I know I'm often curious behind some personality types of various villains. I have several, I have a "joker esque" type who is insane from the toxins that he uses. A rogue military AI that is bent on saving the world from humanity, mad scientists, a power obsessed lich, assassins and warriors in service to that lich. A rogue army General who is reminiscent of Cobra Commander. I also have a VG entirely dedicated to aberrations, monsters, and cryptozoological creatures. One dedicated to global economic domination aka farmers, corporate stalkers, and masterminds. But, my absolute favorite would be the villain who thinks his way is the correct way. Not necessarily evil but, not real nice either. An overlord who controls others to do his bidding and definitely not afraid to get his hands dirty if the need arises. I have more masterminds than other other AT and I think it stems from that model above. Its all the years of Bond villains and comic books that got me hooked.

I don't think anything would ever happen. Not saying that HC or any other server stopped that. But, with the fever pitch of comic book movies out there then a super mmo should have come out then. Not necessarily saying that ship has sailed either but realistically I dont think mmo subs are really there anymore imo.

So this is actually my oldest toon on HC and the least played. A shame to be sure, the current build is a ranged tank with pets. I prefer to change it up with a hybrid mix of melee, ranged, and pets. I went heavy for the res/def and you'll see that in the slotting. I skipped serum, while I am a fan of Max HP especially perma I just couldn't fit it in the build. I agree with this. They might have started as Nazi (5th column) and facists (council) but ultimately because, of history they have evolved into an authoritarian entity. Although is the 5th now a dictatorship under Reichsman?

The thing you also to have to consider is that low population servers are going to try to "pop" out things as an immediate response to try to garner more peeps. The more popular items..new shiny ATs, wow we can do that costume pieces, and other such flash things are just that. I'd rather have a dedicated group take the time to do things right instead of just trying to appease people to get them on that server. Final note Thats why there has to be a push from the player base to get into beta when stuff needs tested. The more people to help the better, quicker things can be implemented to improve....well everything. This in turn allows the player base to have a vested interest in the longevity of the game AND helps them understand the mechanics involved to get out a superior product.

My thoughts on how dark this Gotham seems to be, there is a distinct feeling of menace coming from every direction. This Batman seems to be the unleashed vengeance, one from the dark multiverse. A almost wanting to go back or looking to the horizon on alot of those scenes staring at the sunset/sunrise(?), reminded me of Lord Soth pacing the ramparts searching for his lost love and the twisted anguish from it. Farrell Penguin seems like a villain out of Dick Tracy with a DeNiro mob swagger, does he replace Falcone and if so how does this affect Catwoman? The Riddler...well that one is a riddle a serial killer or a criminally insane mastermind? The Joker horde, well thats interesting has Joker been caught already and this is his gang or fan boys? Or is he a urban legend like slender man and these are murderous groupies? Personally, I love the dark vengeance filled Batman, Keatons was too cartoony, Batfleck tried too hard, and Bales didn't go far enough. The rest sucked so much I'm not going to respond on them. Now all that being said, I would love to see the Scarecrow in this world. Now that would be dark and scary asf.

Posting the same thread over and over in a weeks time is not going to get much traction. My thoughts on why you have little to no answers on it is because no one has done it. Hence no responses, typically farm builds are brutes. You can also slott for s/l def/res and run s/l farms instead of fire farms.

Initially that's what I thought, but, I was thinking more along the lines of having blasting, melee, etc. A super skrull or Amazo not a Taskmaster. Hard trying to get everything in such a large vision when there are limitations. I did go fire/atomic, sorcery pool, and Mace for the Arachnos identity. Different colors and animations on each. Just have to unlock the last 3 slot, and made macros for each change with fx.

Had an idea for a villain that is like Protean (since we have a million costume slots) that can assume various identities. That being said I figured Blasters(maybe) have that range to have different powers, melee/ranged/holds/immobilizes, etc that would fit a character of that type. Not to mention powers can be changed in some instances not only the colors but how they are cast or different animations for melee. So now the question what primary/secondary/PP would fit that scope? I was thinking of doing an Arachnos, Longbow, civilian, hero, villain, Vanguard, etc as different costume options. Thinking caps on and let the creative juices flow! (Eeeww)
