shard basis (by ‘shard’ we mean Torchbearer, Excelsior, etc). If there are less than 1500 people logged in to a shard you may play with up to three accounts at once. If there are more than 1500 people logged into a shard you may only play with a single account. If you are caught multiboxing when there are between 1500 and 1600 players logged in to a shard, you will be warned and expected to log off immediately. If you ignore requests to do so your accounts will receive a 24h ban. If you are caught multiboxing repeatedly with more than 1600 players logged in to a shard, all of your accounts will receive immediate permanent bans. It is your responsibility to monitor server status and current player count if you wish to multibox. You can do this both on our website and in the #live-shards channel on our Discord. Please note that this policy does not apply to groups of players simply playing from the same home/network. It only applies to individuals playing multiple accounts on their own. I play on Reunion and I don't think I have ever seen the shard over 1k players (all players on all shards are frequently below 1500). I'd love the cap be raised but I'm more than happy to just be able to play a single account and three is just a bonus. 🙂

  18. Alternate versions of all the low level TFs/Trials that can be entered at 45+ (but without incarnate powers/levels). The would have a minimum level of 35, end AVs/Bosses are +3 to the highest team member. Capping at 53. Incarnate powers don't work at all and you don't get a level shift. Adjust mobs/groups so that they are level 45+ variants. Missions/Maps/Story/etc identical to existing low level TFs. (Initially ignore TFs that have groups that are limited to a low level, but clockwork could be moved to Praetorian Clockwork, Lost turned into Rikti... etc). Add badges for the normal completion of each elite TF, eg Elite Citadel's Assistant (for the Elite version of the Citadel TF). Add Challenge badges for each TF, including deathless and speed of completion. Master of Elite TF are award for completing all challenge badges. Master of Elite TF badges are for the purposes of Accolade earning the equivalent to the normal TFs, but earning all of the normal Badges + All the Mo Elite TFs would in turn award an addition Elite Task Force Commander Badge Reasons: I dislike exemping down below around 35 to complete low level content, I spend a lot of time and effort building a perfect character I don't want that effort wasted by gimping myself. Additional high level content, without the need for incarnate powers. More badges and challenges.
  19. Craft them as they come in, hoarding the recipes has left you in the current situation. I regularly craft 20-40 recipes at once, uncommon IOs (I triple box so often need a lot of IOs), I seldom need extra salvage space. Only change I'd like tosee is removing the buy cap (or increase it to 99).
  20. Doesn't sound so bad... Might be a cake walk even... 😉 Main issue I see is that with humans being who they are there would be people who only do these for the PvP (build and play style aside) they would use it as an excuse to gank people trying to complete the mission objectives. Perhaps as a co-op mission (so no actual player on player combat) but have the PvP side of it a race to complete objectives, some of which would be mutually exclusive or gant ally buffs enemy debuffs. eg: A race to get a big stompy robot ready for defence (of Paragon) or attacking Paragon. Say five tasks each team needs to complete, the winner of each task gains the better buff/debuff, with optional missions/unlocks. At the end of it all your team (if you won the race) gets to watch as the enemy team tries to defeat that menace that you released. (Or maybe even causing a zone event in the enemy city.) (I had an idea like this when they first announced AE (before the details were announced), and it's something I'd like to see. Even outside of the OP's suggestion.)
  21. BY the time I pretty much quit CoH (Freemium was the final nail for me), I'd long lost any real interest in my main a DM/Regen scrapper. Consequently I have yet to reroll her at all, and probably won't. I have remade some of my other characters that I had on live, some are a blast and even more fun than on live (Grav/Rad Controllers) others I just can't a grip on (Fire/Kin Controllers). But mostly I'm having a blast knocking out builds that take no time to level (thanks to AE) and are fairly cheap to slot out to a playable level once done. Just tried a Thugs/Time MM, got it to 40+ slotted it up (mostly common IOs), played it for a few hours then respecced it to strip out those IOs and deleted it because while it might be powerful in the hands of another I hated it (Time mostly). I'd never have done that on live. (Even on the test server.)

You'd have to exclude other controller allies from that, as you gain containment from any source of those effects, even confused enemies eg Dark Mistress using her hold will allow you to do containment damage on her target. So controller allies would apply their containment power and give you a 5-10% damage buff, you'd probably also need to make sure the buff doesn't stack from different sources. I'd prefer the address containment not working on confuse and fear before they add something like this but I'd abuse the bleep out of it if it were added. 😄
  23. Wasn't the Numina TF originally the end game content before they added 40-50 blueside? Hence the tour of the city style to it.
  24. Well you could always put Hasten and any other powers you want onto other frequently used keys like movement or other click powers. You can only use it on one power to auto it, but you only need hasten to fire every two minutes, if perma less often if on a longer recharge. So firing off other powers with auto isn't a bad idea. Personally unless I do have perma hasten without external (including incarnate) buffs I keep it as a click allowing me the option of autoing a power I use more often that I do want to fire off as soon as its up (Fiery Embrace & Build Up I do this with build up on auto and fiery embrace as a click I then unauto build up with the powers I use most often after using it so it's not wasted on filler attacks).
