Interruptible powers are already interrupted by any source of damage, healing, change in position (Knock, movement, being teleported), and even powers which don't do any of those things, such as Disruption Arrow. In order to make this work as a unique set-specific gimmick, several thousand NPC powers would have to be altered. That pistol shot the Hellion uses when his purse-snatching goes awry isn't Interruptible, for example, so a special Interrupt would have to be added, the animation extended to create an Interruptible period, and said animation and Interrupt set to only appear when fighting a player character using that new blast set (because simply making all NPC attacks Interruptible would be stupidly broken, so easy to leverage that it'd be unlikely that any NPC ever used an attack again for the entirety of the game's life). Simply adding a brief Interrupt window to each of those thousands of powers and setting it to only respond to this set's special mechanic would work, but it would also significantly impact NPC performance, as all of their attacks would be slower and less of a threat to all other sets and player characters. The end result would be a pile of power creep, just to create a space where this set could exist. So the developers could do it, with a few thousand person-hours and basically trashing the balance points of the game... or you could just play a */Radiation Assault dominator, which is essentially what you described plus melee attacks. Blast sets don't get pets.

There are badges for following? Stalker mode activated. -
They considered doing that. An animal rights group filed a lawsuit to stop them. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hippopotamuses_in_Colombia

A lot of the reviews are bot-generated. They're so obvious, I'm surprised any of them are still there. The Goog must not be hiring big brains any more.

He had a conversation in General. It was a cool story, bro.

Ancillary Power Pools and Patron Power Pools. You're welcome.

There wasn't a "PvP server" and none of the co-op zones ever allowed PvP. You're misremembering.

I used to believe you posted these wildly over-powered ideas because you were an over-the-top min/maxer. But complaining because you bought a Gaussian's proc, couldn't figure out how Combat Readiness works, and worked yourself into a tizzy because you thought you'd have slot it in Injection (that won't work, by the way)... well, that's something entirely different.

The KB is what incapacitates bosses long enough to lock them down with another control, and it keeps the Stunned enemies from wandering off before they can be Immobilized. The KB makes it the most effective AoE Stun in the game, even without a KB>KD IO. And Wormhole doesn't aggro (another thing that none of the other Stuns can't tout), so what you miss won't attack and what you hit can't retaliate because it's either Stunned or supine. Gravity controllers need extra Defense like cats need flashlights in their ears. Slot the KB>KD IO, it's more worthwhile than a single-vector Defense bonus.

Enhancement/Respec screen resolution.
Luminara replied to Luminara's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I finally remembered to screenshot this. This is how my UI is set up. Note the contact pop-up in the middle. This is at 1900x1080. The resolution is still 1900x1080, as you can see by looking at the framerate counter at the top right, but the game's doing something internally to reduce the resolution it uses when the enhancement screen is active. Make it staaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhp. -
Weapon Mastery > Sting of the Wasp, Tashibishi, Paralyzing Dart and The Lotus Drops all accept sentinel ATOs. Radiation Armor > Particle Shielding accepts EndMod sets. The +Recovery is flagged to ignore enhancements. Mu Mastery > Summon Adept accepts Heal sets. Mu Adept doesn't have any heals. Electricity Mastery > Shocking Field accepts Heal sets. It doesn't heal. While I'm listing bugs, dominator Ice Mastery > Ice Storm points to the controller version and deals 50% more damage to mezzed targets even for dominators. Oh, and the blaster, defender (APP), scrapper, tanker, brute, stalker and sentinel versions of Thunder Strike still have the Inner Radius and Outer Radius limiters on the AoE damage and KD. The AoE damage was significantly reduced, the recharge time increased and the endurance cost almost doubled, with the proffered compensation being the radius increase from 7' to 10', and they're still restricted to 7' because of that Outer Radius tag.

Nope. Why would they need to? They created a new currency specifically for a costume swap system with almost 200 options, they've spent five years expanding customization options for powers, animations and weapon models, they've increased enemy group diversity by adding male/female versions where only one or the other was previously in place... if they'd thought for a femtosecond that they'd ever want to link character performance to visual appearance, none of that would've happened. I'm not even reading between the lines, this is all right in front of us. They've been telling us, for over five years, that they're dedicated to doing the opposite of what the OP wants, with every increase in character customization.

Cryptic very clearly and directly stated that nothing cosmetic would or should, ever, in any way, alter character strength or ability. Your proposal was considered 23 years ago, when development of this game began, and rejected then. And HC isn't going to reverse policy on that, because they firmly agree with it, as it allows significantly more diversity in character creation and player self-expression. No still means no. Deal with it.

Focused Feedback: The Labyrinth of Fog

You know, if you'd made the Minotaur a marsupial, you could've called that power Trial by Wombat. -

There's no Cancel on Damage flag. https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=mission_maker_secondary.trick_arrow.flash_arrow I checked all of the other -Perception debuffs that I could find, they're good. Flag this one so players aren't perma-Blinded.

Something of an experience tonight... (spoilers for Mr. G)
Luminara replied to Ultimo's topic in General Discussion
All player-accessible -Perception debuffs are AoEs. Seeker Drones has the smallest radius, 15', a couple are 25', most are 35'. There are... well, let's see, Smoke, Smoke Grenade, Smoke Canister, Flash Arrow, Tac Arrow Flash Arrow, Seeker Drones, Blinding Powder... I think that's all of them, so 7 -Perception powers that the doppelgangers could use, dependent on team composition, all AoEs. I've only done that TF once since I started playing on HC (soloed it with my Staff/Willpower brute), but as I recall, the fight takes place in the basement area where the origin offices are, and the doppelgangers spawn in the middle of the room, so unless you were hiding in one of the origin offices or went up the stairs and around the corner, you were probably within 35' of at least a couple of your teammates. Any of the larger radius debuffs would've tagged you. You didn't mention earlier that you took no damage, so it may not have been Flash Arrow (but the AE entry for TA Flash Arrow is still broken, as it's missing the Cancel on Damage flag (Posi 1 pulls from AE set info to create the doppelgangers, which is why that's relevant)). I'm thinking that it had to be Smoke, Smoke Grenade or one of the Flash Arrows. They all have short recharge times, long durations and wide radii. If it was TA Flash Arrow, you were just fucked no matter what, because without that Cancel on Damage flag, it's pretty much guaranteed to wipe a team if they don't have a pile of +Perception or a shit-ton of AoE attacks that don't require a target (PBAoEs, location AoEs). If it was any of the other three, the short recharge times would allow the doppelgangers to keep it on you even if the scripting was crap. Smoke Canister is a location AoE, so even if you thought you were far enough away, you might not have been... but it also has a longer recharge time than duration, so it couldn't have kept you debuffed for 4 continuous minutes. That, in my estimation, removes it from the list of potential culprits (unless you were teamed with two or more Arsenal Control characters). Regardless, the easiest and quickest solution, for future reference, is to take damage (again, unless it's TA Flash Arrow). Next time, move forward and try to get hit. I see that you didn't file that bug report, so that's my thunder now. Yoink, boyeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
