If you play in defensive mode, I would definitely go with ?/Electric. Great heals and buffs (that have a chance to affect your character as well) and a positional forcefield that you can drop on the spot you are fighting from. (I have had the most success with ?/electric) I generally target through my most powerful henchman, run up into the middle of the enemy group, drop the forcefield and keep buffing and healing henchmen with a stray attack here or there. What to pick for the primary? I'm a character conception player, so I'm limited to what I think makes sense. I'm not trying to force a reasoning. With the whole Dr Frankenstein thing, I have no problem going with /electric for Necromancy. Robotics? /electric make sense to me as well. Demons? /electric makes sense for a henchman-less mastermind, but then I'm generally running on teams and using the team as my "henchmen". The character jumps in to the location as the tank and uses them as the "most powerful henchman" in the tactic. The other henchmen/animals don't really seem conception-friendly as far as /electric is concerned.

This seems to be more toward Autobots (Transformers) to me. -

Yeah, I don't think that's going to happen for multiple reasons. That's why I fell back to my post about customizing TT which you also brought up ... which I think is far more likely. -
I'm assuming the 9999 as I have 2357 x25 merits in my email>character items at this point. I keep using these (or it would be higher than that), but I only pull them out of the email>character items when I need to use them on the character that I'm currently playing that way they don't get "stuck" on a character that doesn't need to buy anything with merits. My closest to the 9999 cap is converters. I have 9338 of those. I never have even tried using them.

uh, I think that is showing where a door is that you opened, but I'm known to be wrong sometimes. Hiding under stairs is always a good one. Sometimes they are hidden behind stuff in the trailers full of stuff. Little nooks and crannies can hid some strays as well. But, I will agree with.... I've been known to /help with the "defeat all"s as well when I hear the call. And I'll go ahead and say it, some missions have weak walls ... if you have knockback powers, you can end up knocking someone (or more) through a wall. The absolute last resort - if enemies are stuck in walls - is to put in a ticket and ask for the help of a GM. Sometimes they are on and willing to help. But I generally just rest the mission and do it again if it comes down to that.

How can Radiation heroes justify using their powers?

Storm on Stormies! Don't nerf that knockback!

From prior threads, it seems to be an absolute limit. If it even goes that high. I'm assuming if a global channel had 2500 active members on it (sending/reading/viewing messages), it might crash the servers.

Errr ... I put in their bio's that they are radioactive and a danger of those around them. But I wouldn't say that martial artists aren't a threat to some of those around them. Well, you should talk to @DoctorDitko about that. I can do without the screaming demons myself. -

I don't think I ever ran into Alty on Homecoming. I was a member of the RO back before the Sunset (ran with multiple RO supergroup teams), and I recall her going by the name of @AltoholicMonkey or some such. It was great group of people, and I had fun gaming with them. I'm unsure how many of the teams/groups that I played with that Alty was actually playing in. We did used an in-game global channel to recruit/get teams together across the servers. And, when one of the Repeat Offenders teams wasn't running, others would often recruit for a team on whatever server we were on using the channel. People in the RO tended to have a bunch of characters across multiple servers. I can't say that I knew Alty well, but I know she will be missed by those that were still able to game with her. I'm sorry to hear of her passing. She seemed to me to be very good person in general. There was no SG politics or drama. It was just getting together to play on themed teams with people that wanted to have a good time adventuring in the City.

Now what we know SirArthurIV's weakness, we shall use it against him! I want all of you to get personalized shirts with your names on them in big letters! Reading your names when you attack will be his downfall!

I get most of mine through super packs. For me, the funnest way to get merits by fighting in game is hunting Giant Monsters. But, honestly, if I'm going to buy something with merits, it is with merits that I gained through card packs.

I have CoH installed on my D drive, but it is still in a folder called "Homecoming" I'm assuming your before-and-after are both HC launcher? When someone upgrades from the Tequila install to one that runs through the HC launcher, it reinstalls the game, but it sucks over all the personalized information from the Tequila folder. I'm unsure what would cause a new install under a different folder name.

Unfortunately, I can't quote directly from my previous post on this thread as it is on a different page. I think the way around this is obvious - you get flashback arcs in the Ouroboros that send you to the missions in Echo:GC. No extra tagging of characters. No contacts need to be returned to Galaxy City or Galaxy City itself. No reason even to put contacts in Echo:GC. Just get the contact arc through the Ouroboros and go to Galaxy City to do the door missions and hunts. I'm unsure if there were any "talk to"s in the Galaxy City Origin arcs, but I member them being different than the Origin arcs form Atlas City contacts. I think there were only contacts in Galaxy City were the 5 starting Galaxy City Origin contacts. I don't recall any other contacts being in Galaxy City.

That's two more than I'll need any time soon. With over 150 characters I know that I've /respec'd less than 5 times total since being on Homecoming. I'm guessing only 2 or three times total (I can't even remember the last time I did a /respec), so, well less than a /respec per year and each character gets one for free every 10 levels. I'm kind of curious how much /repec'ing people actually do. I'm guessing that a lot of players /respec when their character hits level 50 ... and there are many that PL/doorsit to 50 .... but then they would have 5 ... so ...
