  1. Force Field characters. I have a few masterminds left that use powerboost + bubbles still Some firefarmers that are not DoT based. my claw/fire uses soul for dark obliteration many of whats left of my defenders use it. time/fire/soul defender is pretty damaging and very utility based. power boost + farsight is insane. elec/elec also benefits greatly end draining with power boost
  2. and im burnt out fire/ice/water blast corrs all over the place. anything where i can stack a snare/slow pit with a damage rain fire/ice/water + storm fire/ice/water + trick arrow fire/ice/water + marine fire/ice/water + dark fire/ice/water + time trap's caltrops radius is too small and sleet from cold dom is too late in the tree for me i stacked all i can and i cant stack no more ice/trick was the most fun tho
  3. optional option is the best long term aspect rare salvage was 750k just a year ago or so with this decline it might be more time efficient to vendor in a few years

  6. yeah its like this for other sets as well. maybe a hard 2 weapon display limit pistols/arrow gets an invis pistol or bow
  7. I dont mind dumping Black Hole in favor of a heal over time power make it something like the more live targets hit the more HoT you get. like you hit 10 targets and you get 10 different little HoT effects on you
  8. Is this from trick or treating and you have "low visibility" on some targets? Not 100% sure but if they stop rendering because of all the people around you it can also be that with that theory i dont know if its client or server side

When it comes to those IO auras I only use the one that compliments the primary while leveling up Reminder that this is for when I level up: Beast/cold, mostly defense I will slot Wolves as such: 4/5 Commanding Presence, 1 random acc/dmg/end pet damage, call to arms: def aura And at max level with access to Hamis I will go: 2 acc/dmg hamis, 1 random acc/dmg/end IO, and 2-3 procs lions same deal but 2 procs and 1 golgi. helps their end spending and their self heal thing dire wolf same thing but raw end redux and maybe a buildup proc but to answer the OP there are lots of combos nowadays Demons paired up with thermal or sonic for resist stacking. change up the def aura shown above to Sovereign Right or Mark of Supremacy resist auras Thugs/robots/ninjas paired up with anything +def or -tohit. Trick Arrow got a buff awhile back and its Flash Arrow with Enforcers' +def was amazing plus oil slick. cold dom, dark miasma, traps, etc Beast mastery I found out can go either resist or defense. defense being stronger. but my beast/thermal and sonic was ok Mercs and Necros are weird to me. Necro pets have odd/uncommon resists and no defense, Mercs get their defense too late for me. However because Mercs are ranged they are in less danger in groups for the most part and my merc/ff, thermal, sonic, dark, and trick arrows were ok to play. Necromancy I only found fun paired with dark miasma. and dark mia can go with any set because of the massive amounts of -tohit it can do. slot Fearsome Stare for -tohit and take Teleport Target to tote around your Dark Servant. getting dark servant into melee range for its gigantically massive -tohit aura is mastermindally universal for pet survival And on the day we finally get blessed with a way to remove the Repel on Hurricane I will get back to you with all the mastermind combos that will unlock
  10. i have lots of claws brutes and tanks with no taunt aura fire might not be a good idea as a scrapper maybe bio and you can min fx most of the armor and pair up claws with the Adaptation glows and go for a poison claws type of deal

  13. Same as always horde them get idea for mini character get bored with mini character in the 30s try to not do the math on how much inf i wasted repeat for 3 or so years

Now at this time I wish i knew more works to properly convey what im trying to think here Back then, someone probably got carried and felt good about it and wished to grow up as strong as the person who carried them, and now said growded up person automatically assumes everyone wants to get carried. they make their fire tanks now and just speed to the end flexing on everyone thinking they are doing a good thing meanwhile 7 people get robbed of exp. However, with no one to flex or rob.. it loses its meaning. Now thats just one scenario, most of the time its some skinnyfat dude with like 15 cans of energy drinks on their table twitching and smoking(vaping?) thinking speed is the only option because they have 50+ alts that need synapes but said person is too afraid to lead or try villain side for their shorter TFs
  15. Now this is some blaming the victim tier stuff. Burn has a rather small radius and there is no way in hell am I able to predict the fold space users actions.

Go back to blaster Start slotting for ranged defense Thunderstrikes in ranged singles Artillery in ranged AoEs Mako's Bite in melee (if applicable) Red Fortune in Weave Take fire mastery for Phoenix. slap an Overwhelming Force dmg/kb2kd in it, and 0-2 recharge IOs. use your inner headcanon irl powers to recolor the shield anyway you want But if you do not want to do that you can try out Corrs Fire/ice/water blast paired with something like Cold Dom. ice shield folks and sleet+rain groups. Or something like Time Manip so you can later on use Soul Master's Power Boost with Farsight slotted up with 3 hami Membranes. I can go on a huge list about snare/slow pits and rain powers but i dont wanna
  17. Freakshow appearing on both factions would probably fill the gap Council left behind. Id love that. There could also be Portal/Praetorian outbreaks. I think villains had their knockoff portaltech portal someplace. Maybe a new scanner/contact all together given by someone at portal/villain equivalent so you can get enemy groups from said missions. even new maps. freakshow innawoods, werewolves on drecks map, etc
  18. Did you copy and paste this from another city of heroes project? Tier8 and Tier9 Primary Powers are available at level 22 and 26 on Homecoming
  19. CoH has been a casual/easy mmo since its inception. long gone are the days of needing a team of 100 players to kill a rat even if i did agree with you these EBs get slaughtered constantly at level 50

I have not been this excited since the patch where we could select the second power in our secondaries and when required levels for powers got squished down to 22/26 primary t8/9 and 24/28/30 for t7/8/9 secondary thethehtehthe trained level thing expands on the chances of even more names being released

  22. im not opening up any one of these builds but if you see multiple travel powers and most if not all of the fighting pool before level 20 move on unless its clearly labeled that its a level 50 only build
  23. I would trade off control over having the mastermind tier cooldowns for pets. This would eliminate the need for permahasten only on top of frankenslotting your pets to slot in the def/resist aura IOs. 10% def all and 20% resist most on top of your leadership would help them survive
  24. Im still not 100% sure myself but they can do it as they please/as needed. So if St martial has an active ToT league, or rikti group then maybe
  25. imagine the maintenance after the patch tho, that should break most people. like every year i pool my alts inf, merits and other misc things and that takes a few days with 150~ alts someone actively squatting on a handful of names would make that into more than a full time job
