  2. facebook tier reply aside its not brand new players. its mostly people with a couple of level 50s already and just kinda blew through their respec without much thought. i cant see why a new player would take multiple travel powers unless they were instructed otherwise
  3. keep the killalls use smaller maps remove the last few missions (skyway) and first patrol map merge the objectives from the skyway maps into the killalls. meaning bertha, tom, hostages, etc can be in the first 4 missions last mission can be in boomtown using the special clockwork king map. babbage can be added as a "monster" class enemy in that large 4 way room So, first mission (anomaly) 3 killalls. maybe change up the named bosses and bump them up to elite bosses with new powers. steel canyon patrol+boomtown last mission. babbage can block off the two entrances to the king until he dies. and the king can be surrounded with psychic clockworks since hes just getting started
  4. I think thats because Citadel and Numina need it more. Citadels biggest drawback for me are those ant colony tier maps, between getting caught on everything traveling through them only to fight 2-3 groups on a multi tiered areas Numina's crystal charging thing still makes no sense and without.. exp/rewards for that whole part stops the game dead
  5. 1 hour is not long, 45 minutes if your group is good. anything longer than an hour is the reason i made this thread, bad players its only boring if you make it boring. ex two trAvel powers, tough/weave and shit at such a low level the whole game is repetitive, its not just unique to synapes. what you thought the pinnacle of gaming was having some dark novas appear in ITF? oh what about a mission of council instead of freaks in yin? please note that a lot of KM ITFs are 30-60 mins. please remember all the sidekicks that might appear before you go nuts on me how your highly specialized group of friends that are +4s running on constant Ultimates did it in 9 minutes and 2 or so years ago the devs did a level-available squish. things that were available at level 28 are now at level 24, things that were level 26 are now level 22. mastermind pets, burn, invincibility, defender oil slick, peacebringers solar flare and light drones, shades corpse explosion and pet are all things that are now available in synapes if you dont do a proper respec with exemplaring in mind you have zero clout to call something boring, because that is 100% on you if you took one of those lazyass slapped together forum builds or you just not caring because you hate doing respecs. to put the forum builds thing into perspective, assuming you even get the reference, i want you to imagine someone on nexusmods's skyrim section uploading HUNDREDS of character presets using Bodyslide and thinking thats good content you can put off the fighting pool until late 20s/30s/40s. not much will be kicking your ass THAT HARD that you need to dedicate 3 power picks to it so early. most of the early game is not s/l anyways You dont NEED more than one travel power. it blows my god damn mind watching someone with SS and SJ still in positron

But the amount of shitty players this time around totally overwhelmed me. people who have hurricane on all the time and gale but then scream bloody murder if you kick them the mindless dregs who frontload their respecs/builds with power pools who complain about being bored with one or two attacks and the people whos minds are eroded to speed only even when clearly said not speed instantly taking off on the first stealthable mission. they dont fucking reply to "this isnt speed please come back" but suddenly they have a voice after getting kicked and its monday, the grand people with their A-game alts refreshed and good to go are suppost to be here and hitting hard until thursday or so the ingame community is turning to shit and i dont know if things will get better

  11. Leveling up, standard aoe. one acc, 3 dmg, endmodx2. let DFB/DIB tohit and/or the START boosters fill in the acc/tohit for a time Max level I use 2 acc/dmg hamis, 1 dmg/endmod IO, 2 endmods and optional 50+5 healing. tough/weave, hot feet and epic pool toggle adds up

  14. i know for a fact that if you are close enough to the ground you can use that power, the flying feet in the air caught me off guard a few years back
  15. start looking at the set bonuses and get used to frankenslotting. you can get some nice ranged/energy/neg energy defenses at a very low level
  16. i thought of that too but that would maybe lead to making mortar mobile as well with a little high tech skate board and then we would have a mini mastermind situation going with ffg, triage, mortar, drones and the probability of making trip mines also mobile. ai powered RC car, a safe knockoff of a mouse droid, etc and really who wants like 5-15 pets out all the time

Fury in itself is kinda stupid since their base numbers are balanced around having a lot of +dmg and if its easy to build and maintain fury then its just their baseline and that kinda makes their inherent not special maybe throw them a bone by adding scaling +resist/def/hp with their fury bar?

In Star Wars: Galaxies we had something called a Combat Medic that specialized in aoe healing and poisons with diseases with some light pistol play Tier 1, Medical Scan, single target: For Players: Scans the target for damage and weaknesses. Does a heal over time (not regen) and +resist and +healing taken. the +healing taken can be for all heals or just the Tech Support heals For Enemies: Scans the target for weaknesses. Does -resist and -healing taken Tier 2, Medical Dart, single target: For Players: rapid ticking heal over time (not regen) for a significant amount or a significant duration For Enemies: toxic damage over time and -regen Tier 3, Therapeutic Fumes, reticle AoE pseudo pet: For Players: wide area heal over time and +recovery. unknown duration and cooldown For Enemies: wide area -spd/rech and -recovery, with potential vomiting Tier 4, Booster Shot, single target: For players: +dmg, +spd, +status protection(or resist) and slow resist For enemies: -dmg and -status protection(or resist) Tier 5, Healing drones: Your character gains 5-6 little drones floating around you healing whatever target is hurt, they disappear/burst after healing. said drones will be animation only, or just cut and paste the drone from robots dont matter and no you cant control them no enemy part Tier 6, Asylum Drone, Immobile Deployable For Players: a huge amount of -def/res debuff resist, knock protection and some minor def/resist. Im thinking no more than 2-3% def or 5% resist. I would prefer this to be on a short cooldown for the fast moving nature of this game For Enemies: low mag low chance knock and something that is not redundant. im getting a little bored typing this and i think i ran outta ideas Tier 7, yeah I am outta ideas, oh god, A cone ability that does not need a target to fire: use the disk throwing animation for the player to throw out a spinning object that rapidly fires healing darts in all directions for raw regen or something Tier 8, Fortifying Serum, single target is there such a thing as max hp over time? just an ability that does not give you a flat +500 max health right away but something that takes a few seconds to build up to +500 max health? for enemies it can do the same thing but in reverse Tier 9, ya know what fuck it im done i cant fill the last spot Maybe like a Gate of Babylon from Fate/Stay Night but filled with medical shit firing off whatever and whoever in a large cone doing lots of random small scale effects on friend and foe alike or maybe an Omega Maneuver thats a random grab bag of effects

Melee, smashing, brawl with pistols out animation Tier3 - Supersonic Fan - ranged cone, lethal/energy Tier4 - Cryo Shot. lethal/cold, maybe mag1 hold attached Tier5 - Point Blank Shot. melee, lethal only Tier6 - Burst of Skittles. Name under construction. PBAoE damage using fire/cold/sonic/toxic/lethal in attempts to give the illusion of multiple ammo types in the clip/mag/bullet holders Tier7 - Hot Shot. lethal/fire with guaranteed dot Tier8 - Assassin's Round. minor lethal/extreme toxic dot. Now, if you can use partial animations can you take the second half of Piercing Rounds (skip the flip/flourish) and slow it down for this to simulate.. actually that will look bad nevermind. Tier9 - i dunno what the fuck to put here. maybe use the old thugs empty clips animation and load up spiked beanbags and have lethal/smash upfront with some minor lethal/smash dots? or maybe something new like a buildup you click, turns into a toggle and then auto detoggles after like 15 seconds and goes on cooldown. maybe call it "+P rounds"? im not googling if pistol beanbags are real because im on enough watchlists
