Do it myself 😉

I have 4 bases, 3 of which are one big room with all the storage bins i can fit on that base plot. I know the market well enough to keep ones that might cost a pretty penny ie; purples, ATO, procs, and ones I commonly use in all my builds LotG, Reactive, pvp, etc. I only keep 4 salvage bins, 1 of holiday salvage, 1 of orange salvage, and 2 of converters, catalysts, etc. I keep alot of the extra on my farmers, and as soon as I get the salvage through drops I make the recipe that I have and either sell of keep depending on inventory or if I will use. Occasionally I buy a orange that I might need to finish a recipe. I have enhancement tables specifically for health/end, resistance, defense, ATO, purple, winter, etc. If this was Marvel I would be the Collector, I love being a dragon and hoarding my wealth. Unlike BillZ I take mine to 50 fully kit them out and play them, if I like I keep if I dont I respec get all my IOs back and delete. It keeps a flow going in my inventory and occasionally I will help a VGmate out.

I just posted this in a thread with a new player and thought why not help others out that are just plain confused by all the keybinds or just hate them.. I prefer macros, I started out on them on live and they have remained with me ever since. My first serious toon for the long road to 50 on live was a Bots/FF and I did everything with him. Full backstop, pve, pvp, base raids, badging, you get the picture. I have no patience for the key bind experience for some its a fantastic way to play out their mm fantasy. This in itself might be a huge deterrent for some thinking that all that effort has to go into just setting up an MM. So the remedy in my mind at least is the macro. If anyone else has some useful ones feel free to add. These are the most common macros for MM pet control. I use ATK and BG as my primary commands. /macro ATK "petcom_all aggressive$$petcom_all goto" /macro DEF "petcom_all defensive$$petcom_all goto" /macro BG "petcom_all defensive$$petcom_all follow" ATK is a goto option that locks the pets in a specific area and gives them the kill all command. DEF is the same as above but pets will only attack when fired upon the same as the rules of engagement that US troops do now. BG the infamous bodyguard mode, puts pets on a defend the mm command. I use BG during travel, between areas/rooms and as I'm running drop ATK in the middle of the mob. If you want to be in a close supremacy range for your pets and then what better way than for me their master than to be in the middle of combat. Hence, why I always shoot for high s/l res/def on my mm. This is turn always you to soak up the alpha if no melee types are around. This will insure that no pets are lost in the initial strike, because, a mm with no pets is a sad, sad creature. There are other commands, macros, etc that I have but you have to really dedicate yourself to the AT like I do, there are ones for the thug bruiser to act as the de facto tank of the group and can command him as such, ones to only attack as ranged, etc. These will get you started at least to make you a better casual mastermind. Some other playful or useful macros. /macro BYE petcomall dismiss This one is a larger one /Macro WHT "team WHAT DO WE WANT?$$petsay_all <em protest> /macro DMG "petsay_all MORE DAMAGE!$$emote drat" /macro TNK "petsay_all BETTER TANKS!$$emote frustrated" /macro SUP "petsay_all COMPETENT SUPPORT!$$emote grief" This is to call out teams, team wipes, or just fun. These are fun for crowds, hanging out in the Atlas/Pocket D. Magic trick /macro ALK "emote alakazamreact$$petsay_all <em alakazamreact> Or Dance off, bro! /macro getfunky "petsay all <em dance>" Hope these help and provide entertainment to your game time.

I find it annoying that people constantly ask for someone to do the build for them. I get that people suck at Mids, or don't know how, etc. But, you give no direction on what your looking for or how you play, high s/l, rech, ??? Not to mention what powers do like, especially on blasters you might build for melee but they want ranged. I'd prefer people just try to build or at least fill in some details instead of hey make a build for me. Granted I do my best on my builds I'm proficient but not an expert and I do ask for help and I give it. If its the case you don't care because its just another pl toon then ask @JJDrakken because he lives to do it for people.

Wrong area for base questions here is the link. https://forums.homecomingservers.com/forum/30-base-construction/

Never really played a WS, PB, or Sent. Never leveled on blueside Red only! Never did matching powersets either. Never been to some of blueside zones, mostly hazards I believe. Never did any of the league sized Incarnate trials.

Here is a thread talking about the things you are asking.

Boring in the sense that the build runs itself, drop bots put on FF and its energizer bunny time they keep going and going. Demons hands dine are probably the most powerful pets coupled with EA for example and you have a tank. I had a demon/cold and it was my AV/GM killer, I favor necro heavily just because I like the debuffs, controls, and melee of the zombie/knights. I only suggested bots/ff because its an easy set to start out on, sometimes the pets get alittle crazy and start running all over especially during battle and you can lose control fast. Having macros or keybinds can greatly limit any issues and maintain control.
-
I started out on a Bots/FF it is a good starter set if not alittle boring. BUT, it gives you time to totally learn the nuisances of playing an mm.
-
I just got my TA/Archery fender to 50...so no playing another TA toon for awhile. If you make one keep us updated how it's working, I always love hearing about different combinations.

I tend to find similar threads and post the link but they are ignored, since you know beating a dead horse over and over is s.o.p.

Shopping list for build from Mids possibile?
The_Warpact replied to Jacktar's topic in Tools, Utilities & Downloads
Just print the build out, its what I do then as I purchase/slot the enhancement i just mark it off. -
I know demons are a very strong set, I used a demon/cold as my AV/GM killer. With radiation you have some of the best debuffs in the game however there is no def/res shields but you have a aoe heal in rad to give your pets that extra cushion of protection. That being said I would go Leadership, Tough/Weave, and probably Mace for scorpion shield. This way you can be a really aggressive MM and wade into combat with the demons, keep your macros/keybinds handy to keep them in control. Demons are a very hardy damaging set of pets, your lvl 12 demons have the added bonus of a heal and a res shield which helps. You can use the def/res procs to help out on survivability also. This is my opinion I have zero experience with /rad on a mm but have had it on pet heavy controllers.

@StrikerFox @SableShrike Thanks for taking the time to reply, I will definitely check everything out on Mids when I get home.
-
@plainguy i have one sitting at 17! Sheesh I need to make a list or something. Thanks for the build ill check it out.

I do everything...I play TFs of any lvl, I min/max, I farm, I play evil marketeer, I flashback, I badge, and once in awhile I pvp. But, one thing I dont do is PUG, I have a dedicated friends list and that's who I team with. Trying to segregate people based on their flavor of the game is dumb, what happens if you have people that just want to get their toon PLd and then run a group? Too many variables, I suggest ignoring it or starting your own channel.
-
I've got a weird thing about powersets, dmso for instance /time I made on a troller and a TA fender, sssooo I can't play those powersets for awhile. It's probably because I don't want to burn myself out on a powerset. I have a merc/Traps, and just made the ninja/sonic. I love EA and will probably make a demon in the near future.
-
Oh I didn't say that I didn't like it but compared to necro/storm there is no comparison. I have a thug/psn that I have done nothing with although by now I think he has every day badge, I really should lvl him. I was considering a demon/ea just haven't got there yet, unfortunately work takes up alot of my time. I do sort of the same thing with my merc/Traps although they just soak up the triage bracon energies. Was it just thugs/Poison or was it like thug/psn/mace? Care to post your build?
