it is a rather long recharge

t1 - mesmerize, same thing but more damage t2 - dominate, same thing but more damage and new slot t3 - renamed to , slight damage increase + stun t4 - confuse, animation trimming and chain up to 5 targets. give it an advantage over illusion t5 - rename to narcolepsy. maybe new mechanic of duration debuff that randomly puts things to sleep after initial sleep t6 - telekinetic slam(because mass levitate is taken). taoe psi/smash stun t7 - mass confusion, shorter cooldown, new slot t8 - terrify, damage increase t9 - total domination, add moderate damage to it and shorter cooldown. make it feel like a t9 sounds like a lot of control and damage because it is. lack of pets + terrify not being great/lack of secondary control makes mind control feel like crap. once you go seeds its hard to go back

mercurial blow - 100% chance to build 1 stack with an additional 50% chance to build a second serpents reach - spender instead of builder. increased range(10/20/30%) and additional damage (20/40/60% of regular damage dealt like fiery embrace) sky splitter - damage increase from form stacks im making this post because i made my first non-fiery aura staff user and now i see what people mean by its a weak set

blaster/corr/dom/troller/epics permahasten. self rezzes get used a decent amount. sentinels ranged defense or permahasten most melee, s/l defense melee with +melee def in melee sets like defensive sweep/parry/etc i slot for ranged defense melee that are already defense based i get to softcap to all with slight recharge masterminds get frankenslotted with hamis to hell so i can squeeze in 5 or 6 pet aura ios if i really like a character i will use second builds for specialize stuff like slotting for ranged/energies at a low level using low level sets for most of posi and all of synapes. I have been loving my rad/fire farm brute in synapes recently due to having like 35% energy defense and 60% energy resist at level 20

want more sentinels? rad/fire. stacking pbaoe dots pistol/bio. stacking toxic damage elec/elec. both t8 end saps causes a lot of Shocked! damage and two 10 target aoes feels nice psi/wp. its ok, long lingering psi blast animations is kinda eating away at me tho rifle/fire. kinda weird, skipped burn. water/bio. just minmax damage as it also has plenty of aoe water/fire. same thing

i wanna say that only regen and willpower gave up something significant for Hide. others got stuff rolled into other things. reflexes lost its auto aoe def because hide does pretty much the same thing dark lost its something something im not doing the whole secondaries

I cant read this thread. Just rename AND rework the Disintegrate Power to something called Lobbed Shot (because Charged Shot is taken) which fires a Radiation Blast's Neutron Bomb ball at the enemy to act as a 10/16 target aoe power And rework the Disintegrate procs to: flat chance to proc from all other beam powers be quicker ticks to spread on ticks- 12 replies

So many things. First of all, most people probably dont slot it. and adding all these little things to it adds up when it comes time to finalize a build Knocking them down does not sound as appealing as debuffing or blasting them Another thing is, do you solo on said alt or do you join leagues, task forces or large teams in general and this recharge proc thing if you get perfect RNG and get it all procs you are just shaving seconds off other things. now factor in the animation time for gale. probably wont be huge

all these little "trying to make it work" things is taking away from blasting time This is where Freezing Rain comes in handy again, slows them all down and gets them ready to get mowed down. Most common example of this would be the last mission in Yin. omg and the packed tightness you are trying to convey speaks to Tornado and lightning storm way more. i didnt know that lightning storm could hit up to 3 targets until a few years ago

The meta of this thought is not taking Hurricane at all due to it being horrifically situational and said slots can be used elsewhere and praying other people are near your intellect. Please believe me that if Hurricane ever gets its repel removed in some form or another I will unleash a torrent of mastermind alts. even more other-ATs if the repel gets replaced with a draw-in effect. All the defense based pets stacking with hurricanes -tohit or draw-in stuff running away from fire patches made by the arsonist or assault bot maybe snow storms -speed working in conjunction with the draw-in effect for a no escape scenario for having smaller aoes like exploding shruiken or molotov but no. fire/storm, ice/storm, water/storm alts are sticking with rain stacking, tornado, lightning storm with some light mist use until the glorious day of repel liberation happens.

it pushes enemies around. screws up agro, aoes and fun. if there was a way to remove the Repel on it then yes, it would be powerful. or at the very least, useful.

gale skip o2 boost regret take, 1 slot, 1 heal. dont use most of the time snowstorm overshadowed by freezing rain steamy mist is just "ok" at lower levels, really shines at 47+ when i can slot it with 3 ribos, 1 lotg and 2 random defense ios freezing rain is 1/3 of the set. using this to stack with rain powers just makes my day and due to it being available at a low level means it comes in handy for posi, +4 frostfires and so on hurricane skip thunderclap skip tornado and lightning - generally 5/6 whatever set and 1 KB2KD. tornado is just a blender of smashing damage and storm is a nice turret

even at max hardcap regen it still takes 10 seconds to fully heal from 1hp. the amount of things that can happen in that time is insane needs things to supplement the mechanic "regeneration". like a heal over time from nature/cauterizing wounds, or an absorb/ignore pain or +healing sets effecting things that cause regeneration. your doctored wounds set bonus does not effect integ, fast healing, instant, etc honestly its been about 15-7 years since regen was playable. we should just sunset the set and offer a free level 50 token to anyone who had a significantly leveled enough regen alt --- it also does not help that most healing sets are not geared to melee or ranged defense

Water Jet. use it with 3 stacks and it recharged itself instantly. that recharge had a lockout of like 8 or 10 seconds i cant remember now its just spewspew

Water Blast got its lockout timer ability removed and improved quite a bit. Hope it happens for psi melee/savage melee at some point

Fire and Fire. Could not vote because none of my sentinels have epic pools. between awkward melee, healing and no synergy on any of them the power picks were best for regular pool mules or tough/weave

because no one plays beam rifle except for that one person whos about to anecdote this post. the lack of a 16 target taoe/cone/blast is brutal and disintegrate or disintegrate never gets a chance to shine -
